Lucas & Rich were very professional and always showed up on time. Rich worked to get the job completed even when it was FREEZING cold outside. When working inside the house, they removed their shoes and cleaned up nicely once done. I would definitely recommend and use them again when I need electrical work done.

Very well, this provider was punctual and professional. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to properly diagnose and remedy the problem. He even took a peak at an additional electrical issue I was having that I plan to address at a later date.

I think it was great. He came out a couple of weeks ago just to check everything out and give us an estimate and he was really quick. We got a couple of emails back and forth between then and this Monday and he was always really quick to get back to me. I think they were great and very professional.

I can not say enough great things about Lucas and Rich. My husband and I bought a house in Levittown and needed to find and electrician, I searched on Angies List and had three electricians come out and give estimates. Ava was not the most expensive and not the cheapest, but my husband felt that Lucas was the most knowledgeable electrician that gave an estimate. Lucas and Rich are nice and know what they are doing. We will definitely call AVA in the future for any of our electrical needs.

After being without power in 2012 as a result of Sandy, my husband and I decided to purchase a portable generator and needed to have a transfer switch installed and wired to the circuit breaker panel. After researching licensed electricians in the area on Angie’s List, we selected AVA Electrical. Lucas came to our home to provide an estimate for the proposed job. He explained the work that needed to be done in a professional and courteous manner. Within a few hours, we received the proposal for the job and scheduled the work to be done. Rich and Greg were at my house promptly at 8:00 a.m., did a walk-thru to explain exactly what was to be done and began the work which also involved assembling and preparing the generator for use. Everything was done by 12:00 noon. They went through all the steps necessary in switching on/off the circuit breakers, connecting and running the generator. We found their work to be very neat and their conversation pleasant and personable. I would definitely use their services again and certainly recommend them.

The experience is quite positive. Two of my breakers kept tripping. Lucas came, after inspection, suggested to swap them out. They are arc breakers, which he said are too-sensitive, and might be the reason why it kept on tripping. Instead of spending hours dismantling every light on these breakers to see what's really tripping them, it's a lot more cost efficient to just swap in standard breakers. That's what we did, and haven't had any issue since. Very nice guys, explains everything patiently.

Lucas came to the house to see what it would take to complete the project. He then emailed me a Quote within 24 hrs. Once all of the items were received, I gave him the go ahead and we scheduled the project for completion within the week. A Team Member Rick came first to the house to start prep work on the day the project. Lucas arrived a short time later with everything needed to complete the work. Lucas and I went around the house while we identified the circuits that were to be protected in the event of a power failure. Once that work was done, Lucas worked outside to install the Connection input outlet while Rick worked on wiring in the Transfer switch. Once Rick was complete with the work and cleaned up the project area, he went over with me the exact process to activate the switch with the Generator feeding the system . Entire project took about 6 hrs of work and everything was done with great professionalism.

These guys are simply the best. No need to call anyone else. Honest, courteous, and professional.

Excellent overall experience. Punctual, professional, courteous. Lucas identified and solved the problem quickly. He was friendly and very neat. One of the best experiences we have had with a contractor. We highly recommend Ava Electrical and will definitely use them again!

The electrian that came by was great (Robert) if I needed more work done I would ask for him again.

They arrived promptly at 8:00 AM worked all day and left at 7:00 PM, with all work completed, and with all electricity back on. They did a great job.

Work was well done and professionally with minimal cuts in wall and ceiling. The area was difficult to work in but Richard made it work. He cleaned up after himself, was pleasant and even continued to work by flashlight (!) when the power went out in our entire neighborhood for about 45 mintues...very impressed with that!

The Electrician did returned all phone calls and texts messages promptly. Came the same day or early the next if I called late in the day. The owner/manager and assistant were both very pleasant, kind, courteous, very knowledgeable, quick, efficient and professional worker. All requests made were followed through neatly. I would highly recommend AVA Electrical and Lighting Services as great - excellent electricians to do any electrical work!

Lucas and Rich were amazing! From the start Lucas was punctual and very thorough when we were doing a walk through in my home. Work started as scheduled and the two worked from 8 am to sometimes after 6pm. I don't even know when they took a lunch break! They worked non-stop to get everything done. Price wise Lucas was the best as well. I consulted 2 other electricians and Lucas' price was much more reasonable than the other two. They were very professional and hard working. I feel confident that the work that was completed is reliable and safe. We highly recommend Ava Electrical and have already referred our family to him. Thank you so much for a job well done!!

Rich came before I left for work and had the new one installed before I had to leave. All went very smoothly.

I was not present as I was working and my husband was home. However, he felt it was good and everything seems to be working fine at the moment.

They came out the same day that I called them. Rich was able to figure out in five minutes which outlet was bad and re-did it the correct way. Everything has been fine since then and I am scheduling them again to hang a lighting fixture. They even gave me an Angie’s List discount!

Rich arrived on time, analyzed the problem and worked steadily. I was so impressed with this company, I hired them to do outside electrical boxes that had been non-functioning for many years. Again, he showed up on time and got everything working and for a price that I considered reasonable. FYI, they are re-naming the company Ava Electrical and Lighting Service.

John Lucas returned my call promptly and scheduled an appointment the very next day. Arrived at the door 10 min before the appointment. Very professional in diagnosing the fault location in the circuit. He located and replaced the faulty outlet in the next room that caused the problem. Offered me 10% discount when I told him that I found him on the Angies List. I would definitely recommend him for his prompt and professional service.

Arrived on time, worked in 90 + degree heat without complaining and found the problem in the 90+ degree attic, which caused the top floor of the house to have electrical issues. He checked the service to the panel and the panel itself. Neat clean and fixed the problem, I would use him again, when the need arises.
