AVA Electrical and Lighting Services were excellent. Lucas came to our home and explained what he proposed and explained why once we told him what we needed and why. Because of our project we knew, up front, there would be some delay. He gave us a fair price and installation date. Through no fault of his there were some delays which did not surprise us. At all times he kept us appraised of the status of the job calendar. Along the way he received a reduction of price the materials were going to cost him and, honestly, passed them on to us. His work was clean, neat and efficient. I would highly recommend his company and use him again should the need arise.

Second time I have hired Ava Electrical and both times Lucas and his crew have been what you expect when you hire professionals. Punctual, courteous, reasonably priced and do a clean thorough job. This second time, a windstorm knocked down a tree and our power line was ripped off from the side of the house. Lucas came within an hour of me calling and had everything repaired within a few hours. Followed up the next day to make sure everything was working. If you’re looking to get any type of electrical work done, I would recommend you hire Ava!

The team was very professional ,prompt and did they're work in a professional manner cleaned up the areas they worked in you'd never know they were there and tested the generator before they left and the cost was very reasonable, I would highly recommend them to anyone that is interested in having a generator installed

Lucas and his team from Ava were great. His pricing was fair and his scheduling was flexible. They came at the appointed time and cleaned up after they were done. I am satisfied with work they did and I will use them again for any future work and recommend them.

Lucas and his team of Richard and Henry did good work. They arrived at 8am and worked until job was done. Lucas was very pleasant to work with and answered emails and phone calls promptly.

We didn't end up using AVA Electric because another electrician had already started the job by mistake before we had approved his proposal. We eventually worked out the conflict with the original electrician and had them finish the job. Lucas from AVA Electric was on time, was very personable and knowledgeable, and his proposal was thorough and fairly priced. I would definitely use AVA Electric for any future electric work I might need.

The first words that come to mind are: professional and pleasant. For the first job, Lucas provided a very reasonable estimate (much lower than another company that we called) . When the job was performed, there were some unforeseen glitches that caused the job to be much more involved than originally thought. He worked through the problems with ease and did not charge us for the extra time it took to complete the job. New panel is great and working well. The second job was much less involved, but still done efficiently and is working great. We are planning to have AVA back to install lighting in our living room. AVA has proven to be reliable, responsive and reasonably priced, I would highly recommend them for any electrical repairs or installations.

Lucas was very professional! He scheduled an appointment for me for the same day. He assessed the problem, fixed the wiring and changed the outlet. Very efficient work. Would definitely hire again and recommend to all!

Lucas & another electrician were here on two days to do this work. They were on time, friendly, & helpful, & did all work correctly. They replaced the main electric panel (a job that took many hours), re-wired it, corrected some faulty wiring, & replaced the box. This involved disconnecting all power to the house & disconnecting a whole-house generator. It was a hot/humid day, & they worked in the basement under adverse conditions with no lights, but no complaints from them. Everything worked fine when they finished. In addition. they enclosed outside electric wiring into a conduit & did a very good job with that. They replaced dimmer switches & replaced an old outdoor outlet & properly attached the outlet pole to the house. They checked the GFI situation & found the outlets properly working with GFI. A House Inspection Report (for our house, which is for sale) incorrectly stated that a bathroom "vent/exhaust" fan was improperly installed (electrically). Lucas examined this & found that the fan was not an exhaust fan, & was indeed properly installed. I asked him to write a statement for me, for the purpose of documenting his findings, & he did so. For all the work that was done here, I feel that they charged a very reasonable amount. And just as importantly, they were punctual, helpful, & did all the work correctly the first time. They gave me an estimate prior to starting the work, & they stuck to it, so I paid what I expected to pay, no more. If you're looking for a reliable electrician who is reasonably priced, I highly recommend this company.

very happy with Lucas' work. was extremely friendly and responsive. Small issue with bathroom light which stopped working, but Lucas came back out very next day and repaired, which was great. Would definitely recommend.

Since we recently moved, I needed to find a local reputable electrician to take care of a few things. I went to the source - Angie's List, and looked up reviews. I was pleased to find that AVA Electrical had excellent reviews and was located near our home. I called and left a message and Lucas promptly returned my call. I explained that I had a bad light switch and also needed a ceiling fixture installed. Lucas scheduled a convenient date and time. That morning I received a call 30 minutes before the appointment time advising that Rich was on his way. Rich arrived as scheduled and went straight to work repairing the light switch and installed the fixture. He was also nice enough to secure a wall outlet that was loose (missing a screw). The job was completed to our satisfaction. I highly recommend AVA Electrical & Lighting and won't hesitate to call them again when the need arises.

The owner was great, he went out of his way to make things better. He was a very pleasant person to work with, very polite. The bought an ceiling fan for me and then installed it too. Very courteous, friendly and the work is very professional. He was very knowledgeable and cleaned up after them.

AVA Electric (Lucas) offers an incredible service I called him, and he got back to me quickly. As always. I told him what was wrong, and he explained I needed to go up on the amps .He fixed the problem. This company is excellent in every way. Lucas is honest, caring, reliable, dependable I cannot say enough about him. He is there when needed. An A-1 company!

We moved into a new place and found out that one of the outlets in the office was dead. We received quotes from two other Angie's List vendors and had one come in for an assessment. The vendor which came in took down our ceiling fan and told us that the connection to the dead outlet was cut and used to feed power to the fan in our ceiling fan. The initial vendor that came in spent 30-45 minutes to assess the issue and we were told that we would have to open up the wall to fix the dead outlet. Once we were told that we had to open up the wall we wanted a second opinion. We had AVA come in today and within 30 minutes we were told the same exact thing the aforementioned vendor said. However, AVA told us that we did not have to open up the wall. We were told that the wiring just had to be reconnected. It was about the same time spent in assessing the issue as the vendor mentioned above. However, the assessment was completely different. AVA provided us a very competitive hourly rate as compared to the hourly rates we were provided by the first two Angie's List vendors we reached out to. Additionally, the electrician which came was personable, professional and to the point. We will definitely go with AVA again in the future and would recommend them as a vendor.
