Power did a good job installing the windows that I needed to do, except for one window that did not fit,a bit of an inconvenience for me because I had to move a lot of furniture to get the space needed for there workspace. They say that in a week's time they will get the correct sized window installed. The other windows that were installed look great.

Very sexist company! If you are a woman , they want to speak to your husband or they wont give you an estimate because they claim that the man should make decisions. They came to my door practically begging to get the job, so I cancelled my plans to be there for an estimate the next day. So I decided to cancel my plans. They harass you with phone calls to make sure the “man of the house” is home. So I finally picked up at 7 am, only to have them waist my time by telling me that the decision maker should be home. I am glad that I didn’t even have my husband accommodate his plans to be there because my neighbor’s roof looks like crap. I am glad I dodged that bullet.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We apologize for any inconvenience or undue stress that was caused throughout your interaction with Power. We hear you and acknowledge your concern about having all homeowners present at our in-home estimate. We want to emphasize that this practice is a standard we we stand on regardless of gender. What we’ve learned in our over 30+ years in the business, is that we’re able to execute on projects better when all homeowners and decision makers are present during the consultation. This helps keep everyone involved on the same page with less confusion, and helps potentially costly miscommunications down the line. Our projects are on people’s homes, we like to believe that a house is one of the most important things in a person life. With this in mind when making decision on someone’s home we want every homeowner involved and comfortable with the decision being made. We think there is no better way to keep everyone in the loop and comfortable with the project rather than having the conversation directly with everyone. If you have any additional questions please give our Customer Care team a call at (888) 736-6335, option 4 at the prompt.

For your mental health and peace of mind, DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. Initial work done on our home was garbage. Certified workers were certified in nothing. Work was a sham. Then I've had 3 warranty people come in never ready, never having the necessary tools or materials knowing the work that needed to be done. They were supposed to deliver the required materials on Friday, may 5th, and they came Thursday. Ok, but again not expecting it. Then I take a day off today because they are supposed to be here to work, call them at 8 this morning to make sure they are coming and am told that yes it in the system. Call back around 10 and am now told that this is now scheduled for Wednesday. No call, no message nothing. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY.

If I could give a negative number it would be a -100. Everything was great in the beginning I thought they did a great job. Turns out they have crappy material make you overpay for it. when they are supposed to come and fix the problem, they do a quick Band-Aid and the problem comes back. I’ve had leaky windows and doors for months I’ve called them multiple times to fix it all they do is come and caulk it. Never once looked into the root of the problem every time I call to try and get it fixed it’s months that I have to wait for someone to come out here. GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!!

From start to finish my experience with Power has been a challenge. The day of my scheduled appointment we took the day off both me and my husband. There was a 4 hour window given for the technicians to arrive and after that time lapsed there was no call and no show. We made 2 calls and both calls we were told there was a delay at the previous job and everyone extremely apologetic but was assured the techs would still come. At 6:30 way into dusk I reached out to only find out they were not even aware the technicians did not arrive. We had to take another day to meet the rescheduled appoint for the next morning. The windows were installed and looks great, but we noticed one was not closing and air including the snow this past weekend came through. This was an issue that was brought to their attention right away and definitely with the gentleman who did the follow up. Extremely disappointed with our conversation with him, no discount offered for our valuable time wasted for the no show and as of today my lock is still not fixed and no call received. Not a happy customer!

My sliding door and window replacements are fine, but customer service is the WORST I’ve ever dealt with. The screen to my sliding door wasn’t ready in the day of installation which had turned in to a two month long odyssey trying to get in installed calling different departments. Also while they were working on another house on my block, a worker entered my LOCKED fenced backyard by shimmying off the bike chain lock in my fence in order to put my dog inside my house while I was at work. I’ve called customer service multiple times to resolve this with minimal fuss and they just transfer me around. STAY AWAY!

Worst warranty I have ever gotten. The weather strip and door saddle went bad and they are giving me 6 months lead time to fix although door is still under warranty. Their door price is 4xtimes more than any other door due to their "lifetime Warranty". This turns out to be a hoax. it's not practical. I have to now pay contractor and parts of on my own in order to get door fixed due to unrealistic 6 months date they are giving me. Anyone reading this review do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We sincerely apologize for any undue frustration experienced during your project, and per your warranty, we'll work with you to resolve all of your concerns as quickly as possible. Our manufacturing partners are still working through some of the difficult circumstances brought on by the pandemic and current economic situation, resulting in longer than expected delivery timelines for products. We are working aggressively with them to diminish these delivery timelines, but we still have work to do. Again, for that inconvenience we sincerely apologize. We take our service promise seriously and, while we are glad that you are currently scheduled for a service appointment, we'll be sure to reach out if an opportunity presents itself to reschedule your appointment at an earlier date.

