They were very professional and were able to time the work around the closing schedule for our new home. Price was very reasonable even without the deal. Estimate and actual service were prompt and professional.

My key did not turn in outside front door lock, only worked for inside door lock. Lock had been purchased as part of decorative door knob a few months before, installed by my contractor, and worked fine until it didn't . Matt at TopLock suggested I call manufacturer of lock, and even provided me with phone number. Lock company shipped me a new cylinder at no charge. Once I received the new lock, I contacted Top Lock and scheduled for the following day. Although the locksmith was running behind schedule, TopLock called several times to update me on expected time of arrival of locksmith. Locksmith even called, as I requested, just as he got to my house to allow me a few minutes to crate my dogs before letting him in. Locksmith was polite and professional. He even gave me a small discount for my inconvenience because I had to wait around because he was running late.

The locksmith arrived on time and did the work efficiently and completely. He was polite and respectful. The locks have been working fine in the 2 months since he did the replacement of the front door locks ( door knob and deadbolt). I realized that I had made the payment without getting the credit for the Angie's List deal that I had purchased. I phoned the company and was told that a refund check would be mailed to me. Unfortunately it took over month to get the refund check as they had mailed it without my apartment number and it was returned to their office. I had to phone several times to get this resolved. My ratings would be overall A's if this had not been an issue.

Quite well. The Technician was an expert at his job. He was very pleasant and patient. I felt quite comfortable and pleased with him. He cleaned up after himself as well.I will most definitely recommend him to friends and family. He made sure that the keys operated the lock and had me try them before leaving.

Top lock was on time and preformed services quickly and efficiently. Matt and Ricky are professional showed up when they said they would and did not leave a mess! I totally trust these guys and always recommend them to my friends and family. 5 stars, A++ service.

I showed the locksmith the locks where work was required. He explained which locks may be re-keyed and which ones must be replaced. He finished the work in about 30 minutes and provide my new sets of keys. I confirmed the new keys worked with the locks, and am completely satisfied. I plan to use their services again to replace a few more locks.

Met and dealt with Matt the owner to have 3 key fobs and 3 keys cut for 2012 Camry. Matt was very professional and knowledgeable of the process and went out of his way to ensure that the 3 mechanical keys worked flawlessly on the car after programming the key fobs. Unlike his competitors, the price that he charged was fair and his integrity & honesty were excellent. Loved to deal with people like Matt who is straightforward and honest in all his answers and work. It's hard to find honest and hard working people like that nowadays, especially with a locksmith. I'd definitely go back to Matt for all my future locksmith needs. Keep up the great work Matt!

This is the 3rd time I've used this company.. I needed these guys today in a jam and they delivered for sure. I terminated an employee from my business this morning and needed the locks changed. Ricky came within the hour as the dispatcher told me. They quoted me a flat rate on the phone and that's what they charged. I also asked if they could change the code for my alarm system and they did it at no additional cost. I have this company stored in my phone. Big thanks to the prompt emergency service

Originally, I had an appointment for 4:30pm. I placed three phone calls to inquire and received countless excuses; 1) Tech was caught up on a previous job 2) They had incorrect contact information to inform me they were running behind (not my fault) 3) The service truck was in a car accident. After the third call, I requested to cancel the job as I will take my business elsewhere. Soon after hanging up I received a call from the owner (Matt) who offered his apologies and promised to make it up to me on the price. When tech arrived he replaced three locks, which ran me a total of $165. Their pricing is as follows, $89 for the first lock and $39 for each additional lock. If my math is correct that equates to $167, how was I "taken care of"? I never received any follow up call to ensure I was happy with the service and price, which you think would've been the right thing to do. Lastly, the lock is not smooth at all and requires me to pull the door in order to lock or unlock the door.

Top Lock called the day after I signed up for the Angie's List Big Deal. After I explained what I needed, we scheduled a date and time. They came promptly as promised, installed the locks and cleaned up after themselves In short, they were professional, efficient and polite.

This is the second time I've used this contactor and the experience was great. My business moved to a different location and we needed so much done. I needed all of the locks rekeyed, cameras installed, alarm system and a buzzer system. Matt came down for an estimate on 2/26, we did a walk thru. By 2/28 I had a price and everything was done 3/3-3/4...Top Locks price was $600 less expensive than the other contactor I brought in. The estimates were identical, same hardware. Matt and 2 other men were here each day and they were professional, neat, and friendly. I highly recommend this locksmith

