They removed the old fiberglass insulation and sprayed foam insulation on the underside of my roof. They also sprayed the rim joists of my basement. So far the house seems much less drafty.

HORRID COMPANY. If you use these guys, be ready for alot of stress. I confirmed 10/31 install but due to Sandy, my appointment was canceled. I was available to have them and they were "up and running" according to Tracey (CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER... haha) but NO ONE SHOWED... strike one. I was rescheduled for November 6th and took a day off and 10 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive... they canceled. I fought with David (THE OWNER) to get on calendar for a Saturday before the first of December. FINALLY, these people got a conscious and booked me for November 10th. 45 minutes after they should have arrived I emailed but they were closed. David (THE OWNER) strikes again... I get a call of apology... Are you effing serious! This company is so poorly run I must sue them for lost wages now. GREAT!!! For being such a small company, there are just no controls... If you value your time.... Dont use them.

The appraisal process by Jay went very well, with Tracy at the office answering all questions.On the day of installation, the crew (another Jay and helper) was in on time. They spend half of their time installing protection against the foam and dirt. The job was done quickly and correctly and I would use them again if I have to.It was a very good experience, no stress.Thank you, Foamco.Roland in New Jersey

As a retired contractor I can say that these guys do it right. Estimator/salesman (Jay) arrived right on time for his appointment and sent an estimate by email within about twelve hours. Calls were returned, questions answered and proposal was clear and to the point. Appointment was scheduled with no difficulty and the crew - two very tidy men - arrived a few minutes early for the installation. (Jake and a name I did not catch) The job consisted of spraying a confined attic area which contains an air handler and the box beam around the cellar foundation. This was all done cleanly and within a few of hours. Drop clothes were placed every where necessary and the floors were covered more than adequately. When they left, other than the work they had done, I would not have known they had been here. This was a retrofit to stop heat leakage from the attic area which contains the air handler and which was causing enormous icicles over the front entrance and cold infiltration from the cellar. This was something of an experiment to see what difference the insulation will make this winter. They have other insulation services and I will be calling them to price a couple of other projects as time and cash flow allow. Keep in mind, spray foam is lumpy. It does not present a flat surface when finished and no one should expect it to disappear into the background unless it is behind sheetrock. That is another kind of installation.

I cannot say enough about this experience! They came quickly for the quote, and it was free. The sales rep was on time. He was respectful. The price was very fair (in particular, because we were a small job: rather than charge us an exorbitant "minimum" fee, their only caveat was that they would have to schedule us when they were in our area for a larger job. How fair, for a change! I readily agreed, and within two weeks, we were luckily scheduled. I just want to be treated fairly, and this felt really reasonable, a win-win for both sides). They also *insisted* we sign a contract (I actually crave detailed contracts, and they are *hard* to come by! This company had no fear, this is what we are going to do, for this price, end of story), which is to the advantage of both parties. I feel so confident when a company takes this stance - they have nothing to hide! The quote was prompt. The scheduling was prompt (they actually have a different person for each, and they all knew what they were doing - wuh). The actual technicians/workpeople arrived on time, were efficient, respectful, and did a really nice, thorough job (no gaps, that I can see). I never thought I could be so excited about insulation! - lol - but this was a completely positive experience! I got a receipt the day the workers left, I got a paid invoice after my final payment (20% down). I know I am waxing poetic, but REALLY. This is SO RARE today! (and why we need Angie's List in the first place). I plan on hiring them back again to do more work as we are able. According to my research, this price is very fair for a superior product like Icynene. I found them through the Icynene website. Assuming this is within your budget, hire without question. A++ experience.

They had the type of insulation I wanted to use. They were excellent. My brother-in-law, who is a builder, recommended this type of insulation. It is open cell. A gentleman came and met me for an estimate. I got a contract shortly thereafter. The job went very well. I had to use them because I wanted this type of material.

The contractor came to my house to estimate the cost. He was late, but that was not a problem since I work nearby. I was stunned by the effortlessness of the estimation. It was 50% higher than I was told at the home show given the outer dimensions of the house and no consideration was given for the windows. Given the high cost of just installing insulation, window replacement is a much better investment; and more aesthetically pleasing.

From the first call to the last clean up, every one was cheerful and helpful. They came when they said. They called back when they said. They did the work correctly. hey were patient with my questions. They did exactly what I ASKED. What more could you ask for?
