Description of Work: We had a bathtub that was draining very slowly. Barbara removed the stopper to clear the hair from the drain and then snaked the pipe. It was the hair which had caused the slow draining because there was very little material on the length of the snake when Barbara retracted it. She recommended that we not reinstall the factory stopper and to install a mesh hair trap instead. We were satisfied with the service but feel that $150 is on the high end.

Description of Work: No service was performed based on plummers own recommendation. After inspection, the plummer concluded that the present work was satisfactory and that the alteration I had sought was not necessary. | |Since service providers do not ordinarily turn down an oppprtunity to earn revenue, I preceived Ms. Barnagat's recommendation as a sign of ethical responsibility. Based on that perception, I would indeed use her services in the future.

Description of Work: I had a metal pipe under the kitchen sink that had rotted through and needed to be replaced. |Very happy with the job from Barnagut....No leaks since the pipe was replaced, The lady from Barnagut was on time and quickly fixed the problem. The cost was fair and was the amount I expected to pay for this repair ($180)... No surprises. I recommend.

Description of Work: She fixed a gas leak that was in a tricky location above my gas meter. She quoted me a price that was way less than what another plumber quoted. She was straight forward, professional, and didn't try to sell me projects i didn't need. I even called her later to get advice on more repairs and she told me that what i thought needed fixing actually probably wasn't the problem and instructed me on how to go about fixing the real issue, essentially telling me that the plumbing was not the problem. I will definitely be calling her back for any other projects.

Description of Work: My tenant thought he had a leak and and low pressure in the bathroom sink.I called Barbara (Barnagat) who arrived on time a couple of days later as requested.She checked carefully for a leak but determined it was coming from the faucet itself and down from there ,adressed the low pressure issue and determined the cheap but decorative Home Depot (China made) faucet was the problem and removed it.She then installed a Moen faucet I had purchased months prior.The sink is a pedestal type with little clearance to the wall behind making it a difficult extraction/replacement. She worked quickly but efficiently and was done in record time.The sink is fine having checked it myself and my tennant is happy as well. Barbara is a true professional with over twenty years of experience in this area.I'd recommend her strongly for anyone needing her services and and have already.Of note she is one of only two plumbers on the "list" in the surrounding area that is both bonded & insured. I found her honest and dedicated to good work.
