Description of Work: We have a service contract with Petro Oil whereby we make budget payments every month of about $280 or something like that.. In July 2011, we received the final bill for the budget year which was $1,600. Need less to say this was a very unpleasant surprise. Petro had called in March 2011 and suggested that we raise our budget payment to $280 a month but obviously this was not sufficient I called Petro on 07-26-11 to arrange for payment of the bill and to ask them why they couldn't have contacted us during the budget year to inform us that even the new $280 a month payment was going to be enough. I told the Petro rep that the communication was insufficient and that LIPA seems to be able to adjust monthly budget payments to cover actual usage and why couldn't Petro? I received no answers. The rep couldn't explan the lack of communication and wouldn't even admit that there was a problem. I had been undecided about whether or not to convert to natural gas and I must say that this experience with Petro has gone a long way to convince me that gas is the way to go because the service from LIPA seems to be superior to Petro.

Description of Work: Installed a new oil burner.
