Description of Work: The tech was friendly and got the job done. I was supposed to get a call back and had to call them back, after waiting hours. Being that I bought the deal on Angie's List, I was concerned when I didn't get a call back. I was changed an extra $38 for the call in addition to what I paid on Angie's List, but I was overall satisfied with the service received.

Description of Work: I called them at 9:00 am because I lost the keys to my car. They sent a technician to the BALDWIN train station at 11:30 and he created a new digital key for my car. It only took about fifteen minutes. He was a very nice kid and very thorough. I was very pleased

Description of Work: I called him and said could I come over that day. When I got there around 1:00pm his store door was open and I walked in yelled hello . No one answered so I called him from my cellphone. He answered and said I should go the the store next to his and they would take my info. I went next door and the person took my in of and then called him. I was told he would not be coming back to his store and that he would come to my house and make the key up there. Fine I made up he would come between 2-5 pm . This was a no show, no phone call, no email nothing.he never responded or explained at all.

Description of Work: I purchased their service to rekey some locks. I had to call them after several days because did not contact me (phone or email) after purchase online. Set an appt., which they cancelled that morning, we rescheduled for the next day, they were supposed to be there before noon-1pm, showed up at 3:30. The gentleman who showed was very nice and professional, but they're communication and scheduling needs improvement.

Description of Work: They came to fix a lock. When they arrived they said they couldn't because certain parts needed to be ordered. They said they would take care of it but never came back, even after I called to see why they were not responding. So they just charged for the service call and did nothing else.

 + -1 moreAlthough the provider was a little late, the work was done was done extremely quick and professionally. He offered a spare key at a discount price which was an added bonus. He was very professional, worked quick and got the job done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has foolishly lost their car keys like I did.
Description of Work: The provider came to my house and made a car key, and a spare, for my car. I had lost my car keys and did not have a copy. The keys needed to be cut and programmed. I was charged $50-$65 less compared to couple of other key makers I called.

He was meticulous about cleaning up after he was finished. He also spend a great deal of time explaining the details about how our locking mechanism worked. Overall it was an exceptional experience, and I will use Matt in the future for lock-related work.

Description of Work: Matt Hornik was very patient and professional. I had to cancel my appointment at the last minute because my tenants refuse to relinquish my keys until 12:00 midnight. I called Matt and asked if he could change my locks on my house at 12:00 midnight and he accommodate me with the late hour and very dependable work. They tried to pick the lock to get it open but it wouldn't budge due to the age of the desk. He drilled it out and was done in under 30 minutes. Super easy and would definitely recommend them for any locksmith needs.
