Perfect. Tommy came over to assess the job and kept in touch until he returned to complete the job. He was courteous, professional, efficient, and skilled. He did not beat us over the head for his fine work, but charged us an extremely reasonable lrate. A pleasure in every way.

He was running late due to another job, but kept me informed. Very personable, friendly, honest, and professional. I would definitely use his services again.

Tommy was great. It was a rainy night and he had been working on another project all day. He was scheduled to come for an assessment, but took a quick look and did the entire job on the spot. He was very fast and very fair. We discussed other possible projects for the future, and he advised us on ways to save money ... even though it actually meant less business for him. Tommy is awesome. Tommy was very polite, responsive, and punctual. We didn't have a pre determined estimate, however, he was fair in what he charged for the work. Tommy is old school. He believes in honoring what is agreed upon with a hand shake, and takes pride in his work. There are not many folks like him around, and that's why when he says he gets a lot of work from repeat customers and referrals, I believe him. He's a family man who happily shares how proud he is of his kids, and seems like a hardworking gentleman keen to provide for his family. Needless to say, it will be my pleasure to use Tommy again.

Tommy and his work were excellent!!...he is very knowledgeable... He gave me some good tips, suggestions, and advice in reference to certain things regarding my home. He is supposed to come back this week to do some tile work in the bathroom. His price, which was already discounted and did not include other work he had done in the basement, was reasonable. I will be contacting him to do any future work on my home.

Tommy arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. He installed shower doors I got from lowes for me. He took his time and did a great job. He even mounted the towel rod and t p holder for no extra charge. I will def use him again for any work I need done at my house and would recommend him to all my friends and family.

He promptly picked up the needed supplies and did the repair that afternoon. It worked great and this will hold my fence up until I have the money to replace to whole thing with a new sturdier one.

Overall, this was a good experience. Tommy arrived on schedule, did the installation in a timely manner and put all the various soaps and powders that normally sit under a kitchen sink back in place without being asked. Subsequently, I requested he return to make an adjustment to the installation, which he did promptly and with no fuss. I found Tommy to be friendly and very easy to work with. He was very professional and "knew his stuff". I would not hesitate to make use of his services in the future.

Tom assembled our complicated basketball hoop and was extremely professional and efficient. He did excellent work and then went through how to work the basketball hoop going forward. It also needs to be noted that all of the work performed was in the sun on one of the hottest days of the year! He was great and we'd definitely recommend him.

We wanted to express our gratitude again and let others know that he did excellent work for us! 1-Stop saved us several hundreds of dollars by coming to our house to look at the problem and provide a free estimate. Tom (from 1-Stop) put real effort into figuring out what the problem was rather than going by what we had been told by others. Our downstairs bathroom ceiling was leaking whenever the upstairs toilet was used. We were told by others who came to look at the problem that it was due to the lead bend leaking and it would cost about $600 to fix. However, Tom came to the house and asked us if we were certain that the lead bend was the problem. We were insisting that the problem was the lead bend because the water appeared to be leaking from the middle of the bend, which we observed when others had come to the determine what the problem was. After he kept insisting that what appeared to be the problem might not be the real problem, we said that we can flush to show the problem (we were certain that we'd be right). To our surprise, he figured out it was something wrong with the ring that the upstairs toilet sits on. I believe the whole thing cost us about $200. He returns phone calls and he scheduled a time with us promptly for the estimate and to do the work. We are so thankful that he checked out the situation himself!

He arrived on time, made a reasonable price and explanation for how he would do the job, offered to get the locks for me and supplied them as part of the overall cost, and completed the work when he said he would, and did it well. He had a kind of workbench set-up on the back of his van so was able to remove the drawer and repair it on that surface with his tools handy, a perfect set-up, it seemed to me, for a carpenter-handyman.

Tommy called very quickly after I posted my needs on Angie's List. From there on everything was smooth sailing. Communication was excellent. I definitely recommend him and would use his services in the future.

Tommy was a great guy to have working on our newborn's nursery. He's a very personable guy, fun to chat with, and cares about the job he's on. With my wife 9 mos pregnant, we were under the clock...trying to get the nursery finished before delivery. Tommy dedicated himself to get it done just in the nick of time! Most of the time, you never knew he was there. He worked with the door closed, and was very clean. The room came out great! I'll be happy to send him pictures in the years ahead as our daughter enjoys her room. Tommy was reliable, and trust worthy. I left him the keys to our unattended home regularly with no concern. I will be using 1 Stop Home Improvements again!

I have worked with Tommy before, I called and told him a brief review of what I needed, he made an appointment and showed up the next day. After doing the door framing hanging etc and admiring his old handiwork as he had installed the tile floor and done some sheetrocking there earlier, he took care of the other wish list items I had mentioned. Then I mentioned there were a couple of small issues I needed for a next time as we walked around I shoed him a hanging light that had uncoupled a little from a hanging chain, which he fixed on the spot as well as a folding door on my laundry room which he straightened out ran down to the truck got a few screws and a drill and fixed the track a quickie. When he wrote up the bill I mentioned he had left out a couple of items, I got a They were small items -- and a shrug. Then I showed him the closet that I need shelves installed in, and he gave me a price and I will have him back when I am ready to go forward. THe man has been a life saver. I had some construction done by a company that went out of business, and Tommy has helped out on a number of finishing issues and really been a great find. No one is perfect, but a nice guy, competent and a true Jack of All Trades who deals with you fairly, is reasonably close. I highly recommend Tommy and personally call him first any time I need work done, just in case he does that too!

Tommy's company installed 8 electrical fixtures in my basement, repaired a leaking toilet, re-ran electrical wiring in my son's room and installed a new light fixture, and repaired a sprinkler line and replaced some broken heads. These projects commenced and were completed over the year we have been utilizing 1 Stop's services. One project was started and finished on a Sunday afternoon!

I'll make it short. I paid him $200 cash & forgot to get a receipt. When I called him to ask for a receipt, he refused. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS GUY? HE TAKES MONEY & REFUSES TO PROVIDE A RECEIPT! That rates an "F" for everything! There's something wrong with workmen who won't do routine things required when you do business. If they're not honest, nothing else matters. Re his reply: I had a problem with a plumber who caused extensive damage and needed a lot of work done to fix it. Cleaning up. Fix pipe & ceiling damage. I needed receipts for all the work to get reimbursed. This guy repaired the ceiling. There's nothing bogus about asking for a receipt and it doesn't put him in the middle of anything. If I wasn't willing to let a plumber cause $3000 in damages through negligence, why should I let someone who repaired the damage refuse to give a receipt for money paid. BUYERS BEWARE! This is a guy who takes your money Z& won't give you a piece of paper that says he got the money.. As far as my complaining - I complain when I have a reason to complain. I don't make things up.
