Leader Electric was wonderful to work with. Neil spent time over he phone to explain the scope of work and they were able to send an electrician out the next day. Our electrician, Hans, was great. He was professional and very friendly. He did a nice job dropping new cables from the circuit breaker into our kitchen and minimized the number of holes in the ceiling/drywall. I would definitely recommend them!

My building could not fix the problem so I called this company and they got the job done!

Great! The technician (Hans) arrived on time, was very thorough and professional, and answered all our questions. Scheduling was very easy--even after we had to re-schedule the day before our original appointment. Everyone we dealt with by phone or email was helpful and courteous.

It went perfectly fine. The outlet was installed as expected. The electrician was very professional, came on time, did a good job in installing and cleaned up after he was done.

The electrician was meticulous and finally traced the source of the program to a series of wire/cables behind my old dishwasher and - unfortunately - sink. He tried to access the wires by pulling out my dishwasher BUT there were support boards or planks blocking his access. He tried everything he could but could not get to the wires. He went above and beyond what he needed to do and when he explained what the problem was he was just as disappointed as I was. I needed a contractor to pull out my sink and dishwasher to access the wires. He could not go further but was ready to correct the problem. He wanted to do it right and felt only pulling out the sink/dishwasher would give him the access he needed to do work that would last another 30-40 years. My home is old - over 80 years - and built very well. And some of the electrical work is hard to trace as the work was done so long ago. I will keep everyone posted. Have to get a contractor. The electrician did not charge me more. He wanted to leave me with a definitive answer to my problem and did. I LOVE THESE GUYS.

They did everything. They charged an additional 2 hours. One hour was spent figuring out a part that came with a smoke alarm - that took exactly an hour. I didn't like the additional charge. By the time they talked and finished, you were charged for work for 4 hours that should have been done in 3.

Hans came to my home 2 times. Both times he was on time, professional, polite, clean and always had my best interest in mind. He had to install a massive chandelier today and he took his time figuring out the best way to make it work. He was very careful to leave me with as little holes as possible. He had to snake wires all the way across the room and I have only 2 tiny spots to patch up. Hans made a tough job look effortless and easy. I hope he comes back every time. I would recommend Hans to anyone and everyone.

Exceptionally well. The electrician was very clear about the process for identifying the short because the only thing that was obvious was that we had no lights: questions like 'where was the short', 'why it shorted' , etc., - it was going to take some time. It started with the light bulbs, type of light bulb and went to the wiring of the overhead light. I was worried that it meant rewiring in our walls but it turned out to be a problem with out chandelier and the age of the original wiring. But what made this electrician GREAT was that he understood that we could not be left without lights in our dining room 2 days before Thanksgiving. He identified the problem but refused to leave us without lights while waiting for someone to rewire our old chandelier. He went to Home Depot for us and got us a lovely overhead light that served us well through out the Thanksgiving holiday. If fact it was so nice that we have continued to use the light.

They showed up within a couple hours, and completed the job quickly and professionally. Will definitely use again.

Great first experience with Paul @ Leader Electric --scheduled me in quickly- within a couple days. Hans was great onsite. checking wiring and some small items. But Hans made me feel like I was in good hands, explaining the problem, the fix and creatively problem solving the fix. I would definitely hire them again. Price was fair and no surprises. And the 10% off from Angie's list was a great bonus. 2 hrs of work for about $300

Rip-off. Angie's list sells a coupon for $ 362 for 2 hours of work. The Leader electric company only charges $ 270 for 2 hours of work. They did not refund the difference. MESSAGE: don't buy coupons from Angie's list. You are overpaying! This practice by Angie's list should be illegal. Lights flicker starting 24 hours after dimmer placed. Electric company says this happens with LED lights. Why then did they install the dimmer? This was a waste.

Service was good, they did a really good job. However, there was some issues with billing. We paid cash then a month or two later we got a call that there was still a bill. After some emails the issue was solved.

Having personally worked in this industry for most of my life I was willing to pay the premium with expected a professional job I received the exact opposite... they were deceitful and conniving throughout the entire project... I have no electricity in my dining room or my second bedroom in my apartment is only 1200 square feet I've paid them over $13,000 already and and the job is not even if 25 percent complete... now they're trying to collect another $10,000 from me which is more than the agreed-upon contract and it's become legal.... the incompetence lies and deceit are beyond comprehension

Leader did such a good job when they did the house in the Summer. They were very, very good. They came when they said they were coming. They got the job when they said they were going to get the job done. We're happy.

I emailed this vendor on 4/09/16 in the am and in the pm. Today 4/13/16 I never heard from them, if the job was too small I could understand that but at least be courteous and let a potential customer know.

I was very disappointed with their service and would not recommend Leader Electric to anyone. The first electrician just came and changed the light bulb without investigating the problem. When I called to complain, Paul said he would send over someone else. They did and this man said it was the transformer and would come back at another date/time with the proper transformer. The third time, it was a different electrician who got on the phone with Paul after he took a look at the situation and said it wasn't the transformer but the actual light itself. They just burn out within a month. I was told they would suggest a different type of light for my cabinet but never heard from them. So after 3 appointments and a waste of my time and my money, my cabinet light is still out. Was very disappointed in this company. Very unprofessional and I have no trust in their skills or expertise. Very surprised that they made it to Angie's List with this kind of service.

Overall the service was good, but not consistently because the first electrician sent was not very communicative and billed me for two hours instead of the 1.5 actual hours worked. I addressed this to the company and they immediately corrected the bill and made available an alternate electrician for the second job. The latter job was efficient and the technician very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

They were very prompt and I'm very satisfied with the company. They are very clean and cleaned up after themselves.
