Description of Work: Two very professional and experienced floor men, Bolivar and Luis, arrived on time. On the first day, they sanded and restained my good-sized living room floor, making the 60-year-old parquet look and feel like new. They returned 3 more times for shorter sessions to apply protectant, including a special high-traffic protectant (which cost extra) during a last visit. I went out the first day in order to avoid the noise of the sander, but otherwise, with open windows and an air cleaner going, I was able to remain in the house without any breathing issues (they used water-soluble products that dried quickly and also vacuumed up all the dust, always working behind a plastic sheet that stretched across the archway leading into the room). Before the work commenced, I spoke at length with John about what to expect, and I am really satisfied. My new living room, empty of furniture, looked like a professional dance studio. Friends who knew the old discolored and somewhat beat-up floor were all very complimentary.