Installation Date: Late August 2022 The roof installation and gutters were installed and look great. I DO NOT like what they did with the flashing on my chimney. It looked cheap, put together in haste, and with really bad and cheap materials. I had to call and argue with a representative to explain to him that the job they did on the chimney was horrible and that it had to be corrected. He tried to convince me it was the way it's done. I then showed him my neighbors house who had their roof done by another company. Power Home charges a premium and it didn't seem like they were very invested in the job they were doing. Additionally, the trash bin that was delivered was way to small and all the trash didn't fit. As a consequence, they left trash in front on my house and on my property for weeks after. I had to call a second time and resort to begging to get them to come by to pick up the trash. Overall, I feel like they didn't respect the job they were doing, the final touches were horrible, and they didn't treat my home with love or respect (as if it were their own home). Also, there is now a huge gap between the siding and the new roofing material. I fee they should have found and budgeted for a solution for that issue in the form of a bit of siding or flashing to minimize that gap. Now water and critters will get in through that gap. Overall, if I could do it again, I would defiantly NOT chose Power Home Remodeling. I DO NOT recommend them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we regret that you were frustrated by your conversation with our Warranty Service team, we unfortunately aren't able to warranty products that you installed separate from our original installation. The handleset that you installed on your door following the original installation is not a product we offer, nor install, therefore we are unable to provide a warranty service to resolve the issues you're experiencing with that handleset. In 2018, I hired Power Home Remodeling to reinstall my roof. Even though they charged a high premium, I was impressed by their professionalism, confidence and sincerity. In addition, they promised transferable life-time warranty and superb warranty service. However, when it actually comes the time for warranty service, I am deeply disappointed. Days ago, there was a heavy rain in my area. Until yesterday, I still saw water dripping from the roof outside. As a result, I contacted Power Home Remodeling, and spoke with Rachel to schedule an inspection. I was told the earliest date is December 20, 2022, equivalent to 130 days' of waiting. I felt outrageous by this ridiculous lengthy waiting time and requested an inspection sooner. I was told that it was impossible due to labor shortage. In the afternoon, a supervisor from Power Home Remodeling called my mobile, and explained again how they were impacted by labor shortage. Nevertheless, this conversation has made me extremely uncomfortable. It is understandable that there is a noticeable labor shortage on the market right now. But it seems that Power has been impacted disproportionately heavier than others. Besides, since they charge much higher price than competitors, I'd expect them to be the last one who have a labor shortage issue. Unless, the greedy executives keep all the money. The supervisor didn't explain why they got impacted so badly. Instead, he just emphasized again and again they were having a labor shortage. Furthermore, he has repeatedly compared Power with "others" during the conversation. I asked him to consolidate the "others" but he didn't give any examples. I'd like to assume that a typical example of "others" would be HomeDepot. It is true that HomeDepot is bad. But at least I could have save 50% if I chose them in the first place. Given the same horrible warranty service, why would I pay the premium in the first place? I told the supervisor that Power has failed their customers. Out of no where, he told me that Power hasn't failed their customers. Seriously, only customers are entitled to such opinions. As the service provider, you don't decide if your customer is let down or not. You cannot be both player and referee at the same time. Overall, the experience with Power cannot be worse. They claimed they were working hard to improve the situation. If it is indeed getting better, I will come back to update the review. But for now, I'd suggest anyone to avoid the business unless if you feel 130 days' of waiting for a warranty service is acceptable.

I had rotting plywood for soffits. The man that came said that they would cut it all out and put in new soffits. There was also old light fixtures that were in the soffits as well. I was told that they were going to test them with a volt tester and pull them out. When they came, they just started putting the new soffit over the rotting wood. I had them stop the job and they called the manager. He said that is what the job is. I told him to cancel the job. Then all of a sudden I was right. When they pulled the old wood down, some beams were rotted. The refused to replace them. They didn't take out the old light fixtures as promised, so I had to do it. They were just going to shove them up in the soffits. They also damaged the roof. They did come back and fix it after I called. They destroyed my garden with their ladders. After they left, I was pulling out chunks of garbage out of the flower beds. The gutters have gaps between the flashing and the gutter. I would never recommend them.

I was sold on the fact that they don’t do bait & switch like others in the industry. and the day of my pre install inspection I’m told that the roof would cost nearly $2800 more than what I signed up for because the 3rd party company they use for measurements got my roof dimensions wrong. Sounds like a problem between Power home remodeling & them, but instead they raise the price for me in the 11th hour.

