Jeiza (the house cleaner) was very nice, professional, and responsive. The cleaning was very thorough. We would definitely use her again.

I thought that Apolonia was extremely professional and I appreciated her follow-up after the job was executed. The cleaning woman was there before the scheduled time and waited at the apartment for me to arrive. I really like the fact that even though the cleaning woman waited, a short period, for me to arrive at the apartment, it wasn't me waiting on her. Upon entering the apartment, an assessment of the potential job was taken and then I was given a quote. After the quote, I was able to continue on with my day and was given a time frame of when the job would be done for me to do a walk through with the cleaniing woman. Overall, I was very happy with the work that was done. The apartment I moved out of received a thorough cleaning and now awaits the next tenant.

I dealt almost exclusively with Sashani and found her to be very pleasant and professional. The representative showed up exactly when they said she would. The job took longer than estimated and I needed to point out one or two things that had been over-looked, but they were rectified without complaint. Something had been broken during the cleaning, but she brought it to my attention immediately. Overall, she did a nice job.

The came in and took a tour, figured out who would do what, and worked like h*** to get it done. The bathrooms were spotless, the dust was gone from the ceiling light fixtures, they were very gentle around fragile artwork and musical instruments, and the whole place just looked great.

It was a lot of work as it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The worker never stopped for a second, never took a drink of water and did a great job. I w as thrilled!

Excellent service. Katrina and Duane arrived on time (despite a snowstorm) and were polite and professional. The job took about 5 hours. Everything looked great when they finished.

They never had a time that was available and good for both them and me. They discouraged me from even waiting to have the work done or do it in the future. I was unhappy with my interaction with them so I had someone else do the work. It seemed like they were not interested in my big deal.

Katrina was my cleaning associate and I loved her. I plan on asking for their assistance on a repeat basis once my get my finances in order! Basically, I had moved into a studio apartment in NY and the building had not done much cleaning other than sweeping before I moved in. I tried cleaning the place my self several times from swiftering to dusting to clorox wiping, etc. It was still a dusty mess! (I don't think the previous renter cleaned.) COST: Anyways, I called IDEAL and told them I'm thinking of buying the coupon on Angie's list for $360 for a cleaning of my studio apartment. The receptionist actually told me NOT to! She said that if I have a studio apartment, it will definitely not go over $300 (especially if I have done sessions of cleaning by myself)! Talk about integrity. I was very impressed. Because of my worry, they scheduled me for medium/deep cleaning but ended up charging me on the medium basis and the cost was half of what I assumed. SERVICES: Katrina was prompt, professional, and I might even say motherly. She has a son in my generation and understood my situation when I told her, I'm just trying to get my home livable before I start working long hours. She cleaned the bathroom, kitchen, dusted and cleaned all the windows (7!), vacuumed and swiftered. Places where she went above and beyond: - In the kitchen, she told me of three leaks to tell my super. - She also gave me advice about dealing with my super, who had been comfortable not providing certain services because of my polite/younger nature. With her advice, I had the super come and fix everything and even promise to fix a longer-standing problem within a week! - She also reorganized my kitchen area to give me more counter space. CONCLUSION: - I am definitely calling them again for Katrina's help when I get overwhelmed...which looks like it will be soon.

The results of the initial cleaning were amazing, especially as they helped organize a lot of clutter as well. The whole house sparkled. Although the cost is higher than some others charge, they really do an excellent job, and are very professional. Today was the third regular visit, and I have to say I really look forward to the clean fresh house they leave each time. I highly recommend Ideal Cleaning Services.

The worker arrived on time and fully equipped to do the job. She worked tirelessly and cleaned the entire apartment in a few hours. She checked with me as to my preferences and how I wanted tasks done. She did a great job. I would use this company again.

I was just so impressed with them. They communicated clearly with me about every step of the process-- telling me the time that my service provider would come (and they did! at the time they said they would!) and walking me through the cleaning before getting down to business. They emailed me a time estimate and kept to the time estimate. I had made a mistake and thought that they would be bringing the supplies, and they were totally understanding and helped me quickly put together the cleaning supplies they needed and called me to make sure it hadn't been their error (it hadn't!). When I got home, I was really impressed-- they cleaned EVERYTHING thoroughly, including inside my fridge. I will definitely be using them again in my next apartment, and I wholeheartedly recommend Ideal!

