Todd and his team did an excellent job on a complicated project. Our cathedral ceiling was never properly air-sealed or insulated. They sealed all the air infiltration points and blew dense cellulose insulation into the rafter bays. To do this type of work, attention to detail is critical, as is an understanding of building science.

Todd did an energy audit with a blower test to see all the places we could improve and to come up with a plan. We ended up having insulation added in the attic, along with additional attic, rim joist, duct, and basement air sealing. Everything was well explained and documented, which is definitely nice for things that you never looked at prior. They also dealt with our less than tidy basement while performing the work without issue. Communication was great and we weren't constantly getting bumped or rescheduled. Todd even came back to close up a few gaps that formed after the initial work. Happy to have a local company around to perform this type of service!

Todd installed two bathroom vanities and a light fixture. One vanity was able to be recessed, so he had to cut into an existing wall and frame the vanity. He was back on the next business day to finish installing the second vanity. Todd kept the work areas neat, and texted pictures of his progress (as I had to be at work). I found Stallmer & Sun Energy Efficiency Specialists, LLC to be affordable, dependable, and trustworthy.

Todd & Greg came to reinsulate the attic, fixing any air leaks and gaps with cellulose and foam insulation in the basement around the rim joist. Todd was very responsive to initial phone calls and coming to the house to do an evaluation. They were good in explaining issues and taking pictures to document them. The work they did was complete and thorough and left every night by cleaning the respective areas. As a result of their work we are now experiencing a warmer and more comfortable home to live in.

Completely re-modeled our kitchen. Removed 2 walls, laid new flooring, new lights and outlets, installed custom cabs, re-positioned sink, and tiled the backsplash. Completely transformed our old drab kitchen into something bright and new. They communicated with us during all phases of the project and never made us feel pressured. Their finished work is immaculate. Not even the smallest detail is overlooked. These guys know what they are doing and they do it well. We would 100% recommend it.

These guys completely transformed our laundry room. Took out a closet, moved the washer and dryer, installed tile flooring, and built gorgeous custom cabinets. It's the best room in the house. They worked on schedule, consulted us on design ideas, etc. I can't recommend them more.

Stallmer & Sun Energy Efficiency Specialists, LLC were efficient, knowledgeable, extremely professional and capable with our whole house insulation project.

Todd Stallmer is very good. He is the only energy efficiency professional who diagnosed the problems with the insulation in our home properly. He did a thorough evaluation, recommended solutions, and did a great job with fixing the issues that he identified. Our blower door test went from ~2000 Cfm before his fixes to ~1100 Cfm after his fixes. That is a great improvement. The only reason why I did not give a 5 star review is that his partner did not do the promised weatherstripping the first time around. If I had not looked carefully I would have completely missed it but would have ended up paying for it because it was included in the estimate. But once I identified that it had not been done. Todd came to our home a few days later and completed the weatherstripping of all windows. Our home does feel better now after his insulation work. I would highly recommend Todd for fixing your home energy efficiency issues.
