Tommy came out the very next day after we spoke, assessed the damage and told me to leave the fence as is. I was very appreciative of his honesty and expertise. We plan on using Tommy for future work on our house.

We are very pleased with the work done and wouldn't hesitate to call on him again for future projects.

I was not happy with his work. He was supposed to fix a French door and a kitchen cabinet door where the old brackets were loose. He took the old brackets with him so he could find a similar one, but he couldn’t find anything and never brought them back. When he was working on the door he broke the glass in it so it closed well but the glass had to be replaced. I got the glass replaced and told him the price, but he never got back to me. Before he left the first time, he wanted $50 for the extra work he had to do. He wanted me to pay him more because he broke my glass. I shouldn’t have to track him down but he still owes me money.

He was good, he was on time. His prices were fair. He was friendly and clean.

We had initially contacted Tommie in the fall of 2010 about replacing the storm door. Since we were also planning to evenutally replace the entry door as well, he recommended that we wait and do both at the same time and gave us a fair bundled price. We eventually got around to doing the work in the summer of 2011 and Tommie honored his price from six months earlier. It took about three weeks to get into Tommie's schedule but he showed up when he said he would. He encountered a few challenges with the entry door on our 1953 cape cod because the rough opening wasn't consistent with current standards and the jamb depth was deeper than expected. Dealing with this added about an hour to the job. When he finished, he was very concientious about the cleanup and hauled all the excess materials around our house for the trash pickup. Since the entry door took most of a day, Tommie came out a second time to install the storm door. It was an extremely hot day and the entry was in the sun so the working conditions were far from ideal. After he left, we noted that the alignment of the door was off a bit and that it wouldn't seal properly. We contacted Tommie and he returned promptly to fix the issue at no charge and with no push-back -- and once he saw the problem he realized what had happened. We found Tommie to be knowledgeable, personable, and ready to stand by his work. His pricing is a bit on the high side for handyman jobs but he still provides decent value. We would definitely consider using him again should the need arise.

Tommy was the only contractor to call me back. he was on time and chrged a fair price to fix a leak and do moldings.

I found Tommy to be very personable and quite the professional. I needed the side door to the garage replaced as well as minor damage to the siding fixed on the same garage.The work was well done and I was very happy with the final result.I would definitely recommend Tommy and will be having back to put up some shutters at the front of the house.

He is very nice. He is very handy. He did good work.

Things went very well and I was very satisfied. The price was very good and very competitive. They came on time and did what they were supposed to. Any problem we had he came and corrected them. I will hire them again.

Tommy is a very friendly, honest guy. Reliable and good to deal with. Easy to work with and you get the feeling he actually cares and is flexible to adjust along the way (i.e. hey could you also patch this up - no problem). He showed up when he said he would, completed the job over a couple afternoons and cleaned up well. We were satisfied with his workmanship and are talking to him about some other jobs. Definately recommend him.

One Stop was originally hired to provide an estimate to reinstall an existing set of bi-fold closet doors that had fallen off the track. Over the past six months, numerous contractors/handymen had looked at this project. I was told the doors could not be reused because the track was broken, the doors were damaged or they were too heavy to use. Then I found Tom. He didn't make me wait days for an appointment, and he arrived on time. Some people would probably consider his fee of $100 for 2-1/2 hours of work high, but to me this was worth it. In the end he saved me over $1,000 (the cost to replace the doors and and tracking system). Tom was able to problem solve and had a stick-to-it approach to this project. He said the doors were ok and the track was not broken and was able to salvage the doors and reinstall them. I would definitely reuse One Stop.

Tommy showed up on time for our appointment and gave an honest assesment of what he could do and gave good advise

