PROFESSIONAL JOB FROM START TO FINISH.NOT CHEAP BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Generally speaking, his work was OK. My main complaint was the frequency with which he missed appointment dates. Since the job required several visits , it took longer than I expected. Part of this was my fault in picking a contractor whose home base was quite a distance form my home. Recommendation: Pick a contractor whose home base is reasonably close to your home.

He was exceptionally nice and got back to me immediately. He is knowledgeable about the animals and understands the difference between them. He also trimmed my tree limbs and decontaminated my crawl space. He temporarily closed up the holes in the roof and cleaned up the fecal matter left behind from the racoon. I was impressed by his tremendous responsibility. I found him to be fairly priced as well. I would give him a triple A in responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism.

Trapper John identified the entry point (window grate) and installed a 'humane' device that allowed the squirrels to exit but not re-enter. Then he installed screening to prevent animals from getting in again. He did a thorough inspection and offered good advice on cleaning up, prevention, maintenance, etc.

I woke up in the middle of the night upon hearing jumping and scratching noises coming from my attic. I called Trapper John to come to perform an inspection and to provide an estimate on the job. He came right away. Climbed into the attic but did not see any animal present at the time he inspected but said there was evidence of an animal. He went outside and from the ground could see the hole and evidence of nesting activities. He returned with ladders to install a small cage like device which allowed any squirrel or other animal trapped in the attic to climb out but which did not allow the animal to return to climb back in. This was left on the roof over the hole for 5 days. On the fifth day John returned to remove the device and close up the hole. He mentioned that my roof needed repair due to tree branches from a neighbor's tree which reached over to my roof and had been scraping the roof tiles. He said that he would cut some of them away that day and would return on another day with some pruning tools to remove the larger branches. The squirrels were running over the branches and landing on my roof. True to his word he came back to do the pruning about 2 weeks later (which was not part of the original job nor did he charge any extra for this work!). He does not kill the animals just insures that they are out of the house before he closes and repairs and removes anything that is enabling them to enter. The job was successful and there were a number of unhappy squirrels trying to figure out what happened for about 2 more weeks. I guess they found someone else's attic!! John is a gentleman and a professional and I would recommend him to anyone who needs this work done. A bit pricey but I got what I paid for (and then some).

The squirrel was removed. It has not returned. Trapper John was very careful not to harm or injure in any way the squirrel. He told me that if the squirrel gave birth that we might need to leave it there until the litter can leave under its own power. Trapper John also properly diagnosed the problem. Another contractor told me that I had birds! If you are concerned about not hurting squirrels and other critters than Trapper John is your man. The price was a bit high but I was under pressure to get the job done ASAP because I had roofers coming to fix my gutters any day and I was afraid that the squirrel would give birth in my attic. The price was non-negotiable. Squirrel removal is expensive because fewer pest control companies than ever do the work. If you have the luxury of time, trap it yourself. I also believe that you can find other trappers/exterminators, of equal effectiveness, for less money. However, they may not be as conscientious as Trapper John.

Trapper John found out how the squirrels climbed a particular tree, went into the gap in the roof and hung out in our house. Not only did he handle the removal of the squirrels, but he also told us -- systemically -- that we'd also have to take down a tree and then seal the roof. He found a roofer, coordinated with him and started by getting the animals out. John came up with a brilliant approach: he set up "doors" that allowed the squirrels to go OUT of the house, but could not come back in. Within 12 hours, there were no more noises coming from the squirrel family...they were gone! John was cleaning up, and noticed that a drain pipe was clogged. He tried to get as much as possible out of the drain, but then he WENT MILES OUT OF HIS WAY, and returned yesterday with a powerful vacuum to clean out our drain pipe! This guy is amazing!

I have used him a few times. He was very responsive time wise and came out when I needed him. He gave me some ideas and helped me out with me problems. I don?t think he specifically solved it when there was a snake in my garage. But, he did what he could to help me with some ideas on how to avoid those things coming in to the garage. I will continue to use him.

He came and was an absolute gentleman. He did the work well, and then he called and checked in with me. I appreciated that he is a humane trapper, so he prevented more squirrels from entering. He has a listed, fixed price so there is no fooling around and no negotiating. He did a very good job, and I would highly recommend him.

THEY DID THE JOB THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY GOT RID OF THE MICE PROBLEM. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EASY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. I AM VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED.
