We called during busy season, but got a bid right away. They were up front that they were so busy it could be a few weeks before they were able to do the work, which was fine with us. They called when they were going to be in the area doing other jobs and arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently. The price was great too. We would definitely use them again.

I was flexible on the time frame of the work , and in turn got a great price.

They did a good job but trimmed alittle more than we wanted.

A a crew of five came around 4PM with three heavy duty trucks. One guy climbed up the trees and trimmed the dead branches out, and constantly asked if I was and quot;okand quot; with the result. He was very professional and skilled with his moves. Three others were looking out and dragging the branches away during the process, while the team lead was monitoring and coordinating among the crew and me. I didn't need to remove any tree so the job was fairly straight forward. They were careful not to drop anything on my neighbors property and warned me if it was going to. The team lead, Forest, confirmed that one of the Mulberry trees was not dead and didn't need to be removed, also notified me about the poison ivy that were along the fence yard, that was good to know since we and the neighbors all have dogs and kids. The crew didn't solicit for gratuity or any sort. They cleaned up after themselves as promised. We couldn't be happier with the result. Thanks Angie.

John came when promised. He gave an extremely reasonable quote. The service was unbelievable and I highly recommend them.

Cleaned up and left property as they found it. I have had numerous trees removed over the past 20 years and I have always found John to be the most reasonable in price, his workers are courteous and they always show up when they're scheduled to.

The job involved ropes and climbing equipment. It was accomplished reasonably quickly and without too much drama. Bottom line, they do very good work for the price.

They were very good. They contacted them 2 days after Sandy and they were out that Saturday. I have used them before as well. They are reliable, they return phone calls. They do what they promise and deliver.

The Perfect Cut Crew arrived on time and worked from 9:30AM until 4:30PM with time out for lunch. One man climbed all our very high trees and cut them off little by little and then they lowered the larger logs down carefully by ropes. The trees were overhanging the house and we were worried that they would fall during the next big storm. The crew was respectful and hard working. The job was completed on time and efficiently.

.John, from Perfect Cut, arrived within a week or two after Hurricane Sandy to give us an estimate. As always, it was more than reasonable considering the amount of work involved. We have used Perfect Cut for years. We don't even bother to obtain any other estimates as he is always so fair, responsible and thorough. Our magnolia was damaged in the previous year's early snowstorm and after his men trimmed it, it was more beautiful than ever. His men came and not only cut up and took away the three downed pine trees, they cut up a tree for my husband to chop up for firewood. They cleaned the yard and blew debris off the driveway. We need to have three more pine trees cut down and quot;just in caseand quot; a storm comes again. John came over within two days of our call and helped us decide what to do and gave us an amount that is very fair. we look forward to his next service in January of 2014. I highly recommend his company.

I moved to Saddle River, NJ a few years ago from Montebello, NY. I had used Perfect Cut on 3 seperate occassions and was very leased with their work. But I decided to use the tree service that everone in town said was good. I used them even though they were much higher than Perfect Cut. The service was fine. After the hurrican and having spent over $4,000 with them the local company treated me like they never heard of me. I called Perfect Cut and was treated like an old friend. Now I use them exclusively. They are always the low price, the most professional, knowledgable and accomodating. Shame on me for not using them once. I won't do that again. These guts know what they are doing and are very hard working. ANd this is an honest review having learned the hard way! Steve

Arrived on time and used crane , etc to cut down the two trees on my property that I wanted removed (1 tree was a double trunk). Clean up was excellent

There were a few hiccups with the office but the actual work done was pretty good for a fantastic price. There was a few problems about them showing up on time for the estimate. The first day was a no-show and when i called the office they asked to reschedule due to an emergency, which made me think i probably wouldn't go with their services. The following week they came out and quoted us a really great price. Ironically, the day after they came out to give us an estimate the tree we'd been concerned about came down on the house. I called all of the tree service companies I've received estimates for and Perfect Cut returned my call and said they'd be there the very next day. One issue we had was that there was a beautiful scarlet maple that was under one of the larger poplars they took down and it was quite damaged, and may take some time to recover. I don't know enough about it but it appeared to be a difficult job, since the maple was practically abutting the poplar. I would imagine that it was probably very tricky not to drop polar branches on the maple. The day they finished the tree cutting the men asked us to call the office and pay. Upon contacting the office they insisted we pay for the entire job and we refused since the stump grinding was not done and the logs still needed to be picked up. They were not happy! They got paid in their entirety when the job was completed. Nonetheless, I was very happy with the price we got and the job they did. They are far from us and very busy, so the stump grinder and log pickup took almost 2 weeks to complete from start to finish.

Perfect cut was one of three bidders I had on the job. They gave the best price right off. When I was ready to award the job, I asked for a revision to cut the logs down fireplace size (so that I could split). They did not increase their price for this change. The caveat with Perfect Cut is that they seem to always be very busy, and I am somewhat far from their home base. So they were happy to work with me if I didn't mind waiting a couple of weeks for when they were in my area. Since the work wasn't at all urgent I was fine with that. Long story short, they did a great job and delivered everything as promised, including grinding the stump. I gave them a C for responsiveness because of the long lead time, but they called me back and responded quickly with everything else such as providing insurance forms and returning phone calls. Most importantly, there are some shady companies doing tree work. Perfect cut seemed completely legit and trustworthy.