This review is based on the premium price they charge, and the service you would expect from it. I believe they did a solid job on the roof. No way to tell except by looking at it and knowing there is a 50 year guarantee on it, which is great. But the cleanup after was terrible. There was enough rusty nails, some very large and standing straight up, to fill up a small bucket half-way. On top of that, I was first told that there would be zero nails (which is ridiculous). I was then told something more realistic that there could be a few nails leftover here and there, which is 100% fine. What was actually left was not fine. Then the problem came with the resolving of the issue. The manager of the Long Island office whom I spoke to was not apologetic at all, even though my family could have gotten hurt or my car could have gotten a flat (yes they left nails even in the driveway). I picked up about half the nails myself before realizing I should complain, so he proceeded to hint that there is nothing to resolve since I cleaned it up myself. So then I insisted that he send the cleanup crew because I refuse to pick up the rest. Then without saying he was going to schedule anything, basically proceeded to try and hang up on me. Basically Power Home Remodeling is not worth the premium price, because you do not get premium service.

If I could break down our experience into 3 stages, it would be: #1: 2/15/21 - the day the Power Sales Rep (Ian) came to our home (3:30PM-8:30PM) and sold us on the windows (3 stars; Ian was fantastic, but FIVE HOURS?????? Come on). #2: The 5.5 months that followed Ian's visit (0 stars; HORRIFIC). #3: 7/30/21 - Install Date (5 stars; Noah & crew were EXCELLENT). TOTAL STARS: 1 STAR due to LACK OF COMMUNICATION; RIDICULOUS DELAYS; WRONG INFORMATION GIVEN; ODD/WEIRD EXCUSES; GETTING THE RUN-AROUND; POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE; LACK OF EMPATHY. We already had a huge living room bow window with a 21-inch deep shelf and a dining room bay window. But these windows were over 25 years old, so we figured it was time to get new ones. To be fair in what you will soon realize below is a very long-winded review, the windows are very nice, and we are happy with the final product. Here goes . . . We met with Sales Rep, Ian, on 2/15/21, who thoroughly (in 5 hours) explained the 2 windows we were getting, & told us that “the L/R bow window shelf might be a FEW inches smaller”—not what I wanted, but not the worst thing either. He gave us an Install Date of 6/29/21 (a 17-week waiting period, not the 12- to 14-week period that is stated on the contract—but no biggie). We were warned, however, that the 6/29 date might be pushed out to about a week later (which is when we normally take our July 4th vacation). So just to be safe, we pushed out our vacation this year to 7/17/21 - 7/24/21, just in case the windows WERE going to be installed around 7/4. About a week or less after meeting with Ian in Feb., Mike (PII gentleman) took measurements and told us our new shelf would be SIGNIFICANTLY smaller, that we'd LOSE about 14 inches (NOT what Ian told us at all)! Both my husband & I heard Mike say this—we’re not crazy. That would leave us with a shelf that was 7 inches deep, compared to our old bow window with a 21-inch deep shelf. I explained to Mike that the shelf was one of the most important things about our bow window, that the 21-inch deep shelf we currently have is one of the best aspects of our window, so I asked if there was anything that could be done to make our new window deeper? Nothing. OK, I guess--not his fault. So . . . . . . a couple of days after Mike's visit in Feb., we called Power & questioned the dimensions & asked if someone could come back to re-measure, because we were very unhappy finding out AFTER we had placed our order that our bow window shelf would NOT be “just a few inches less deep” (than it currently was) like we were told by Ian, but would be 14 INCHES smaller. That’s an entirely different ballgame. So we were considering canceling if this is how the window & shelf were going to be. Sarah told us, "You can't cancel; the windows are already being made." Seriously? 5 days later, and they're already being made? I don’t think so. And no one was sent back to our home to remeasure for us, just to give us peace of mind. So from that date of the call with Sarah (in mid-Feb.) onward, my husband & I were losing sleep thinking that our windows were not going to be what we had wanted & ordered, & that we'd be stuck with something with which we were not happy and could not cancel or get out of. Four months later in mid-June (the week before our 6/29 Install Date), I called Power (no one called me) to confirm that they were, in fact, coming on 6/29. I was told that they had to reschedule (good thing I called them). No worries, though, right? We thought ahead months ago & already moved our July 4th vacation plans to accommodate Power who would possibly be moving their original Install Date. Nope. Not the case. Power told me the new Install Date was now going to be 7/23 (a MONTH after the original Install Date of 6/29--not a week). When I told them that it couldn't be then because we just moved our 4th of July vacation to that date range, they then moved it to Fri, 7/16. Not good because that was