It went as expected. Very professional

The electrician arrived on time and reviewed the work to be done and then reviewed the pricing for his company. OVERALL, I gave him a B- / C+ for his work. PRICE: I should have asked the pricing ahead of time, while the quality was good his labor was overpriced. I did not get a competing estimate, my fault. QUALITY: All of the work he did was perfect except for leaving me with one outlet with an old beat-up cover. He had to go out and purchase supplies twice, there was no reason he could not purchase a new outlet cover - see PROFESSIONALISM. RESPONSIVENESS / PUNCTUALITY: Perfect PROFESSIONALISM: You need to be proud of your work so you don't leave a highly visible outlet with a ratty cover on it as an example of your work and then tell the customer who just spent $900 to go to Home Depot to pick one up and install it himself.

The fan was taken down and reinstalled, correcting the electrical connections and mount. The job was done very well and the fan is operating properly with no noises, wobbles, etc.

The service for the big deal from Mister Sparky was great. The cost was about 350 bucks and it wasn't cheap. They quoted me right upfront which is cool. He told me in advance that 'if we find it right away then it will only be like 150 but if it takes a while then it will be 350 including the discount from buying upfront from the Angie's List deal. I was happy with the service. The guy was professional. He was on time. It is a little pricy but I have got no problem with that. They were fantastic.

Punctual and the job was done as expected

I was relieved that the electrician knew what he was doing and explained why he needed to do the extra work. He was at my house for several hours, and the work involved drilling a hole in an adjoining wall to connect with another outlet. so I thought the $650 was a fair price. Most of all, I am glad for his professionalism and happy to know my house will not blow up because of a gas leak just because the previous homeowner wanted to save a few bucks.

In addition to not performing the safety review, I am now in possession of a paid voucher that I will either not use, or use for only one of the many jobs for which I requested an estimate. Prices quoted were very high, and did not account for multiple jobs being performed. I think it is reasonable to charge a fee for coming to the home, but that fee should be per visit, not per job. For example, each outlet change was listed as a separate job, instead of a base fee for the visit, plus labor/materials. $250 to change a light fixture is outrageous.

Technician is perfectly skilled but way to expensive. I had 5 outlets that needed work.. and if allowed them to work .. it would have cost me 400$

My experience with them went very good. Mister Sparky is always good. They do a good job. They're prompt. They come when they say they're going to come. They're very clean and courteous. They're excellent. They're expensive though, but they're probably expensive because they have all the equipment they need on the truck. You're paying for the service.

I found Mister Sparky through Angie's List and used them to hang two chandeliers. They were very professional and did a great job - they came to our house to do the estimate and were able to hang the chandeliers later that day. We used them again recently for more electrical work and they did a great job again. The electrician pointed out various fire hazards that were caused by the work that our previous electrician had done, so it was very helpful to have them come to the house. We will definitely use them in the future for other work! They are very responsive over the phone and showed up on time.

We had a electric outlet too close to our propane tanks. Called Mr. Sparky to have it sealed. Paul was very nice. The work was done quickly. We most definetely hire Mr. Sparky again.

The entire job took about 10 minutes, and was done while the circuit was "hot" and the wiring had already been exposed by us. Considering the resulting ease of installation and our supplying the outlet/switch, the price seemed high. However, the job was done correctly and quickly.

took about 1.5 hrs...i used a coupon from Mr Sparky..which save $43... Joe was very nice.. explained pricing.. and put on the red shoe covers as to not track in dirt...

He was punctual and did the job for the price he quoted.

We had a outdoor security light that was broken. We bought a new one at Lowe's to have installed, but we were told by Mr sparky that it was also broken. I think $186 is too high, but maybe that's what electricians get paid. I now have returned the light and Lowe's gave me a new one but I now need to have it installed. My son is now home and he said he will install it. I'm not paying another $186 to Mr sparky.

I couldn't be more please with the service I received. There was constant communication between the staff and myself regarding the appointment time and arrival time. Antoni the electrician who came was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. I know have a working fan and I know if I have need Mr. Sparky will be who I will call .

The installer (Uriel) arrived in the appropriate time slot. He was professional and gave me options for future electrical needs. I will definitely use them again. I will also recommend this company to anyone that asks me if I know of a reliable electrician!

I called Mr. Sparky due to the high reviews they received on Angie's List. When I called for an estimate for the job, they told me they could not give an estimate over the phone, which I was surprised about. I never heard of anyone not giving a rough estimate. They mentioned they had to look at the work involved, plus there would be a $59 charge for a service call. I figured how high could the price be anyway and made an appointment. When the electrician arrived, we were told there would be a $295 charge to hang the fixture. I thought the total of $346 to simply hang a fixture was completely exorbitant and refused the service, even though they gave us a 10% discount. I still had to pay a $57 plus service charge. I then called another electrician, who did the work for a grand total of $125, about one-third of what Mr. Sparky was charging. I think his prices are over the top and will never consider using them again. What a rip-off--they simply gouge you on the price--and this was a fairly cut and dried job, nothing difficult.

James did an excellent job. He called me t say he was on his way and arrived on time. He explained the cost to me and then he started the job. He did a very clean and efficient job. I am completely satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend Mr. Sparky.

Although I found the contractor who came to my home to be polite, I found that Mr. Sparky was too expensive. Although I purchased the service via a "big deal" listing on Angie's List, I was surprised that I had to pay nearly $200 extra to just for the installation of the chandelier, which took approximately one hour to install. When I inquired about installing a ceiling fan inside my living room, I was told that it would be no less than $700 to do so. Although I do have cathedral ceilings in my living room, I was surprised by the price quoted to me. I certainly did not call back Mr. Sparky, as I thought that price was, frankly, outrageous. To my great surprise I recently had another contractor install two ceiling fans, including one in my living room, for half that amount.

ttingThe work lasted 2 full days by 2 hard working and competent electricians. No problems have been experienced and everything seems to be working fine. Awaiting a city inspection of the work in Ft. Lauderdale in accordance with permitting

I hired Mister Sparky to replace an existing attic ventilation fan. This company has done quality work for me in the past. Paul a very professional electrician arrived on time gave me an estimate and starred the job. The job went well. I priced out this job on Home Advisor dot com, and on another web site. The average price for this job is listed at $500 with a high price of $842. Mister Sparky's price for this work was $98 higher then Home Advisors highest price for this job. I also priced this job on Homewyse with a price from $440 to $656. I found a deal from BQ Electric Inc on Angies List for the Installation of an Aluminum Attic Fan for $549.
