Description of Work: They cut the top off of a birch tree which was towering over the house, as well as trimming dead branches on other trees. They were very professional and actually did the work on the same day as the estimate because they got a cancellation.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job and they were done in two hours. They took the tree down and took away the wood. They had a cherry picker and they were very good and very professional. The price was about what everyone is charging. I think that was excellent. I hope we don’t have to have any more trees taken down.

+ -1 moreI have used Manor for years. They know what they are doing, explain the work in advance, give estimates, show up when they are supposed to and leave no mess. Last year they did take a little longer than usual to get back to me after I left a message but the second time I called they called back the same day. The estimator was there the following day and the work was done within a week. They have gotten a little pricey but I suspect nobody decent is doing tree work cheap.

+ -1 moreWhen I arrived, they were sweeping up. I didn't see the process, but they left the area nice and clean. The tree didn't damage my neighbor's house, which seemed like a real possibility. I think this is a great company.
Description of Work: A tree between my house and my neighbor's house was splitting, and it looked like half of it was going to fall on my neighbor's house. I called to report a possible emergency, and Ed came out the same day to see the tree. They removed it the next morning. The tree was at least 40 feet tall, and they charged $425 to remove it, which seems like a very good price.

+ -1 moreThey did a great job and left the property very clean. They did not grind one of the stumps that had been part of the plan when they did the other work. When I called about it, I was told that it was an oversight and it would be done quickly. It took a few weeks and another phone call before the stump was ground. The stump may have been hard to find, and it was just a tiny part of this huge job.
Description of Work: They removed a huge birch tree that was a couple of feet from my house and ground the stump. The work required a crane and closing the street in front of my house. I paid $4000 for this with Manor compared to a quote of $7500 from another company. Another company declined to offer a quote because they did not have the right equipment. They also removed a 6 foot tall tree stump that was on a narrow ledge; because of the location, the remains could not be ground. They removed a hedge of 7 trees that was about 9 feet tall and ground the stumps, and they ground one other stump that I had been told could not be ground because of its state of decay.

+ -1 moreThey were very good. They showed up on time with the owner who explained the work to be done. It was about a day and a half of work. Everything was removed from the property and it was left very clean. Their price was about one-half of the two other bids I received.
Description of Work: Pruned and trimmed several trees on my property. Also took down 1 large tree and ground the stump out.

+ -1 moreIT WAS OK. THEY DID THE JOB, BUT SOME OF THE MEN I HAD TO TALK TO WERE NOT BEING AS CAREFUL AS THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN. ACTUALLY THE PRICE WAS BROUGHT DOWN BECAUSE THEY DAMAGED SOME SHRUBS. I ACTUALLY STOOD OUTSIDE AND WATCHED THEM FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, BUT AFTER THAT IT ALL WENT SMOOTHLY. I ALSO LIKED HOW THE FOREMAN ASKED HOW I LIKED THE WORK SO FAR. HE CHANGED THINGS A LOT.
