Eddie came to our home and from the first moment we met him he was extremely polite and courteous.... He explained to us everything that he was doing while doing it, and we learned so much while he was in our home! We had electrical sockets that didn’t work, and electricity that had mysteriously stopped working in various areas. He fixed everything in about 2 hours and it’s been perfect since!!! I highly recommend High Q and Eddie is fantastic at what he does!!!

Arrived right on time-so friendly, polite and helpful with instructions for new thermostats. I have used High-Q in the past and will always call them and recommend them for all electrician needs.

I'm used to working with individual contractors; this is a small well-organized company, and really professional. They responded to my calls and emails within 24 hours. When Rafael came to see what work needed to be done, he made helpful suggestions. When Eddie came to do the work, he was on time, worked his way steadily through the long list of things to be done, and *also* made helpful suggestions - providing me with options for parts of the work. The charges were clearly laid out on an invoice. Highly recommended. I sent High Q's contact info to my neighbors.

We have had Ben fix, repair, install an assortment of lighting needs in our home in Verplanck over the past 18 months. Whether the job is big or small, simple or complex - he never backs down from the challenge! He is a pleasure to work with and if we are uncertain about some things, he will make suggestions.

Electrician Eddie arrived at 8:15 AM, before expected 8:30 AM arrival, and got right to work. Work included: Added a couple circuits for me in crawl space for dedicated appliances. Ran some wiring for new lighting in crawl space. Wiring was neat, stapled, and out of the way, as opposed to some of the wiring that was already in the space that simply ran in all directions. In kitchen, added circuit and outlet for garbage disposal and dishwasher. Cleaned up a few other lines to have dedicated lines for each large kitchen appliance. Replaced exterior outlet with GFCI and new outlet cover. Installed new porch light. Quickly troubleshot a set of lights that weren't working; turns out the switch went bad and replaced it with a new switch. Spent about 10 hours overall with a short break for lunch.

Ben was great. He completely re-wired a bathroom, putting the bathroom and new exhaust fan on a dedicated circuit. (Previously, bathroom on same circuit as several rooms). He was professional and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and Eddie arrived on time. He checked the outlet and found that it had current and thus was not the cause of the microwave dysfunction. Since he was in the neighborhood and the call was brief he checked with his boss and they did not charge for the call which was a lovely surprise. I have used them before and will definitely use them again.

Ben & Eto arrived during the scheduled time period and wasted no time in getting the job professionally completed. Competent, friendly and neat. They placed drop clothes down and wore shoe covers. They cleaned up completely at the end of the job. In hanging the large lantern light fixture to replace an old ceiling fan 12 ft high, they took the time to ensure that the fixture was hung at the height that I wanted. Finally I wish to mention Amanda from the office who was always friendly and helpful.

Ben came out, on time, and diagnosed and fixed the problem right away: the fuse switch needed replacement. We have used HighQ Electric for years, and they are outstanding: professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and customer-oriented. We recommend them highly.

Met the owner initially and was very impressed. He looked at the job and explained the process including what patch up work would be required since the ceiling in the lower level needed to be opened up. He said that for what we needed - it would be almost a full day of work and he would be scheduling two men for the installation. Scheduled the appt for the installers later on in the week. The professional work done by High Q Electric was second to none. Both men were punctual - efficient and effective. They explained that there may be some patch up work (as did the owner) to install the cable boxes in the closet and the job came out neater than we expected. Please note that we are extremely picky and wanted the least amount of disruption in our new townhouse. Many installers have the cable box hanging on the wall but we wanted to "only" have the TV - which requires more than meets the eye. I normally never write reviews but High Q Electric was so efficient that I had to share. We are planning to use them again for our third and final TV installation.
