Purchased the coupon noted above through angies list. At first had trouble coordinating the appointment via phone. Although the Provider did respond promptly through the angies list message service which I preferred anyway. They told me there should have been a surcharge listed of $59 for because it was oil although I specifically purchased the oil boiller cleaning and not the gas furnace cleaning which was the first coupon I found. They said it was angies list fault but would honor the $66.00 price. The service tech showed up a week early (I was not home) they called asking why no-one was home. I had to let them know the appointment was for the following week. When the service tech showed up on the correct day he started working promptly and was very nice. I did not hang over his shoulder while he worked so I can only assume everything was completed. I did watch him bleed the oil line after I assume replacing the filter. This boiler was not cleaned in at least 5 years or more so I was surprised to learn that it was "all in good condition" but the nozzle was gummed up as well as the oil filter housing, to be expected This did not include removal of the top of the boiler to clean in between the plates as I had seen on most YouTube videos showing how a boiler is cleaned. Also I don't believe any tuning of the boiler was done. I'm not even sure if the front of the boiler was opened and cleaned out. I received no formal receipt or report on the boiler. No attempt to upsell anything (which is ok) I know for a fact the relief valve piping is too small so was at least expecting a quote on that item. All in all for $66.00 I cannot complain if it at least included a oil filter change and nozzle cleaning.

Dan answered the phone and promptly took down my information and scheduled Mike over to my house first thing the next morning. Convenient and fast. Friendly Service.

I had contacted them and we scheduled appointment which they winded up cancelling and then took them several days for them to contact me back. The service man Mike that showed up to perform the service was unacceptably rude and I winded up letting them know that I no longer wanted them to do service for me.

It didn't "go" anywhere because this guy won't answer my calls or return an email. What a terrible way to do (or not do) business!

Dan responded right away and sent Mike out within two days, as the leak had been contained and was not an emergency. Mike communicates well, is efficient and explains exactly what he is doing. He took the time to educate me about the problem details. I also noticed that he took time on earlier service call to explain my furnace to me when he cleaned it. I can't say enough about the quality of his work!

He was done in about 30-45 minutes, making the appointment very quick and easy. The maintainer was also very careful to capture any oil dripping at the furnace and through the house when exiting. Note that oil-based systems are an additional $75 over the base rate, which was only $49 through Angie's List (value $159.00). The promotion did mention that oil-based systems will be charged an additional fee, but never cited that price, so I'm putting it here for the public's consideration. Altogether, this deal was still a great 53% discount!

Excellent. The main valve wouldn't turn completely off but Mike was able to proceed and install the second shut off valve without having to have the water shut off at the street. They were very responsive and came a little ahead of their scheduled appointment.

It was excellent. I got the discount from Angie?s List and he replied quickly and he got over quickly and he did the job. The cost was reasonable and I was glad I found him. I will use him again. The problem with the furnace was completely solved and my bill is probably a little lower because he cleaned it. You don?t have to clean a gas furnace as much as you would clean an oil furnace. I think the cost was $205 then he took the $50 off. But I guess for an electrical component, the price was reasonable and there was no up selling involved. I'm very glad that Angie's List found this guy.

The guy showed up within the two hour window provided and inspected/cleaned our furnace. We knew it was ancient and should be replaced; the D. Rohde guy confirmed that and told us what could be fixed if we wanted to go that way. He also talked about some replacement options. He seemed knowledgeable. The cost of replacement seemed high, but there was no pressure to get the replacement. Overall a very good experience.

Dan, Mike and the team arrived right on schedule. They removed a 36yr old oil boiler with ease. It was big, bulky and took up a lot of space in the room. They replaced it with their recommended Navien Combi Boiler. This small, wall hung unit is strong enough to provide heat and hot water to the entire house, ON DEMAND! All the new connections are all on the wall and to be honest, compared to the old unit, IT'S BEAUTIFUL. They cared about the details of function, look and space. They worked fast as a true team. The work would have been completed in just 3 days if it wasn't for waiting on the pipe line company. When the cold weather hit we weren't getting enough hot water. After one phone call to Dan, Mike came right over and turned the temp. up on the boiler. They had set the hot water temp. to summer conditions so not to burn my children. That's the kinda guys they are. I feel confidant that if I have a question or concern or if something isn't working right, one phone call is all I need. And that's what you want when having to make a chose!! Thank you guys for a great job!!

Everything was very professional, he took his time to make sure that the boiler worked proficiently. Great job!

Came in went right to work trying to find the issue, once found he had to go to a store to buy the part(took about 15mins,) Replaced the part and all was good, took about halfhour I had paid for a $99 tune up special through Angies list before furnace had issue, not sure if that was actually performed I mentioned it but not sure.

We initially made the appointment for yesterday but another service call ran far longer than expected. They called me to reschedule for today. The serviceman arrived early and set to work repairing a "temporary" fix done by another company who never came back to really fix the problem. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He discovered an improperly set coupling was causing a lack of oil pressure. He blew out the underground lines and stayed to make sure the furnace was firing properly. Given the amount of time he had to spend and the valves and fittings he replaced, the cost was very reasonable. I would certainly use them again.

Love D. Rohde. They will get all my plumbing, ac and heating business.

D Rhode heating and plumbing cleaned and serviced my bioler. They determined a part needed to be replaced. The part was ordered and installed. Highly recommend for heating issues.

After a minor scheduling issue where we had agreed upon a date and time but because they called ahead and I did not answer they did not come, we rescheduled and everything went well. They showed up on time and were professional and efficient. I would use them again.

This was very expensive and big job. My 3000+ sq foot house has only electric heat. I wanted to get state of the art system installed. 1. Dan was super knowledgeable and knew everything about the components. 2. He spent a great deal of time analyzing what would meet my needs, and how the system should work. 3. His work (install) was top-notch. 4. He responded very quickly to my concerns, and came over to test the system when I wasn't (initially) happy with it. 5. I price-shopped with 6 other reputed providers. I went with him not only because his price was competitive, but because he knew his systems inside-out. Minor stuff I didn't like: 1. The systems installed did not meet energy star compliance, so I did not get the rebates I was hoping for (loss of ~$2000). I put part of the blame on myself: he showed me the model numbers and I should have done my due diligence. 2. In hindsight, I should have asked for additional indoor units. Its still a bit undersized. 3. It can be hard to get hold of him sometimes (response to emails). Overall, A+ service.

It went very well, as it always has with D. Rohde. Dan is very meticulous in his work. He has done work for me in the past and has always done an excellent job. He checked everything thoroughly. Before he left, he answered all my questions and concerns about the heating system. I called Dan in September about a hot water pipe, which had a slow leak. While he was here, he fixed the problem and even drained the hot water heater for me. He was kind enough to take a look at the water supply to the refrigerator ice maker to let me know if there was an issue with it, as I had been experiencing a problem with the ice and water. I've already highly recommended D. Rohde to my neighbors and wouldn't use anyone else. He is honest and very pleasant. His prices for service are very fair. I had called him the first time to check out my boiler for a free estimate if to check if anything needed to be done. Before I was a member of Angie's List, and found Dan, another heating company told me I needed an entire new heating system with a new hot water heater incorporated into it, which was totally unnecessary and very dishonest of them.

Everything went very well. Service provider was very professional. He explained what the service entailed and when done explained what was replaced and why.

This company is professional, experienced and courteous. They promptly arrived at my house when I called in early evening, even though it was quite late when they finished the job before me. The technician explained details of the problem he found and how it should be repaired. They ultimately fixed a leak in my central air conditioner in just an hour, did an excellent job and charged a lower price than I would have expected to pay. I highly recommend them.
