The lighting in the kitchen cabinets is low voltage, and that wasn't working. The first two gentleman that came checked this and found it was defective. I called the company back after a week and spoke to Raphael who came over and took the part, and then said that he would come back and put it in. That was the last I have heard from him, and that was about three weeks ago. Update: Two representatives form High Q Electric arrived this morning and > completed the job. They said the company was closed for two weeks for > vacation. I explained to them that someone should be responsible for > returning phone messages and responding to emails. The men from High Q were very professional: they showed up when promised, performed their work efficiently, and there was no disruption to the household at all. Shortly after their appointment, they e-mailed me a new directory of my electrical panel. For years, whenever any electrical question came up, I struggled with trying to figure out which circuit breaker controlled what part of the house. It's a relief to have an accurate list now! I was very please with High Q's service, and expect to use them for other electrical work if needed in the future.

I used the circuit panel special and was very pleased with High Q's work. My old electrician now does only commercial work, so I was looking for a new residential electrician. My panel needed the work, and Rafael explained how and why my panel's were set up (home built in 1929, addition and new panel added in 2007). All good.

Very professional and pleasant. Great communication, would use them again.

Installers Eddie and Eto showed up as scheduled and were very courteous. They explained exactly how the winch would be installed and kept me informed the entire process. Rafael came by early to make sure all was being handled properly. The crew removed old chandelier, installed winch efficiently and neatly in attic. They worked with me on length of chain of the new chandelier and demonstrated to me fully how the winch worked both in the attic and at the key control pad. They made certain I was entirely happy before they left. The entire process took 5 hours. I was extremely pleased with the work done.

I called and the woman in the office recommended that they do an on-site inspection to provide a true estimate, which was scheduled for within 24 hours. Rafael came early on the day of estimate, which was great. He looked at one issue I wanted an opinion on, and advised against any work. There was no danger with the current setup, so he recommended we save our money. Then he looked at the main issue I needed work on. We didn't have a 4-prong outlet in the laundry room. The prior owners had hard-wired their machine and I didn't want to deal with that. He took a look, gave an estimate, and said he could get it done that afternoon. He called his associate, Eddie, and scheduled for Eddie to come over. Eddie got the work done that afternoon. Everything was done professionally and I have no complaints. I wouldn't hesitate to use High Q again.

The job was done quickly and easily with a minimum of disturbance to the flower beds. The men were very easy to work with and explained everything.

Extremely cooperative and efficient. Cleaned up and left home in the condition as if they were not even there.

They arrived promptly and conducted survey in competent and professional manner.

This job went really well. I called the morning of the job and Rafael immediately answered the phone. His prices are very fair and he fit me in the same day. The two guys that he sent to the job were very respectful of my house. They did a good job with the installation and cleaned up when they were done.

They did a good job. They were easy to work with. They were punctual and worked after hours. I would rate them highly and would absolutely use them again in the future if necessary.

****Edited to add: Wrote the review below more than month ago. There were a couple loose ends still to tie up, and though I was able to get in contact with the company once, and they said they were coming out that night (they ended up cancelling for an emergency,) it has been impossible to reach them ever since. I'm not sure if something happened with their phone, or if they're purposely ignoring me now that we're paid off. It's very disappointing, because we had a great experience and were so happy with the work. You're always warned as a homeowner that once you've paid in full, it's tough to get someone to come back out to look at the job they did (They installed piping in our wall to feed the wall-mounted TV cords through, and it's been virtually impossible to do on our own, plus there's a rogue cable wedged in one of the pipes.) ...and I really did not want to believe that with this particular company. We're very disappointed that we've been unable to reach them. I will continue reaching out, but don't have faith I'll have any luck unfortunately. Rafael did all the lighting in our new home, as part of an overall upgrade (with another contractor) we were doing before moving in. He installed new lights in 3 of our bathrooms, as well as put new covers on all our outlets, installed new light switches, put up our new chandeliers, and re-wired some stuff in our kitchen. He did everything very quickly and seamlessly, and we couldn't even tell he had been working there most days. We felt our kitchen was looking rather dreary, so asked if he could spruce up the lights in there. He took down the ceiling fan, and installed five high hats, which made the place look completely different and so much brighter/happier. The same goes for the rest of the house. His work on our lighting made the home look a million times better. He's very friendly and accomodating to working on weekends, and is affordable as well. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in Westchester looking for a professional, friendly, talented electrician, who also has a creative eye.

Cant say enough good things about High Q Rafael and his employees came in and did an amazing job, they are truly professionals at their trade Passed inspection on the first try unlike other electricians that i have had do work for me in that past. if your looking to get it done right the first time and have a good experience choose these guys you wont regret it.
