Description of Work: We had a new roof put on. And they will also be putting new gutters in too.

Description of Work: My husband went to BJ's one afternoon and when he was leaving there were two men there showing window sample. He decided to make an appointment and have the guy come over for an estimate. We make the appointment for 6:30pm, the guy shows up 15 mins early and didn't leave my home after 10pm. He was trying so hard to sell us the window and the estimate we got was over $19,000 for 10 regular size windows, 5 basement window (hopper), and 1 very small attic window. Then he tell us if we make the decision today we will get extra discount (20% off). I was like can you give me till tomorrow morning and he was like no, once I leave this door the deal is gone. We felt pressure and overpriced so we decided not to do it with them.

Description of Work: removed old shingles and partial wood from house....replaced wood and added a power air vent with new paper (not tar) added ridge vents also.....also installed solar eclipse insulation in the entire attic. Also installed a small window in our basement.......best window ever! No drafts. | |This has been the best experience we have ever had with a company....they were punctual, curtious, experienced and professional....would recommend them to everyone.....a little pricey, but worth it....very pleased with job from beginning to end......Thank you Power Home Remodeling for a job well done!

Description of Work: Everyone we worked with was professional and punctual. We have no complaints with the work and clean up they did. However, you need a firm grip on the work "No" when they are offering you additional services as they seemed a tad pushy.

Description of Work: Sales Call for a roof; I was advised the meeting would take an hour from the individual who scheduled the appointment( not the salesman). The appointment was at 4:00 and the salesman did not leave until 6:45. After 1.5 hours at 5:30 I advised the salesman that I had another appointment and he would have to leave by 6:00. At 6:00 I reiterated I needed to leave, however the salesman would not go off script and cut to the chase. At 6:20 I asked the salesman to leave an he would not. My wife came home and the salesman proceeded to discuss everything we had discussed prior to her arrival. At 6:30 I asked the salesman again to leave and he kept going through the prices offering discounts if I signed today. Once again I advised I was not signing today and reiterated to please leave. Again the salesman continues to offer yet another discount if I let me take pictures during the roofing job. Again I advised I was not signing and asked the salesman to please leave. Finally the salesman left the premises at 6:45. I realize the company uses a script but evidenced by the discounts of almost 6k if I signed today they are up charging you. The salesman(or at least this one) will not leave your home when asked. This is impolite unprofessional as a homeowner should not have to request more than once for a salesman to leave the home. Be warned block at 3 hours unless your ready to sign on the dotted line. I hope the quality of workmanship is better than the scripted sales pitch. My experience of the salesperson at power home is likened to the wolf of wall street of roofing. I'm sure I'll get a response from the head of sales apologizing for this and this is not what we expect of our salespeople. But realize this homeowners the salespeople are trained in corporate headquarters or other locations and are trained to make no's into yes's. The head of sales only responds because it's on Angie's list. The reality is they could care less because they are getting a piece of every sale the salesman sells which is why the price is so high. They only discount the price to make it look like a great deal. Shop around homeowners.
