They seemed to be pretty good, at first. However, I had to eventually find someone else to come and fix their repairs, because it kept leaking. They were not responsive to my complaints. I would not recommend them, based on their follow-up.

Barbara was very friendly and professional. The job was more extensive than anticipated (the blockage was too far for the snake to reach). She had to cut the pipe in order to reach the blockage and even then it was very difficult to reach due to the strange way my pipes were configured. Barbara told me up front how much the additional work would cost and wouldn't give up until the problem was solved. I will definitely use her again

I called Barnagat Plumbing on a Friday morning and explained the problem we were having over the phone. I was able to make an appointment for the following Monday. Barbara showed up promptly and was very nice. I brought her to our bathroom, and showed her our shower which had the leaky faucet. She explained three courses of action we could take, each one more complex and expensive then the next. Our shower is original to the house circa 1940s. After talking with her we came up with what we thought was the best course of action, and she didn’t try and force the most expensive fix on us. After beginning her work and actually seeing the state of our plumbing she suggested we go with the simpler and less expensive fix. She ended up replacing the washers in each of the faucet handles, instead of replacing both of the stems. She informed us that because of the age of the plumbing that there was no guaranty that the fix would work or last, but after about a month of usage the faucet is still working properly.

Barbara the plumber arrived when she said she would, gave me a reasonable estimate and went right to work. Some of the work was in a difficult to access area. Barbara had all the parts and tools necessary in her truck. Barbara finished the job and cleaned up the work area. I have used Barnegat plumbing before and have always been pleased with Barbara's work. Barnegat is first on my list to call for a plumbing job.

She was very helpful to me. I called on a Sunday and she called me back within 30 minutes. She informed me they would not be able to do that work for me but recommended another company to do the work.

Barbara returned my call and came to my house in the same day. She got right to work, snaked the tub and the shower and after realizing that the leaky toilet needed parts, she ran out, picked them up, and fixed the leak quickly and neatly. We made arrangements to have her return on another day to fix a running toilet and a dripping kitchen faucet. I didn't want to have to replace the kitchen faucet because it is solid brass and porcelain and would be tough to replace or replicate. When she returned she said that because the kitchen faucet was so old and didn't have a brand name stamped on it, she was worried that the part might be impossible to find. Still, she kindly offered to take a piece of the faucet to someone who is an expert in identifying brands and such, and hopefully then be able to fix the problem. She never needed to get that far. After some turning of a wrench, the dripping appeared to have stopped and we were both delighted. Then she also took a look at an outside faucet that I had just noticed was dripping rather steadily the day before, so she addressed that as well. All in all I was extremely satisfied with the quality of Barbara's work, her work ethic, and with her obvious desire to "get it right". She goes about her work quickly and leaves the place neat and dry. I certainly will not hesitate to call on Barnagat Plumbing again should the need ever arise in the future.

HIGHEST MARKS to Barbara the Plumber. Barbara showed up on time, gave an accurate estimate and went right to work cleaning out what I deemed to be a very difficult drain problem.

This is a FEMALE plumber. She's very nice and efficient. We called her because of a chronically stopped-up drain, and she came in about half an hour. She quickly figured out what to do, and completely fixed the drain. My elderly mother loved her, and she even stopped to chat with her for a while. I have used her in the past as well.
