This was the second time we used Adirondack Basement Systems and were just as pleased this time around. Joe Toomey did the consult and estimate and even got me a military discount. In hindsight, we should have done all five of these the first time but we didn’t…. The fella who came was quick even in the frigid weather. Would recommend these folks anytime.

After struggling for months with a water leak in my basement, and costly efforts by a handyman, a plumber, a general contractor and a well company, none of which solved my problem, I reached out to Adirondack Basement Systems. What a breath of fresh air! My initial meeting was with design specialist, Jeff Stewart. He was so reassuring and knew exactly what the issue was and with illustrations, made a clear proposal of how to fix this.
My next contact was with service technician, John Kruk. With the same reassuring manner he took me to the basement, explained all details of the project in clear terms and got to work. Four hours later he took me back to the site of the leak and walked me through what he had done. All mess was totally cleaned up and my relief is immeasurable. If you have this sort of problem make Adirondack Basement Systems your first call. Amazing experience!

Description of Work: Adirondack Basement used push piers to raise one end of our house. I was satisfied with the actual job but the outside was left a mess and damage done to siding. I know the contract stated no landscaping would be done but I felt it should have been left in better condition.

Description of Work: Installation of a complete basement perimeter floor drainage system, triple-safe sump pump system and a basement egress window. Their representatives were very responsive and professional in all contacts. The work installations were completed on schedule, on time and with no delays. All employees were polite, explained all features in detail and repeatedly asked if there were any concerns to be addressed. These jobs were inherently dusty and messy; they made every effort to minimize this and cleaned up the worksite very well. The results were very good - you do pay for what you get but believe I did get what I paid for.

Description of Work: ABS installed the support I-beams against one basement wall that was bowing in a little to prevent further movement. They were prompt, professional, friendly and very responsive. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone or use them again in the future. All around, a very good experience.

Description of Work: I had a SaniDri dehumidifier installed in my basement. Sean was friendly and professional and explained the equipment thoroughly. I am very happy with the SaniDri! My entire house smells so much better. | |Last year Adirondack Basement did a huge job in my basement. I had my crawl space encapsulated, and the other half of my basement was completely done over to prevent water from entering. Sump pumps were installed, clean white wall and a new floor. The total cost was about $8,000.00. It was expensive, but totally worth it to me. The team from Adirondack did a wonderful job in a short amount of time and my basement is beautiful and more importantly, dry.

Description of Work: Needed an estimate for our basement. They advertise that they do everything basement but the gentleman that came to look at it said he couldn't help us. He offered to give a number to someone who could but never did. We had to call him for the number. Never apologized for not calling us back. Don't think we will be calling them in the future. Their advertising is very misleading.

Description of Work: They installed a new sump pit and basement dehumidifier. |Arriving right on time they started by making sure that all the occupied parts of the home were well protected from dust and dirt before starting to work. They worked quickly to complete the work within their estimated time frame. Provided me training on the new equipment and left everything clean as a whistle.

Description of Work: They braced a foundation wall, installed permanent sumps and underground drainage from the sumps, and placed tracking along the wall to direct water to the sumps. Everything was done timely and professionally. They quickly returned to solve a problem that appeared a few weeks later.

Description of Work: Larry came out to look at the moisture in our garage and helped us determine that the best solution to resolving it would be to address the problem from the outside and that setting up an interior system would not be the most feasible and practical approach in our situation. I was very impressed with his ability to identify the problem and his honesty and professionalism in not trying to sell us something we didn't need.

Description of Work: They did get back to me finally and we will see. Their date to come give an estimate is a month from today. Will see how it goes with the estimate. They also sent an informative packet of information. Original input Sent and email to them telling them that I wanted an estimate on an egress window for my basement. No response. Called them over a week later and told them I wanted and egress window estimate but had no response. They apologized and said they would get someone to contact me quickly. It has been over a week and no response yet.
