Description of Work: I had Jason and co install new gutters on two levels of the house. They did an excellent job and it wasn't easy as they had to figure out an attractive way to bring the gutters down through the deck as discreetly as possible. They did it perfectly!

Description of Work: "I'd used Explicit Exteriors for a job last year and was very pleased with the work, so I immediately decided to call Jason when I needed work this time. They completely rebuilt the leaking roof on the shed attached to the house; power-washed, scraped, sanded, sealed, primed and applied two coats of paint by brush to the entire house - which was in desperate need of work; replaced damaged/missing shingles; rebuilt a damaged window frame; built pressure-treated entrance ramps to two sheds; and more. | |The work was done with care and precision, all of the workers were meticulous and very professional. They took care to make sure that everything was cleaned up each day when they left. They did a fabulous job and I wouldn't hesitate to call Jason again."

Description of Work: It was suppose to be a roof maintenance call, instead it was a paid estimate. I was under the impression my roof was going to be checked with minor repairs made, as i have had done by other companies. Instead i was told i need a new roof, and an estimate would be forwarded to me. I never received an estimate. Also i was told by another roofer several months before that my roof was good for at least another 5 years. Appointments were made, but i had several no call no shows. A personal emergency for one, but other no shows happened.

Description of Work: Full roof assessment as part of $99 Angie's List deal, which included attempting unsuccessfully to repair a small leak in the roof, which, in his defense, he noted would be very difficult to repair without doing more extensive work (he recommended an entire roof replacement). I did not take him up on this recommendation, but this was due to other circumstances unrelated to this service provider. Was professional and responsive.

+ -1 moreActually, I was going to go online and will give it a B rating only because we set up the day and they did not show up. And then, when I called, I think I spoke to the owner and put me off a little bit, so, we set it up the following week and the 2 gentlemen that came, Willie and Rick, were here 8:30 in the morning, did a great job, neat, clean, and courteous. I will give them an A for overall. I had taken a day-off but they did not show up when I called, did not seem to remember that we set up an appointment. They did the work last October and costs $299. It was a simple job and there was just some sheet rock and sparkling. I think that is what the guy put off because they seem like a very simple job that would not bring him more jobs. He thought that maybe it would be a bigger job and he would have to come back a couple of days but I wanted to try them out and say what would look like. He was local, so, I thought I would give it a try and I had just some simple jobs. The guys that did come were good, courteous, and asked me because they finished up a little early with their anything else needed to be done. I will give them an A rating. The B rating was only because I had taken a day off and did not show up. But if they did come, the 2 guys that came were fine, then, I will give them an A rating. I will use them again, so, I will give them an A rating.

+ 0 moreMy husband was impressed with the efficiency of the service and the quality of the workmanship. This was a job that we were concerned about what might be uncovered and the extent of damage. It was a good thing we did it before it got worse. When my husband saw the extent of deterioration, he expected that the work would take much longer to repair.
Description of Work: An area of siding on my cedar framed house was deteriorating. We were not sure the extent of the damage and wanted to replace the damaged wood. The provider inspected the exterior, removed portions of my deck and replaced the damaged boards. They put the porch back together and cleaned up.

+ 4 moreJason , Craig, Scott and team are professional, courteous and easy to work with. We adopted most of their design suggestions and in some cases modified ideas as the interior projects were underway. They treated our home as if it were their own, were very considerate of our property inside and out, as renovations and construction can be quite messy. The work performed exceeded our expectations. As a result , a large addition to the house is underway now, in the excavations stages. We expect we will be equally as pleased with this work when it is completed in several months. It will include a full basement, large master bedroom, master bath, walk in closet ,laundry room and attic storage. .
Description of Work: Explicit Exteriors did multiple projects for us. They replaced the roof and resided 3 dormers on our 1985 Cape Cod style house in the fall of 2012. They also replaced the kitchen slider with a new Anderson slider. They renovated our family room and office which entailed modifying the existing wall to include a knee wall with custom colums as well as a 3 panel 8ft Anderson glass door. They renovated a brick fireplace which involved removing the brick, and installing natural stone with an oak mantle. Crown and base molding were also installed in the family room, office and dining room , and several interior doors were replaced. These rooms were all painted as well. In addition, our entryway was renovated. They removed the existing slate flooring and replaced it with tile which greatly enhanced the entryway. Due to the quality of this work and our overall satisfaction, we are now proceeding with a 760 sf addition to the house which will include a full basement, large master bedroom, master bath, walk in closet ,laundry room and attic storage. .
