we tried to suspend/cancel oil deliveries while we were having work done. they made a delivery anyway, they said they can not suspend deliveries, i would have to cancel contract to suspend deliveries. done, i closed my account. found a local company.

It went very well. They are reliable and extremely professional. We've used them for a number of years now. I like their price, their service people and their service policy. They are very responsive.

They were efficient and they came out when they said they would be out.

They are horrible. Even my neighbor has had a bad experience with them. They even changed their name from Wallace Oil to Wallace Energy to avoid the negative reviews. They have an address in Middletown but they actually are stationed in New Jersey. My neighbor’s husband just died and they made her suffer and only gave her ten gallons. Then when they gave her an emergency service, they charged $100 for two barbecue tanks. They got nasty and greedy once corporate took over Middletown. They wanted to charge me $389 per gallon and I called their corporate office in New Jersey and screamed at them, told them I have been with them for twenty years and that the going rate is around $349 a gallon, that I would cancel the entire contract, which is when they agreed to $349 a gallon. Only after I ditched to them and threatened to cancel their service entirely, I canceled their oil and threatened to cancel their propane. So overall, I am just tolerating them and I am seriously a provider that is not gouging a consumer, that is upfront and fair and not use the underhanded dirty tactics. Wallace Oil was an awesome community service company in Middletown for at least thirty to thirty-five years and then once the corporate took over, and dissolved the Middletown office that had an awesome staff, that worked with the community consumers, they left the Middletown and some of the consumers don’t even know they work out of New jersey, also they are very rude and they don’t reply to your calls, and they give you a very hard time and they do unscrupulous tactics.

wallace installers arrived on time and got right down to work . old furnace was disassembled and removed. ductwork was carefully and neatly retrofitted to accomodate new furnace. new furnace was carefully prepared prior to placement for install. these technicians didn't sit down for a minute. finally install was completed 6-8 hours later and all that remained was initial firing which then resulted in a slight copper kettle smell. the furnace after installation was completed appeared showroom mint. the following month we learned how great it actually works. the house is warmer with more steady temperature throughout all rooms and while using a lot less oil. i am greatly satisfied with this new furnace purchase and install from Wallace Oil. i would definitely recommend them for new installs to their oil customers.

With the power out because of Sandy and my generator needing propane it was difficult getting a hold of Wallace because phone lines were down too. I filled out a "new customer" form on their website. While I was driving to their local office my phone rang. A young man saw my form from the website. He had looked up my account info and was calling me to tell me he had put in the order for a delivery soon. The delivery came without a hitch. Wallace Oil kept me filled up on propane for the duration of our power outage. They went above and beyond to make the deliveries and keep me informed of when they would be here.

I have been using them for a long time. Whenever I call them I talk to the same person. I don't have automatic delivery so I just call as I need it, which I really like.

We've been using them for 12 years. I called them at night in the winter my burner. They came by at 10:30 at night to fix it. My compressor broke and the boss found a cheaper option for me than redoing my whole system. If they weren't as dedicated to the customer, they could have made more money. Instead they saved me nine thousand dollars. That's not something I'll forget.

I was pleased with the service. We have used them for awhile now and there have never been any problems. They are thorough, professional, and reliable. I would recommend them to other people because they are easy to do business with and they always stay with their quotes.