I wasn't really satisfied with him. He charged me $150.00 to take down the gazebo and took one hour to take it down. To me that was a little steep for just an hour's worth of work. He charged me $150.00 for the caulking, plaster work, and the wood tile and I think he was fair on his price. He gave me exactly the quality I wanted for the sheetrock to be caulked and filled. He could have done a little more and a little better on the wood floor tiles. I thought he did a pretty good job on the caulking in the bathroom, but my wife's opinion is a little different from mine. I used to do the power washing myself, but I ripped my right rotator cuff twice so I can't take the pressure of the power washer. His price was good. His quality wasn't so good on the power washing. I showed him some areas and he told me some areas he couldn't get the dirt off. I had a product I picked up years ago from a janitorial supply place. It is organic and it doesn't hurt any plants or anything. It takes off any dirt. You could use it for your machine, but unfortunately a lot of people do not like using this for their machines. You could put just a little in the bucket and it works so well you don't really have to scrub. I told him about it, but he wouldn't take my advice and he didn't do it. I wound up getting those things off with this chemical that you barely have to scrub. He was fair on the price for some things and he was over on the price for others. I would consider him intermediate on just about everything. If I had the same work next time I would try somebody else. The plaster work was not a great job. I have been in this house for 35 years and that area has been fixed up many times. I am not looking for an excellent job because it's a laundry room and a garage. The walls are sheetrock and the ceiling is sheetrock. The floors are wood floors. The work doesn't have to be perfect for a garage floor. Some of his prices were good and some of them weren't good. His responsiveness was pretty good. I would not use him again in the future. I would try somebody else.

The person who came out from 1 Stop Home Improvements Company was a very nice man. He was professional. It was a pleasure to deal with him. The only reason I didn’t go with them was because someone equally impressive gave me a better price. It was easy to get a hold of him. I would consider using 1 Stop Home Improvements Company in the future.

I was not fond of them. They were late. The gave me only a couple hours of work a day to get the job done. People and myself noticed a lot of unfinished work. I was not satisfied. I would not recommend them. He used my kitchen as a stepping stone; trial by error.

Tommie was responsive and kept his promises. He communicated by phone and email and was on-time for our estimate appointment. His pricing was fair and reasonable and he started and finished the job on time (about 1 afternoon). He cleaned up his work area and made sure we approved of what was done.

Tommy was on time, and worked hard every second he was on site. Personable nice guy Showed up on time, and kept me in the loop while he was working, made no decisions without making sure we were on the same page. A good man, who does a good job. Fair price and does not sweat you for the small stuff.

When I called 1-Stop, Tommy returned my call within a day. He was friendly and professional, asking details about the projects I wanted done. We set a time and date. When I had to cancel the appointment to go out of town for a funeral, I was impressed that Tommy called simply to "check in" and let me know that whenever we were ready to proceed, so was he. When I called back, he (again) returned my call within a day, and we set another date. The A/C unit is installed and we are thrilled. He even went out of his way to insulate around the unit. I love that he took leftover vinyl siding sitting in our backyard to finish the look, making it blend it with the rest of the house. Initially, this was to be one project of three. However, I didn't get the other appliance I wanted him to install, and since he's coming back to do that, he said he'd wait and do the third project then (repairing broken tracks for 2 drawers in my kitchen). I was disaapointed that he didn't go to the store, purchase the material, and come back and fix them when he was here before. However, he told me what to buy, and it makes sense that I don't pay him to stand in line at Home Depot on a Saturday. ==========updated 11/22/2010======== Tommy came back this weekend to fix the microwave and the drawers. Unfortunately, he didn't remember all the details so he wasn't prepared to install the microwave. He did fix the drawers and is coming back on Thanksgiving morning to finally install the microwave (a very generous offer from him, we thought).

Tom was very professional. He attached the garage door opener to the ceiling securely. The work was completed quickly and the door is working properly. Tom also fixed a timer for the outside stoop light. He quoted me $75.00 for the job for a mechanical timer. At Home Depot only digital timer was available( more expensive). I was not charged extra. I am going to hire hime again

He was fantastic. He did a really thorough job. I thought the price he charged me was a bargain. He was very courteous and very professional. He came a little later than I expected because he had a client who had an emergency. I like the fact that he takes emergencies although I wish he had started earlier in the day. We are going to have him come back. We are just waiting on more blinds to be delivered and once they come in we will have him install them. He called and informed us that he would be late. I would use him again in the future considering the fact that we are having him come back to do more work.

We are extremely pleased. tommy does a great job and os extremely dependable and trustworthy.

It went smoothly. Tommy worked till the work was done. The experience was so good Tommy is coming back to weather proof the three decks, and I will certainly call him for any other small jobs I may have.

What a pleasure. He returned my call promptly, and the stuff was hung the next day, no nonsense, no excuses, no BS. I have two shelving units waiting to go up, and intend to use him again. The difference between this place and other "handymen" I've used is like night and day. Highly recommended.

My dining room needed updating--beams had to be taken down-painting --new moulding--new sound system. Tom did a great job.I am already making a new list for him. Very pleased.

Excellent.Tommy did a great job installing our new lights and we intend on using him for future projects.