We have used them many times in the past. They do a great job, are very careful around my gardens, do a great clean-up and listen to my concerns. Wish they could have come earlier, but understand they are still working 6 days a week even now to catch up. Very happy with the job done.

Their pricing and service are excellent. They are absolute topnotch as far as I am concerned, up and down the line.

I would not recommend this company. After the super storm a tree fell on parents house and I understand that they were swamped but it was impossible to get them to come over and give us an estimate on how much it would cost WO doing any work. We kept on getting bumped to the next day (Tuesday-Sunday). After Sunday we gave up and just used another company. Once again I understand that they were busy it would take a few mins to look at the damage.

From the beginning it was great the supervisor came out And surveyed the job very professional. He gave me the price for the work and we moved forward with the process. When they called and gave me the date everything was fine . Then there was a issue with the work order called to speak with supervisor who had come out waited for a return call never received one this happened three times and still never got a call back.

The day we scheduled the estimator to come out they ended up canceling b/c they had booked too much work for him. However, he was very apologetic and was flexible in scheduling another day. He gave me a fair price and different payment options which I appreciated. The day we scheduled the work which was about 3 months after the estimate, the workers showed up on time. The foreman was very professional and so were his workers. It was evident that the team really worked well together. They were organized, efficient, and cautious. They were sure to understand my needs/wants and were happy to comply. The only complaint I had was partly my fault. My complaint is that the estimator did not tell me about the option of grinding the stump but I also was unaware of this option. So although I got all the work done, I wish he would've offered that option at the time of the estimate. However, I do plan on doing it in the future and will call them first to do the work.

The Gentlemen who came out to do the estimate was very nice. He quoted me a fair price to take down an 80 Foot LARGE Oak tree. He offered to throw in some extra tree triming and branch clean up with the job. He wrote up the quote sheet and handed it to me I said on the spot let's do the job. He told me someone would contact me to set up the appointment. He estimated about 30days out. The next day I realized he did not write down the price on the quote. So I called Perfect cut to see if maybe he forgot to write it on my copy. They told me he did not write on their copy either and asked me how much it was. I answered honestly I could have said any number, but the number was 1750.00 She said ok and she would mark it down. I asked about scheduling the appointment and she told me someone would contact me. It was so long ago I don't remember when that took place, same day maybe. So they did call or I called them, I do not remember. I told them I would like to get the job done ASAP. They informed me they are booked 2 months out because they only have 2 cranes and my job required one. I was hesitant but again I remembered the good reviews so I said ok no problem. I was told they would come on July 30th. I scheudled the time off work and patiently waited. The week prior to the appointment I was expecting to get a phone call to confirm the appointment, nothing, so I called them on Thursday (July 26th) and asked them to confirm. They said I was on the books for Monday July 30th and someone would call me Friday (July 27th) to let me know what time. Late Friday I get a call, telling me they would be at my house and quot;after 12and quot; on Monday July 30th. Now i'm not a tree expert but that struck me as odd, since the scope of work I discussed with the estimator was for a full day job, but again I went with it, it stays light till 8 - 9pm. Monday the big day! I am off work, I get a call at 7:30AM asking to confirm my address and landmarks becuase they have not been to my area before, no big deal, provided the info, they said thank you and see you in the afternoon. I got up, cleared all my vehicles and other things out of the driveway and yard in preperation for their arrival in the afternoon. Noon - noone shows up1pm - noone shows up 2pm - noone shows up 3pm - noone shows up 3:30pm - I call them asking for an update on the status of my appointment. The lady who answerd was nice, she said let me check for you, i'm on hold for few minutes and she comes back and says she is sorry but they are not going to make it out today and quot;the job before mine keeps adding stuffand quot;, I could tell from her voice she was embarrased. Now most people would start screaming and yelling but im a very understanding person. She said someone will have to call and rescedule, I informed her it would have been nice if someone called me earlier because I took off work and I have been waiting two months for this appointment. She said she would have someone call me first thing Tuesday morning (today) Well it is 6:40PM and noone has called and now I no longer will do business with them. I contacted another tree service company (Flanagan) recomended by a neighbor at 1pm today. The women I spoke to was extemely pleasent and she had one of their estimators contact me strait away. He asked when he could come out to see the tree. 1 hour later he was at my house. He gave a spot on estimate for the same scope of work. I told him I would like it done ASAP, he said he could do it next Monday. I said DONE! around 5pm my phone rang and it was the estimator he said he had an opening TOMORROW (wed) morning if it doesn't rain they will be out first thing to do the job! Now thats service, take a lesson, consiquently my neighbor is now going to do business with them as well. Please do not contact me, I don't care to do business with you anymore and everyone else beware.

They wound not drive their truck on our property. They drag everything out so that they do not leave any marks on our grass and stuff. They come with enough manpower, and they clean up after themselves after the work is done.

I called him to see if a tree can be saved and said it could not be. He said if I buy another tree he would plant it for me. He is very nice and knowledgeable man. He was very professional and reasonable. I can not say enough good things about.

I would recommend them to others and I would use them. They got here and done the job. They done the work quickly and the staff was nice. The folks that came were very nice to work with and they cleaned up very well after themselves. They brought a truck with a lift and he got the job done. They also had a small guy to climb up the trees and he done that very safely. They were able to get the work done in an hour and just did a good job. They kept me informed when they would be here due to the weather issues we were having. They were here the morning they said they would be here and they got it done.
