Shawn is truly amazing! From the initial consultation through the project's completion he was professional, extremely fair, intuitive and just a really nice guy. He was able to translate exactly what we wanted into real life. We have never been so pleased with a contractor and their work. We can't believe what he turned our kitchen and living room into. It far exceeds our expectations (and our expectations are high to say the least) We will be using Shawn and his crew for every project we ever tackle. That also goes for my in laws and neighbors!

, Shawn and his guys did an amazing job painting and doing custom work on the inside of our house. My husband and I recently bought this house, which is old and needs a lot of love and attention. We knew that painting the inside of our house would require tremendous attention to detail and meticulous care. We needed someone who would not rush through the job since there was an extraordinary amount of prep work -- lots and lots of cracks, nail holes, wallpaper removal, etc. Shawn carefully reviewed what needed to be done, and he gave us a detailed quote. We appreciated that he didn?t try to broaden the scope of work, which is easy to do in an old house. Instead, after listening to our plans for the house, Shawn suggested that we put off certain aspects of the job until later stages, thinking it was a waste of our money. For example, he questioned our interest in removing wallpaper in our bathroom now, if we were planning a renovation of that bathroom next year. We really appreciated his thoughtfulness in how we were spending money. Impressive. Shawn made every-single aspect of working together easy. He is extremely responsive, calling or texting me to keep us up-to-date on the project, and responding to my endless questions. When he found a problem, like ?we took out the cabinets that you wanted removed, and we found that there?s no molding. Do you want us to put molding in? It should cost about $___.? In an old house, there are lots of surprises, and Shawn kept us informed, and he provided us with thoughtful solutions. Although Shawn didn?t expand the scope of work, my husband and I did. Often times he didn?t even charge us. Who does that? And when the work required someone else to handle it, like an electrician, Shawn always knew of someone capable and professional to help us. He made all of the introductions and coordinated the efforts. We were delighted with everyone he suggested. I told Shawn that working with him is like going to the spa! He handled our every need. Shawn is hardworking, dependable, meticulous, responsive and a great problem solver. We will continue to work with Shawn, and we highly recommend him.

Fantastic job! I called Shawn hoping to find someone who could fix the mess I started by tackling this painting job myself. I was hoping to get it done before company arrives on Saturday. Shawn accommodated me! Nick, the painter arrived on time with Shawn and reviewed the job. The work began immediately. Nick worked quickly, quietly, and cleanly. He paid attention to all of the details and was so pleasant. The job was done before I could blink my eyes and it came out great!

When our son?s bedroom needed ?teenage years? restoration, my wife convinced me that we wanted to do more than just spackle and paint, opting to include wainscoting and fancy trim. Luckily, Precision Trim and Paint was our first call. Shawn not only understood exactly what we wanted, but also made a number of suggestions we hadn?t considered. Just a few days later the job was done and the room was transformed and ready for carpet. Shawn is great. Perfect execution of work. On the day he and his crew were supposed to come, we had just lost power due to a hail storm. Shawn brought his own portable generator out to our house to do the work regardless. Very impressed with the quality of the work. Not the cheapest but totally worth it.

Turned out to be a tougher job than expected due to latex paint on top of oil based that had to be removed. They still got it done in the covered time and cost.

Shawn did an excellent job! His crew were efficient and polite and he kept my house very neat. He spread paper across all the floors and cleaned up all the dust from the sanding. He ended up having more prep work to do than expected and didn't charge me extra. His team removed all of the imperfections, paint marks, nail holes etc from all the walls, doors and trims and now my house looks like new! Shawn was great at providing his professional opinion without being intrusive or pushy. Shawn is honest and hardworking. I would recommend Precision Paint & Trim without any reservations. His company's motto is "to do right by the customer" and I believe he really means that.

Shawn and his crew were great. This started out as a wallpaper removal and painting project but they were very responsive to our needs and worked within a modest budget to help upgrade our house for a pending sale. He coordinated well with other service providers including electrician, plumber and wood floor refinisher. Shawn has the ability to solve problems and create practical solutions using his carpentry skills without breaking the bank. We now have the house on the market and I am confident that our return on investment will be 50-100%.

Job overview and our assessments: Shawn was very attentive and kept me informed every step. He responded to all my daily "punch list" and if he saw something that would be a better solution he offered his professional opinion. He responded quickly to any emails or text messages I sent. Shawn and/or his crew were at the job everyday as promised and Shawn personally called me in the evenings to ask how the job was going and if I had anything that needed attending to (I did leave him daily notes and comments which he always responded to). The job did run over an extra 1.5 days, but I knew why and had no problem with it, he even offer to stay late and finish if that was an issue, but it wasn't. The job itself was very detailed orientated and tedious in part because our walls and ceilings needed a lot of 'attention'. My wife and I were not home during the day counting on Shawn and his crew to respect our home and work diligently, I'm happy to report they did both. My home was cleaned and everything tidied up at the end of each work-day when we got home. My daily "punch list" would be checked off or comments left by each item on the list. Shawn would call about every other night to check in with me and responded quickly to any phone, text or e-mails I sent him. We elected to purchase the materials ourselves and Shawn offered to pick up anything we missed or that couldn?t be delivered no problem and no xtra charge. We did add to the job, which of course added to the cost, but Shawn was fair in his pricing and didn?t nickel and dime us. We appreciated that because it allowed us to get the job done just as we wanted even with the added work within a reasonable budget. The work, when finished, was beautiful, professionally done and receives nothing but positive comments to anyone who sees it. I've had numerous contractors do work in and around my home over the years and was usually disappointed, Shawn and his crew not only didn't disappoint they actually met our expectations. If nothing else you want to know - know this: I will consider Precision Trim and Paint first for some future projects still on our 'to do list' for upgrading our home. That says a lot.