, This is the first time I have used Angie's list to locate a contractor. Top Lock and another company was in the December AL magazine. I called and got an estimate from top lock. Second Company didn't anser phone, so I went with Top Lock. I explained I had been the victim of home robbery very recently and needed to change two cylinders and put a new locking doorknob on my front door. Original estimate was for 2 cylinders and the knob. for $150.. And I was given an arrival time with a one hour window. Locksmith arrived over one hour late. Had to call back to see if he was coming as it was already late in the evening. I was told driver was lost and couldn't find me with GPS. Found that strange and wondered why he didn't call me for directions, but no matter. Locksmith very friendly kand knowledgeable. He told me about a problem with a broken door hinges, I didn't know was there. I just thought the door wasn't hung properly. He solved problems when my set screw I had purchased was too long and when my side door lock was stiff, he oiled it and it seemed fine. I had forgotten to say I was with Angies list and my credit card had already been charged, but company offered that since estimate was for 2 cylinders and I had actually needed to swap out three to call it even, so my card wouldn't have to be reswiped and previous sale voided. Had story ended here, company would have gotten a great review. Te next morning, I tried to use my side door, but was unable to lock the door from outside. I went back in and locked up the side and used the front door. I forgot to call Top Lock because I worked late all week. By Wednesday, I notioundced a cylinder on y front door was spinning. The next day, I had a doctor's appointment, and upon returning, the cylinder and collar came off in my hand. Friday morning, I called Top Lock and a woman told me someone would call me back. I was home sick all day, and no one called. The next morning, which was yesterday, I called again. Someone said I would be called between 12 and 1 by the locksmith. No one called again. Oh, I forgoet to mention the 50 questions game I was asked to play on the 2nd call. When was rhe service performed? Who came out on the call? What did he look like? Was he young or old? Was he Black or White? Was his hSaturday eitair dirty blond or was his hair orange?,I finally said, you have my phone number, you ran my credit card, it wasn't even a week ago, can't you look it up? That stopped the 50 questions. Nobody called Saturday either. When I called back, they said technicians were in my area all day. I said yeah, but no one came to my house and I am going out. when I couldn't provide a specific time that I would be returning, I was told I would have to call back. I did that this morning, the third day in a row. this time I was told someone would call me between 12PM and 2:30. At 2:25 no one had called, so I called back. Dispatcher said locksmiths were running behind and that I needed to be patient. As I was saying that I felt I was being patient as this was the third day I was calling, the dispatcher hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. How Rude can you get? Oh, and I forgot to mention, I actually gave the locksmith a $20 tip when he came out, because I thought my experience at that time was pretty good and was hoping that would grease any squeeky wheels if I did need a return visit. So much for that idea.

After purchasing the deal for the deadbolt I was contacted immediately the next morning. I was scheduled for the following day between 9am and noon. During the night there was some snow and things got slowed down, I was called at 930am and told that it would be a little later since the tech was behind with the weather outside. I was asked if I was ok with an afternoon appointment and said no problem. Around 145pm I received a call from Ricky, the tech, saying he was on his way and would be there between 215PM and 230PM. As expected Ricky arrived and went right to work. He installed the door without issue and insured it proper function, explained and walked me through setup, and cleaned up after himself. He also was nice enough to look at the front door of my house and was able to solve an ongoing issue with about fifteen seconds of work which was not charged. I appreciated there quick response, professionalism, and their reasonable prices/work. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone and would use them again if I need a locksmith for anything.

The technician arrived later than quoted but was friendly, efficient, informed and very pleasant. They charged half of what the dealership quoted and came to the house. Keeping this number handy.

Great experience all around. Purchased the deals at about 9pm. Received an email response within 10 minutes or less. Matt said they could do the job right away. We weren't ready due to holiday preparations. Once we were ready, contacted him and he was able to send someone the same day (Friday, December 26th). Ricky came to install the locks. What a nice guy and very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the entire job down to the clicks we would hear when using the locks. He was able to "fix" our broken door knob so that it wouldn't fall off again (until it can be replaced) at no extra charge. He told us about various options to replace it and the quality of the different brands of handles/locks including the types of construction and metals. He called the shop and they will give us some prices to replace the knob on Monday. As for the locks, wow! Quite impressive as is the work done to install them, not to mention the high tech keys that go with these locks. Would definitely use their service again. A welcome change from our last experience when I chose a random company from the phone book who was overpriced for poor quality materials and workmanship. Will post pics of the locks and keys soon.

After having an issue with another locksmith (referral); we found Top Lock on Angies List and gave them a call. Matt was great, he came to our house within a couple of days after our call. He re-keyed 3 locks for us and installed a new deadbolt

Before I decided to give Top Lock the job, I spoke extensively with Matt on the phone. He patiently answered all my questions and provided me with all of the information that I needed. Matt is extremely knowledgeable and he NEVER pressured me to purchase anything that I did not want or need. Speaking with him gave me the confidence to award Top Lock my job and it turned out to be an EXCELLENT decision. He was prompt and arrived with everything exactly as we had agreed. He got right to work and had the job done in no time! He checked everything to make sure it worked and then waited patiently while I also checked that I knew how to operate the new locks. What would I say about Matt and Top Lock? Responsible, Honest, Dependable, Reputable, Professional, Knowledgeable, Patient, Prompt. Lastly, I would definitely recommend that you use Top Lock for your locksmith & security needs as you will be 10000% satisfied!! UPDATE: 8/30/14 There was a defect in the lock and Top Lock replaced the entire lock with no questions asked. Excellent communication and excellent service. Top Lock has integrity!! .
