They are a good firm to have in the rolodex in an emergency and to contact on routine plumbing work. In the three times that we have had an experience with them, we were satisfied. However, before they begin any work they make a pitch for you to sign a service contract. The first time it was sort of okay but it got old. They seem to be more focused, initially, on this then on the work. Also when I asked for an estimate for replacing our old furnace, they gave me exactly what I had asked for, rather than offer an alternative or suggest other possible solutions. We finally went with Daniel Cadotte because he made several suggestions that we had not thought about. We immediately felt comfortable with him.

JOHN, AND HIS ASSISTANT, WERE POLITE, AND ON TIME. HOWEVER I FEEL COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF BY HUB. WE HAD RUST IN OUR WATER HEATER. JOHN SAID HE COULD DO A POWER FLUSH FOR OVER $800 OR REPLACE THE HEATER FOR $1900. HE STATED HE WAS 95% SURE THE FLUSHING WOULD WORK. BOTH QUOTES SEEMED EXTREMELY HIGH, BUT WE WERE UNDER TIME PRESSURE AND AGREED TO THE FLUSHING. THEY SPENT 2 1/2 HOURS ON THE JOB. AT THE TIME THE RESULTS LOOKED GREAT. HE SAID THEY COULD NOT WARRANTY THE WORK UNLESS WE INSTALLED A WHOLE-HOUSE FILTER. WITHIN 24 HOURS THE WATER QUALITY WAS WORSE THAN EVER. IT TOOK 3 DAYS TO GET A RETURN VISIT, AND THE PLUMBERS (DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES) WHO CAME SAID THEIR BEST OFFER WAS TO TAKE $400 OFF THE PRICE OF INSTALLATION. ANOTHER PLUMBER QUOTED ME UNDER $1000 TO REPLACE THE HEATER. I FEEL LIKE I LITERALLY THREW $800 DOWN THE DRAIN.

HE CAME WITHIN THE TIME HE SAID HE WOULD, AND IT WAS 10:30 PM. HE WAS POLITE BUT AFTER FIXING THE FURNACE HE STILL WANTED TO REPLACE SOME PART WHICH WOULD HAVE COST ME ADDITION $800. THESE PARTS WERE STILL IN GOOD SHAPE. I JUST REALLY FEEL THAT HE MIGHT HAVE REPLACED OTHER PARTS THAT WERE STILL GOOD JUST TO CHARGE ME BECAUSE IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT AND THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY AND THE COLDEST NIGHT SO FAR. THEY WILL REPLACE WORKING PARTS SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU. NEVER AGAIN WILL I CALL THEM. TAKE CARE BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

THEY WEAR BOOTIES TO MINIMIZE ANY MESS, SEEMED QUITE PROFESSIONAL, PRICE SEEMED HIGH FOR A NON-HOLIDAY CALL. PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS.

THEY WOULD NOT OFFER AN HOURLY RATE OVER THE PHONE. THEY ESTIMATED ONE HOUR OF WORK AND $500 FOR THE JOB, MATERIALS NOT INCLUDED. OUTRAGEOUS QUOTE, AND THEN CHARGED ME FOR A SERVICE CALL WHEN I DID NOT ACCEPT THE QUOTE. ENOUGH SAID.