They never called/ left message to confirm date, Despite what they claimed. In addition, I received this email telling me they would be too busy, do to landing a new account. " Terrible professionalism! Email- We recently landed a large account. Therefore, for the next few weeks, we will be solidly booked and will not be able to schedule you for service, as this is an ongoing project. Neither are we able to book you months in advance, as your coupon expires 3 months from purchase date, so I do suggest that you get a refund from Angie's List. The cleaner arrived promptly & did a fantastic job cleaning the apartment & making sure that it was move-in ready for our furniture. I only wish that it would be possible to set up a regular cleaning service with this company at our apartment in Long Island. I highly recommend this service. Apolonia is very accommodating and does a great job making sure you are happy with the services you receive.

The service is very good, we are very impressed with them. They are much better than any other cleaning service we have used. It's one of the cheapest services we have had so its a very good value. We highly recommend them.

Booking with Ideal was easy and quick. Our cleaner arrived promptly and did an excellent job. She was deep-cleaning an empty apartment that we were moving into. She was very thorough. The place looked great! I would hire Ideal again in a heartbeat.

The apartment is probably 100 years old, or close to it. Between the neglect and the incompetent pseudo-improvements, it needed work. The renovations are a success but the dust was lunar. Sashani, who greets new customers, was calm and competent when I was anxious and overwhelmed. She problem solved continually. For less than half the cost quoted by a competitor, my apartment is ready for me to move in.

They had attention to detail, and they were very sensative. They specialize in hoarding and clutter, so I was really relying on their good service and professionalism. The owner was outstanding in every regard, returning emails and phone calls quickly. She was very outstanding all-around.

They did a fabulous job! They were very knowledgeable. I was very impressed. She showed up on time and she didn't need any supervision. I've already asked for them to come back. They were very pleasant and made it very easy to get the appointment made. The woman that came in was Patricia, and she was very pleasant and terrific to work with. While she was here they even emailed me to make sure the appointment was going alright. The owner called me back moments after I called and set the appointment up for me. They made it so easy for me and that is not easy to find in New York City. The next day the office called to make sure everything had gone well. I even left my wedding ring on my night table and she even dusted it for me! I thought that was so sweet! I cannot speak highly enough of them and their customer service is excellent.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do and did it at a reasonable price. Absolutely top notch!

Pettrina arrived before 9 a.m. (the scheduled time). She is a friendly professional - with a bright smile but not given to standing around chatting. I had the supplies ready for her and she was appreciative of the quantities available. She spent about 20 minutes inspecting the house, taking pictures and coordinating with Appolonia Edwards. She estimated the amount of time to be about 7 hours. This was up from my initial estimate of 5 hours but I must say that the house required so much work that even seven hours did not prove enough. Pettrina was very thorough and I learned a lot in terms of inspecting a room for dirt from her. She managed to find dirty nooks and corners in between window hinges - a place that I would never have inspected. She scrubbed the bathroom walls which had some gummy residue on them and the bathtub where the jacuzzi fittings were grimy. She finished up with the kitchen (cleaning the cupboards (outside and inside), cleaning the oven,the stove and the refrigerator and of course cleaning behind these appliances. She mentioned products that would let me do the job more efficiently and that has been useful in the days since the cleaning. I have a basement apartment to be cleaned and I will certainly be calling Appolonia Edwards and requesting that Pettrina be sent to help. Appolonia, herself was very professional and worked with me regarding faxing back the approval for the invoice. ( My scanner malfunctioned and so I could not scan and send the form. The terms of service were clearly explained ahead of time and I was given choices in terms of time and the supply of materials. Thank you Pettrina and Appolonia.

So-so! The cleaning was not bad but, the service over the phone was rude, hostile and uninformed.

I cannot endorse Ideal Cleaning enough!!! Our home needed serious professional attention and Ideal Cleaning was a godsend. We were facing the overwhelming task of readying the home of our aging mother with borderline hoarding tendencies who was returning home after being displaced by hurricane Sandy. Everything needed a deep cleaning!! I had a very good feeling from my first conversation to discuss our needs. I can honestly say that throughout the planning, scheduling and most importantly the lengthy cleaning day, I was blown away by the courtesy, efficiency, professionalism and attention to detail displayed by every member of Ideal Cleaning team. Ideal Cleaning is as good as it gets!

Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Ideal Cleaning. Apolonia, the main contact, was incredibly responsive and helpful. She answered all of my questions ahead of time (this was our first time hiring someone to clean our apartment) and checked in regularly throughout the hours that the house cleaner was there. The maid was very nice--prompt, orderly, very professional--and did everything we asked. She even gave us a few tips about upkeep that we could do on our own, which was fantastic. Our apartment looks spotless--I would definitely hire Ideal again.
