It went very smoothly. Ian was very informative and helpful, and he came prepared to set up the security system on the same day, which made for a very quick and efficient process.

Hank and his son Ian were great! I called them in the morning and they came same day in the afternoon. provided me with a quote right away on the spot. Told them we could do it and they were here 5 days later putting new sensors in every window and door and also adding 3 smoke detectors and 2 carbon monoxide detectors. Highly recommend them!

Very badly. System did not work as promised. Additional charges were made that we were not aware of. Had problems from the very beginning. Then today I had a service call to see if it could be fixed. The owner screamed at me and was not the 1st time. I just retired from a company I ran for 33 years and I never screamed at a client. He wanted a $75 service charge and I told him no that it was a service call and should be no charge! Well he left with his equipment and I told him I would be writing up a bad review about his company Standguard Security and here it is. Kevin M O'Brien

I would absolutely hire them if I had to do it all over again. Very understanding and very knowledgeable with extremely competitive pricing. They use excellent equipment! They were very prompt and a pleasure to work with. The installation was seamless for the alarm system and for the camera surveillance system. They finished the entire job for both systems in a big home within a couple of days. Very pleased with the entire team. Hire them! A few weeks before I closed on my house I called Standguard and a few other companies to shop prices for a new security system. During my first call with Hank, he was extremely helpful in walking me through the pricing of all the options. He asked a lot of questions to get to know the house and what I was looking for. After our initial call, Hank followed up with me a few weeks later (around the time of my closing, as I had mentioned to him when we were expected to close). The thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed. When I called to schedule installation, I assumed it would be a few weeks before we had our system installed. Nope... they called me back to let me know they picked up all the parts needed for my home and they the team would show up the next day for installation. The whole installation was done in under 3 hours! I can't speak highly enough about Ian and Joe, who installed our system. Friendly, professional, knowledgable are a few adjectives I would use to describe this team. After installation, I had a few questions, which were answering immediately when calling. The system itself is sleek and simple to use. Top of the line equipment aside, let me be clear, the team is what made this experience absolutely wonderful.

Hire them! I can't explain how tedious this job was, my boss is not an easy person to work with and they made it seamless. They completed a massive job, in less than 3 days which included hardwiring camera's all over a massive property and a detached garage. They had excellent communication and were very easy to work with. I mean - the owner wanted one thing, then another, oh and another, oh wait this too. THEY DIDN'T BAT AN EYE. Do yourself a favor, hire them! They listen, they're honest and get the job done.

They were responsive creative and very accommodating . Put together a string system at a reasonable price and installed it very promptly.

Could not have been better. They showed up on time, did the installation and spend almost an hour explaining the system. I had a follow-up question concerning geo-fencing. It was taken care of the next day. The work was clean, efficient and professional. I received two phone calls to see if I had any questions or additional concerns.

Responded quickly and took the time to explain the requirements even though he would not be able to do the work. Would absolutely consider if I needed a security system. Very professional and helpful. Thank you!

IT went absolutely excellent! I just upgraded my entire home security system. The guys who installed were extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They did an excellent job in home and put in a state of the art system. I feel totally safe in my home now. They were very patient, explained to me how to use the system and are very easy to reach. When you call the number for ANY issues at any time. The owner always answers and takes care of answering any of my questions or concerns. I have been with Stanguard for close to 20 years now and would do business with no other company.

The owner, Hank, walked me thru their system, explaining costs and available options No sales pressure and after checking his reviews as opposed to other vendors, went with Standguard. I hired Hank from Standguard to do a full security system in our home, and from the first meeting we knew he was the right choice. We love that he’s a family owned and operated company and local so that we know who our contact people are and that we can reach them anytime we need to. The installation went so smoothly and was done by his son’s and staff., I felt very comfortable with them in our home and the level of detail and time they took to explain everything and understand what we needed and wanted was great. highly recommend them!

It was great. They were prompt and courteous. No one tried to oversell me a system I didn't need. Initially I spoke on the phone with Hank about what I might need. When Chris and Joe (?) showed up to do the installation they looked at the house and came up with a good plan for giving me what I needed without spending a fortune. I am very pleased.

Hank Hauer, the owner, was prompt and responsive to our home security needs. He did not try to oversell his product or push unnecessary features to our system. The installers actually finished the installation in less time than provided for and even saved us money with suggestions that cut the cost.

I called Hank, the owner, to discuss my requirements for an alarm system for my elderly parents' home: I needed something full coverage, simple-to-operate, and without a long-term contract that might become problematic if my folks needed to move from their home for health reasons. Hank answered all my questions and proposed a system and arrangement that fully met my needs. The installers were professional and efficient, and took the time to explain the system's operation. When a faulty smoke detector caused an alarm when my parents were away from the home, Hank and team were terrific in following up (even after hours) and immediately scheduling a replacement for the defective device. I highly recommend this company.

From start to finish Standguard Security was professional and reliable. Worked around my schedule, addressed all my concerns and was extremely easy to work with. Would use them again for adding to my system. They were able to do a job that other companies couldnt. Great experience from the start - highly recommend!

Hank, Chris, and their assistants were a pleasure to work with. They stopped by during kitchen demo to make sure our old system would still be usable, and then arrived promptly on the day of installation. Explained the new 2gig keypad system and answered all my questions. Always responded promptly to a couple of my follow up calls as well. Love the 2gig app which makes it super easy to arm/disarm the system while away from home. Monitoring cost seems a bit high but at least goes to a company that has provided great service so far.

I've been looking around for a home security system and decided to go with Standguard. The installation was amazingly easy. The installers were so polite and accommodating- (i.e.: take your time to decide where you want the panel, show us where you would like the fire alarm- are you happy with it here?) They answered every question I had.. The price was competitive with no hidden surprise charges the day of install. And, I love the ease of the app to arm and disarm the system. I 'm SO happy I chose this company!