Shawn and Matt did a great job! The estimate came in promptly and they arrived on time to do the work. Shawn was very straight up in scoping out the work that needed to be done. The ceiling had a patch of peeled paint over an old leak that had been repaired. Another painter painted over it a year or two ago, but the paint peeled quickly. Shawn said he had not primed it properly. This crew pri Ed it properly so it should hold. They we're in and out of here in less than 3 hours and did a good job with covering furniture and cleaning up. I would use them again and have asked for a quote on exterior power washing. If they are competitive, I plan to use them.

I originally purchased a deal of $199 for wood rot repair a while ago. Due to the snow, we had to postpone until the weather got better. Shawn kept in touch with me and an app't. was set up for today. He and his helper arrived on time. They replaced a section of wood trim along the side of the house and also the area of the outside molding of the sliding door that was rotten due to water damage. They did an excellent job and cleaned up before they left. Before Shawn left, I hired him to paint one bedroom in a few weeks.

Sean and his team were excellent. They started and finished the job early. They did little things for us that were not part of the contract (like move a sofa we couldn't get out of a room). The residence that they worked on is our second home, so everyday Sean would send me photos of their work in progress. This was a great perk, since we were excited about the work and weren't there to see it. Most importantly, this company does beautiful, quality work for a very fair price. Sean referred me to other local services I needed since we are new to the area, that have also proven to be reliable and of great quality. We completely trusted him in our home when we weren't there. Highly, highly recommend this company. You will NOT have to worry about any of the normal contractor "headaches". Super nice team which also helps!

It was okay. The biggest thing was I didn’t read the fine print. So I was disappointed and I know it was my own fault for not reading the fine print. But I won't be purchasing any more big deals. They did what was in the fine print of the big deal. The painter was very pleasant. He did a good job. I bought paint from where they had asked me to buy it from. It was twice the price if I had gone to a retail store. Unfortunately, they didn’t mix the paint properly. So instead of having a tan room, I have a purple room. I already paid the big deal to have the room painted. As far as the painter and his quality of painting, it was good. I think it was overpriced for what was in the fine print. When we see a room being painted, we think that the room is going to be painted. But then when he came here, he told me that he hoped that I had read the fine print and that it was only for this size room which was a small room with no trim involved and there's no ceiling. It’s just the flat walls. I didn’t bring up any issues with the service. They responded right away. They called, and they came when they said they would. The painter himself was very professional. Even when he got finished and opened the door to the room, he asked me if I really wanted a purple room. The price was a little high.

It went very well. Shawn came to her house promptly at 8am with a helper and began work. He finished the job earlier than expected, so we asked him to do some additional carpentry work for us. He was very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable and professional. My husband and I both love the work he did. It looks absolutely great and we highly recommend him.!

Shawn responded promptly to the message I left on his voicemail and showed up same day for an estimate on a painting project in my house. He was very straightforward and presented himself as friendly and professional worker and not a salesman- which I liked. He made me feel like I was getting service provided by a man who takes pride in his craft and wants to do a quality job above all else. The job was for the more intricate details of cutting in my walls and ceilings as well as painting existing trim work in my old house that I am in the final stages of renovating. The 2 painters Shawn sent (Nick and Matt) were beyond reproach and worked fast and masterfully. They finished the original task so quickly that they were able to also roll out additional coats of paint and do a small room for me which I had not expected to be accomplished in the time frame I had allotted. The job went fantastically. From the first contact with Shawn, the owner, he and his assistant were prompt, respectful, and very professional. The trim looks wonderful and they chalked and cleaned up the areas inside as well as the garage. (They used the attached garage to cut the trim.) I was contacted promptly. I sent pictures of the room. It is not a big room and I was not looking to spend that much extra money over the $289 already spent with Angie' s List. I understand with the moldings and prep work that need to be done it requires more time as they explained it, but I would not be able to move forward with the work at the price point given.

When the project was agreed upon and scheduled, it was anticipated that the material to be removed in order to do the repairs would be drywall. After arriving, upon examining the damage, the wall and ceiling material was determined to be plaster rather than drywall. Although Precision knew that working with plaster would be more labor-intensive and time-consuming than working with drywall, they performed the work and honored the price we originally agreed upon. I sincerely appreciate Precision's integrity and accountability. I am also very pleased with the quality of their workmanship. I would not hesitate to use Precision Trim & Paint for future work.
