Barbara Barnagut was absolutely fantastic in performing repairs to old pipes and joints in our 90-year old family home which we were preparing to sell. She was candid about the repairs that were needed and the pros and cons of various repair approaches. She outlined a plan that would keep the costs as low as possible while effectively resolving the problems. It was important that I be able to trust her because the house was unoccupied and there was no one on-site to let her in/out of the house, show her around the home, or be present during the repairs. At every juncture, Barbara proved that she could be trusted; she respected our property and performed everything she said she would, always keeping me informed via calls, texts, and pictures of the completed repairs. I can't recommend her strongly enough. I live in Virginia and wish she did long-distance house calls!

Barbara is a personable and honest plumber. Exactly what my family was searching for. Her work was neat and clean. She provided options, and shared her honest thoughts with zero pressure! We'll definitely be hiring her again in the future. My kids (and even my neighbor) loved her lol. I was pleasantly surprised to see a woman working in a traditionally male dominated industry, and let me tell you, Barbara is THE REAL DEAL!

Not well at all. I was told the job would be completed in 7-10 days. I am writing this review 7 months later and the job is still not done. To date, i am waiting on an appropriate shower door, and a paint job to the wall that was damaged as a result of the work, Today, tiles began to fall off of the wall of the shower. Additionally, while all this is going on, I have been hounded for "final payment" even with the job not being completed. I will never use Barnagat plumbing again!!!

Because I live in an old house, this project presented some unique challenges. However, Barbara dealt with the situation very professionally and did an amazing job. She kept to her quoted price even though she needed to come back a second time to finish the work (through no fault of her own). She is very honest, professional, communicates well and responded to my calls very timely. I would definitely use Barnagat Plumbing again. It was a pleasure working with this company.

Everything was completed and works great! The only problem was due to an emergency call Barbara did not arrive for several hours after the appointment we set, she did keep in contact to let me know her status.

All went very well. Plumbing is from the 1930's and changing the washers is very difficult. She worked diligently with the old plumbing and got the job done. I believe most plumbers would complain and want to rip out the plumbing that is recessed into the wall making the job a monumental task and extremely expensive.

Very well satisfied and we have no hesitation to use her services again.

Excellent work. I contacted Barbara and she quoted a price. After she arrived, right on schedule, she required at a lower price. Her work was clean, neat, courteous and efficient.

Barabara was fantastic. She was fast and did quality work. She was also very accommodating when the scope of the project grew beyond what was originally discussed and went the extra mile to repair the vanity (replacing valves, p-trap, etc.). I also really appreciated that she took the time to explain everything she was doing and give advice as to what repairs were and were not necessary. I have used many plumbers in the past. Barbara was by far the best and the most pleasant to deal with. I tend to give good ratings, but Barbara deserves an A+++++, not just an A.

I had a leak under the kitchen sink. I scheduled an appointment with Barbara. She came promptly. It turned out that the leak had actually stopped and it was a matter of do I want to replace everything now or wait. There was no pressure. Barbara was fantastic! She said that it could wait, the choice was mine. Again, no pressure. I decided to wait - but as silly as it sounds, I look forward to her coming back when the time comes. I highly recommend Barnagat Plumbing and am very thankful to Angie's list for endorsing such a reputable company.

Wish I could give an A+? She is absolutely the best plumbers available in my vicinity. Very down to earth & just gets the job done.

It was not inexpensive, but maybe from the point-of-view of plumbing, the price was a good price.

She quickly identified the problem as water from the shower getting in around the faucet and running down to the basement. She suggested replacing the shower head to eliminate the issue, noting that we could easily do that ourselves. Since it was a simple issue, she only charged for half a service visit.