the day right before we were leaving for vacation. So, WE changed OUR vacation plans AGAIN to now sometime in August. Oh, & the reason for them rescheduling? "The windows were manufactured, but they're just not getting on the trucks to be delivered." WTH does that even mean anyway? A few days before the new Install Date of 7/16, Hunter called me to tell me that AGAIN, our 7/16 date had to be postponed. Reason? Same as above, but with a little extra: "Well, windows are fragile, & we want to make sure that there is enough room on the truck so that your windows don't break." LOL. Hunter put me down for 8/6, even though I told him about the already 2x we had moved our vacations, that it felt like WE were accommodating THEM, and NOT vice-versa. His response? "Sooooooo, August 6th then, OK?" Seriously??? ****** off, we called Dave who, from reviewing our file & before speaking with me, knew we were calling to (try to) cancel. After partially blaming COVID for all the date changes, he did finally get us an Install Date of 7/30. Funny--they're OK sending out their guys door-to-door during the peak of COVID in Feb. 2021 asking if we want work done, and are OK with having their Sales Rep INSIDE our house for FIVE HOURS during COVID to do his"shpeel". On the 7/30 Install Date, Foreman Noah & his crew showed up (they were wonderful). BTW, we asked Noah if he could confirm the depth of our shelf, which he did in 2 seconds. We weren't losing 14" like Mike told us months ago, but just losing 7". So Noah was able to confirm something in a few seconds that we had to wait 5-1/2 months for. Noah then pointed out that 1 out of our 2 windows (the 5-paned bow) that were still in the truck had two damages: a thick crack in the glass of one pane, and a dent in the vinyl on another. Ironic, being that "avoiding breakage & dents in an overcrowded truck" was the exact reason Hunter gave me for not having our windows delivered when promised on 7/16. Oh, and Hunter was right...windows ARE fragile. Ya think? On 7/30, we were told that the 1st week of September is when our 2 broken windows will be replaced (yes, it was going to take over ONE MONTH to fix damaged windows in an already installed bow window). Well, as expected, that “first-week in September” date was changed to 9/30. And guess what? Today is 9/30!!! And AGAIN, I had to call THEM the day before (which was yesterday) to confirm that they were coming today to replace our 2 damaged windows. As usual, I got the same old "...have not received the materials yet from the manufacturer" line. I called the Power Headquarters Customer Service (spoke to Rob), and the same exact line was told. And now the new date is supposedly mid-October. If that date does happen, it will literally be an EIGHT-MONTH JOURNEY with this lousy company. But I feel that it will be closer to Thanksgiving, if not later, for our two windows to be fixed. The only thing they can do for us is to "keep in contact with us to let us know what the status is". Excuse me, is that not normal protocol anyway? Isn't that something that a huge company like POWER Home Remodeling (or any good company with standards and morals, for that matter) should be doing with their customers already—keeping them abreast of any and all situations that may arise? Instead, they leave us hanging and leave ME to personally and directly deal with the bank whom we owe (because before the crew left on 7/30, we had to sign the paperwork, at which point our loan account became instantly active, and Power was paid IN FULL by the bank). THAT they got done right away—no waiting. When I spoke with Rob from Power Headquarters Customer Service yesterday (9/29), I told him that I would like to be compensated in some way for the almost eight-month hassle we’ve had to endure and ARE STILL enduring. I asked him if there was any way at all to give us a discount or to take off 20% or even 10% from our total price? Anything! Do SOMETHING!!! He did not answer at first and “talked around it”, mentioning to me that he “promises to put us at the top of their priority list” and that he “promises to call me all the time whenever he finds out anything new with our windows”. He actually called my question (of taking a percentage off our price) the “elephant in the room”. HUH??? ARE YOU KIDDING??? DO SOMETHING, POWER! ANYTHING!! MAKE YOUR CUSTOMER HAPPY! MAKE YOUR CUSTOMER WANT TO COME BACK TO YOU AND USE YOU AGAIN!!! They do not and will not BUDGE. Over the course of 7-1/2 months, I have spoken to about 7 Power workers—all of whom, while being nice to me, SUCKED and gave me EMPTY PROMISES and RIDICULOUS DATES and UNBELIEVABLE EXCUSES and a total RUNAROUND. My husband and I have gotten a pretty good amount of work done on our home, and we can honestly say that NEVER, EVER have we been treated this way. We NEVER had to accommodate the company. THEY accommodated US, and THEY kissed OUR butts. We have never been more enraged with a company than we are with Power, and Power does nothing. Not ONE THING. THEY HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL and don’t care about us. And how much you want to bet that if they see this review, they will do a “copy-and-paste” apology, as I see here on this website with other poor reviews? POWER HOME REMODELING IS HORRIBLE. THE WORST. NEVER AGAIN. EVER.
