They never contacted me

I've used them many times. They are lovely. They call and tell me it is going to be $69 to come as a service call regardless. They apply that amount if they can fix it; otherwise that is their cost for coming out to the house to look at it. They are very polite and nice. They have done lots of things for me, including fixing my washing machine. Their punctuality is perfect. He called and said that he would be here in 15 minutes and he was. I haven't checked other prices. I only use them because they are local and I believe in supporting my community.

I called and they were there the next day. Very professional, prompt and courteous. Highly recommended.

This company came when they said they would and it was in a reasonable amount of time from when I called them. The serviceman was very nice and patient in locating the issue. My only complaint is that he didn't carry repair parts with him so he had to come over twice, once to evaluate the problem, and then a week later to actually repair it. That means more time off from work to have an appliance repaired. All in all, my dishwashher was repaired properly and I was happy with the service.

I first called All Island Appliance on Carleton Ave. The man answering the phone said it was late in the day and he would check with the repairman when he came in and call me back. That was a Friday. When I did not hear by mid morning on Monday, I called and left a voice mail requesting a call back, which never came. Several of the referrals you gave me were in Conneticut. I live on Long Island. This was not appropriate. I went to the Yellow Pages phone book for Suffolk County, Long Island and chose Jand S Appliance Repair in Miller Place and was very pleased. The receptionist was very courteous. She gave me a range of time for the repair man to arrive with the date and on that day called to notify me that he would be at my home in about 1/2hr. He was right on time. The cost of the assessment was not charged since the repair was completed in which case they wave this fee.. The repair was completed. He also looked at and repaired my stove which a previous repair man refused to come to the home to even look at the problem. My husband and I were very pleased. Mike also gave us a referral for a company to clean the dryer vent which was badly clogged with lint. That repair was done today and again we are very pleased.

I called Saturday morning . They came in the afternoon. Arrived on time, made repair. No complaints.

We found Jand S on Angie's List and called, arranging for them to do the work. Found them to be great to deal with. They were able to identify the problem, provide the parts and fix it without us having to return.

I have used them before. They were great. They did a great job. Overall it went very well. I'm happy. They were very knowledgeable. They came out when they said they were going to come out. They did a good job and my washing machine works well. I had a very good experience with them. It was great. They were very good. I would definitely use their services again in the future.

I found my refrigerator not working on Monday morning before I went to work. I call Sears and they said they could not come until Wednesday. I checked Angie's List and called JS Appliance Repair. They came in two hours and fixed the refrigerator. It needed a new fan motor. The technician was very professional and did not mind my husband following him around asking questions while he worked.

They did a good job. The only thing was they charged $70 for the trip charge regardless of the job. They estimated it would cost $297, and deduct the trip charge from that, I ended up paying a little more than that. Their warranty is a 90 day warranty, and if anything happens they will fix it. After that, I will be on my own.

They could not solve the problem. They ended up replacing the dish washer. It was on warranty so they did not charge us anything. They kept their appointment. They called back right away and did show up when they said they would show up. I am not sure that I believed what they were trying to tell me. They replaced some parts which I did not think needed to be replaced. It did not solve the problem. If I were paying for the parts directly I would not have been happy about it especially because it did not solve the problem even after that. I will not use this company in the future.

The repairman was professional, skilled, honest and explained things. The price of repair was less than replacement of the appliance and thus far has lasted. I did not like having to wait for the part to come in as laundry was piling up necessitating a visit to the laundromat. But that's life.

They were quick, efficient, and business-like. The price was fair. The experience with J and S Appliance was very positive. I highly recommend them.

They did a good job. They were prompt, polite, and professional.

Good experience. I was ripped off two times in the past by appliance repair businesses. JS Appliance was reasonable with their charges.

What happened is the dishwasher stopped working. They came out and fixed it again. It stopped working again, but it turned out that it was a different repair, and then it stopped working again, and it needed another repair. After the repairs were explained to me by the repairmen, I had to laugh it off.

My 4 yr old washer seemed unfixable; terrible odor. We tried everything the manufacturer suggested; nothing worked. JS Appliance came anyway. It was not going to be an easy job. They sent Bill, he took the machine completely apart, found the problem and corrected it! What a mess. He did it neat, fast and didn't complain. He was excellent. He then hooked up my new dryer with a side vent that he had to make. Again he did the work fast, good and was always pleasant. The outcome for us was excellent; I will always use JS for my work.

They did an excellent job. They took out my old machine and put in a new machine. They had to take out the doors in the back to bring it in. They did a good job. I have had them here before. They did good. They are not going to try to sell you a more expensive product.

Early in the morning I realized the freezer wasn't working. I called, and they said they would call back. They called quickly, accommodated my schedule, and came a few hours later. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and the repairman cleaned everything up.

The company responded to my calls promptly, and came to do the work in the timeframe quoted. Jeff was quick clean and pleasant.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MY LOCAL APPLIANCE COMPANY. I CALLED THEM WEDNESDAY AND THEY CAME THURSDAY. I HAVE USED THEM IN THE PAST SEVERAL TIMES. THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE, PROMPT AND HERE WHEN THEY PROMISE!

J and S APPLIANCE DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE RELIABLE AND DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. THEY REALLY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND THEY DID IT IN A TIMELY MANNER.
