I would highly recommend Todd Stallmer and company. they exceeded our expectations. He is very familiar with NYSERDA regulations and programs and was able to provide us with a better program benefit than originally thought. "very professional company.

Received a quote on the work, which was to remove a leaking half stack chimney and repair the walls and roof. Once I approved the work, it was started and completed in the time estimated. Any deviations from the stated work were thoroughly explained and I was given the options and costs to make a decision. Working with Contractors can sometimes be a unpleasant experience but this isn't the case working with Todd and his Crew.

Todd and his team were professional, experienced, and competent. They patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns. Rather than rushing when surprises arose, they took the time needed to get the job done right. Would highly recommend.

Todd was the 2nd contractor I interviewed for the project and hands down understood the project scope (adding attic vents and insulation, sealing openings, creating an insulated storage area in the attic and the pull down stairs, added blown in to north and west walls which was greatly needed, and finished filling sill box cavities in the basement. As this is a 100+ year old farm house with all its charm Todd, Shawn and crew were very respectful and tidy. I was especially impressed with his NYSERDA knowledge and streamlining the application process and the FederalTax Information greatly helping with final costs. He even rescheduled around a death in our family. Price was very Fair. Would highly recommend Stallmer and Sun.

I selected Stallmer and Sun based upon their certification from the NYS Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). The program involves a free energy audit and subsequent work to prepare a home for heating with a heat pump. Heat pumps are low energy consumption with attendant low heat output. To ensure comfort the building envelope has to be as energy efficient as is practicable. Todd Stallmer used an infrared camera to find that our first floor rim board was not well sealed. Also, the floor penetrations for wires and plumbing were allowing cold air and moisture to migrate up through our living space. I think he went out of his way to see that we received the subsidy from NYS which cut our costs by about 2/3 rds. Our house feels warmer with no change to our thermostat setting.

Very high quality work. Our project was inspected by a third party for compliance with the NYSERDA Comfort Homes Program. The inspector was impressed with the quality and completeness of the work. I would definitely recommend them for your insulation job.

We purchased a 150 year old farm house in the Adirondacks. Needless to say insulation was needed! We asked around and multiple people recommended Stallmer and Sun. Todd and Greg are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and professional. The house is warm and cozy. Highly recommend.

Fantastic finished product and they were also very knowledgeable in knowing, not just what needs to be done, but also how you (the consumer) can save money on the project via rebates and deductions. Additionally (and this may seem like a little thing, but), they were fantastic about cleaning up their workspace everyday so that you could not even tell that they were there. The only contractors I've ever worked with that paid attention to that. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Just a great experience, through and through, beginning to end.

They did a wonderful job cleaning up, which I did not expect them to do...very conscientious and thorough. I would highly recommend them!!

Him and his son came to complete the insulation needs at my house, completed the job as discussed, were very respectful of my space, and made sure to clean up the entire space like they were not even there. I hired Todd to insulate the outside floors of an add on. Todd kept a open line of communication, if I had any questions or need clarification on something he was willing to explain. Not once did I feel like I was asking to many questions. He provided before and after pictures. Todd cleans up after himself. I will recommend him to anyone.

Our experience was good . Organize, clean , on time

Todd is very knowledgeable and I found him to be very honest . I hired him to insulate my home since a home energy audit stated I had little to no insulation in my walls. Turns out I had dense packed fiberglass in most areas . Todd checked my home and added insulation where he could. He could have told me he filled my walls and charged me the original price and I would not have known the difference since I was not present. He did a great job adding insulation to my attic. It made a big difference in how my second floor feels this winter. I found his price to be more than fair as well. Overall I would recommend his company.

Very neat and respectful of my house. They made sure to wear mask all the time. They put plastics to the floors where they go back and forth. They left my house clean after their work. Price is very reasonable and Todd is very considerate.
