It went great! The agent showed up on time. Was very professional and informative.

Internet connection went down at 5:31PM. Contacted Cablevision/Optimum Online at 5:51PM. They became aware of the problem at 5:33PM and had a technician on site (one happened to be in the area) at 5:42PM, before I even called! Total downtime was only 1 hour 20 minutes. In general, their responsiveness is EXTREMELY fast when calling. I almost never have to wait on hold, and they have technicians out to fix problems very quickly.

It went well, we have our phone and fax service running. It was evening and raining, plus we live in the woods. So this young man wore plastic covering on his feet. Which I am very happy about, because I clean enough. He closed the door when I mentioned the cats and accepted a small gratuity from us, in a kind manner. Yes we would use Optimum's services again, never had any troubles with their agents.

Refuses to come to house and replace cable boxes

The remote wouldn't work. They came and fixed the problem and sent a new remote.

Internet is pretty reliable. The speed is acceptable for all normal needs. Could be a little cheaper.

I called the provider to see if I can get a better deal for the package (triple) I am paying for. They managed to throw in Showtime and Starz networks for free and resolved my questions in a professional manner.

There is a monthly surcharge for sports programming. It was $2.98 and now went to $4.98 per month. Since I am not interested in sports programming, I requested that I not be charged this fee. I was informed that it is mandatory. If that is the case, then I feel it should be included in the monthly charge, and it it continues as a separate charge, then I fell I should be able to opt out.

The service has been worse lately...the guide for the cable tv goes out all the time. The price keeps going up. There is a monopoly, so I have no other choice; my apartment is not situated well for dish tv

It was relatively painless. Our house had been wired previously - this was simply a service re-connect. We had cancelled our cable television service due to price increases, and because the cable company bundles television, internet and telephone it was a difficult decision to invite them back after adopting alternative services. But due to a heavily discounted promotion, we re-connected. The technician simply installed the two set top boxes and made sure everything worked.

The service man was very nice and very efficient. Cable TV is a utility and should be treated as such.

Diagnosed problem with connectivity. Difficult to get pass automated diagnostics.

They have a window between 11 am and 2 pm. He arrived at 4:15 pm. The service person Martin was very professional. He said there is a lot of noise due to loose connections. He changed all the connectors, tested and left. Now my internet is flying!!! Awesome work. Great Professionalism.

There technician came and installed a modem and the wireless unit for me. He was very knowledgeable. I've been using it since.

Exceptionally well.Their were 2 young men-one was in training but I never would have known if I wasn't told that. They were both very polite and did a great cleanup job. In fact so good I sent a message to Optimum to let them know how pleased I was. They even took extra time to give my internet a check even though I had no problem with it. If only all service men were so nice. :-)

I've been with them several years on and off. They're good when it comes to the internet. They gave me an option like having the basic speed or the faster speed. I get the right package. I talk to them and negotiate. Not everyone gets the same pricing. You have to look for the specials. They're responsive when I call them up for any questions or if I wanted to hook up a TV when I have issues. They're attentive to that. The professionalism is what should be. The thing about the internet service is fine. I have no problems with it. They have other features and benefits. They have special programs to keep the customers happy. For example, every Tuesday I can get two tickets to a movie. With them, I have the ability to see the cable TV. They gave me a free DV-R box. I can record my movies. Some of that will go away at the end of the year. I will have to pay extra. I have four cable boxes and they gave me two free boxes. They have no contract.

I think they are fine; they are professional.

The internet speed is slow and I am okay with it. The landline service is good. I have long-distance and that is pretty good. I have all the premium channels with the television. The only problem is that the internet is slow but everything else with the service on the TV and phone is pretty good.

While the service had been generally okay, it was nothing stellar. I had issues in the past with poor signals and not all TV channels available all the time. Phone would drop off or I would get a circuits are all busy. With the past major storm, Hurricane Sandy, the straw was broke. After repeatedly calling that my service was down, I finally rummaged through the woods and splice together my own lines to restore service. Albeit the lines are still on the driveway and on the ground through the woods. Finally a couple different repairmen came by but said that the construction crews would need to rehang the feeder cables, at which point they would return to correctly fix my connection and rehang the line to my home. To be fair, my frustration built over a four week period so I was giving Cablevision some time as it was a major storm. This week after repeated promises that they would escalate the issues to the construction crews and have supervisors call me back, I made the call and have made arrangements to be switched to Verizon FIOS. I will be locked in for two years, with faster internet and far more TV channels. The kicker, my bill will be $43 per month cheaper ($145) and I get a $300 gift card. While I realize that I may end up having the same issue with Verizon one day, Cablevision had their opportunity to keep a long time client but they totally screwed it up. I know LIPA took allot of heat, well deserved I may add, Cablevision was equally as poor. Only difference is I can fire Cable, not LIPA!

I have been using them for many, many years. They are the only company that provides the channel I like, especially, Westchester News. The channel selection is okay but I don't particularly like their service because they don't seem to be able to find the trouble in the first shot all the time.

I went with them because they gave me a discount. The service is very good, I haven't had any problems. They provide good signal quality. When they installed it, they came at the time they were supposed to.

The boxes they provide burn out pretty quickly, but I take them to the place and they replace them for me with no problem. I have no complaints about them, but I do think they are overpriced.

I have been with them for the past 10 years. If you live out here, they are the only ones available for TV. They provide a good service.

I'm satisfied with the services I'm receiving. I give them all As for the work that they have done for me so far. I plan to continue using them in the future.
