Angies List was right again. I chose Standguard based on favorable ratings and proximity to my home. Henry the owner came the same day to estimate the job. A couple of days later installation technicians came and installed various sensors, 2 carbon monoxide sensors and 3 control panels. (My house has 34 windows and 4 doors - checked around; the price he gave was competitive). The installation process went well, they were neat, they cleaned up after themselves. They taught us how to use the system. One time we had a problem on a weekend evening and Henry the owner answered my call on the 2nd ring and gave us advice. (One of the meters beeped on and off). We called and they came within 2 hours and replaced the part. I am pleased with their price and customer service. I like that you deal with the owner directly.

It was a great experience. Hank and his team respond quickly and helped us get our home security system working properly.

I cannot recommend Standguard enough. I contacted them to setup an appointment to install a security system at my house. They were diligent in getting back to me. I can be hard to reach because of my job but they kept trying until they got a hold of me. They were able to come almost right away and gave me what I thought was a VERY fair quote to install a wireless home alarm system which included all of my doors, 28 windows, motion detector, etc. I hired them on the spot and they came back and installed the alarm system just a few days later. They were very thorough in showing me how everything worked and made sure I understood everything. It was a very smooth process and Hank and his team are very relatable and professional!

I can't begin to say enough about this company and the staff---Awesome! Very professional and very patient with all my questions. The price was right and you deal with Hank the owner. A great company to do business with.

after numerous problems with ad&t alarm company i decided to switch companys and went with standguard.and I am so happy I did not only did I get a better alarm for less money.my monthly rate is less . there was very professional and most all show up on time and clean up after them self. did not keep me waiting.

We were planning to install a system before leaving for vacation, but I procrastinated. By the time I called Standguard, there was maybe one week left before our departure. Standguard was very accommodating, scheduling an appointment within days of my call. The gentleman who showed up to install the system was prompt and very professional. He was careful not to damage anything and cleaned up after himself. The system works perfectly and when we've accidently set it off, the representative l spoke to was very nice. All in all, we are very happy with the system and the service.

After a year and a half of abuse, poor service and disrespect by a geothermal company (the project is still ongoing), my mother decided to get a security system for her newly constructed home but didn't expect much in the way of service. She called many companies to come in for an estimate, which sometimes took a week or more but then she called STANDGUARD SECURITY, INC. in Massapequa, LI. This company is a breath of fresh air!! When she called, she didn't speak to a machine. She spoke to Hank the owner. He promised to come over the next day, which he did. The price wasn't the least expensive but it was very fair and he promised the system would be installed THE NEXT DAY! Are you kidding? Sure enough she told me that Chris and Bobby were there early the next morning and worked the entire day to get the system in place. They were extremely friendly and cordial and were quite patient in answering questions about the new keypad. Since that time last month there have been 2 problems with the system. The first time Chris showed up THE SAME DAY to fix the problem and the second time Hank apologized but Chris would be there the NEXT DAY, which he was! This kind of service is amazing! Mom is so happy with Standguard Security and therefore I am so happy. If we could give this company an A++++ rating, we would!

I had a problem with the alarm transformer and called Hank. He picked up immediately, got in contract with his team, and within 30 minutes his team was at my house. Bobby and Chris are true professionals and fixed my problem within 5 minutes. I am impressed with the responsiveness, coordination, and great customer service provided by the Standguard team. Bobby and Chris did the installation and did a professional and clean job. They also spent time walking through how the system worked and made sure we were comfortable operating it before they left.
