Michael did a wonderful job. He is a true professional who takes great care and pride in his work. His estimate was bang on. The wallpaper we purchased for the job was fairly expensive and slightly tricky to work with because of the repeating pattern and fragility of the material. At first we could not understand why it would take 3 days to hang wallpaper in a moderately sized room, but after seeing the preparation and care that was required and that Michael took, we were convinced that Michael was the right person for the job. Even though we used the wallpaper manufacturers website to determine the number of rolls needed for the job, when Michael came to give us the estimate, he indicated that we may be a bit short because of the pattern repeat. He was indeed correct and was really great about coming back 4 days later to complete the job once the additional wallpaper had arrived.

Had upcoming party in our showroom. Needed our old wallpaper removed and new wallpaper put up. Michael's quote was substantially less than three other quotes we got. He removed the wallpaper and began to put up the new paper. Someone from our store damaged the new paper while using the room and he was able to remove the wallpaper and put it in a less visible spot, otherwise we would not have had enough wallpaper for the job and it would not have been done in time for the party.

Michael was immediately responsive when I called him, and came over to give a very reasonably-priced estimate for the job. He was punctual, prepared, did excellent work, and was careful about the procedures. He explained options re processes, and did some cleaning up afterwards as well. He even called a friend to get a second opinion when we encountered a problem in the middle of the job, and then completed the work very carefully, neatly and professionally. He was also pleasant and conversational.

This began as a very sad story of severe water damage from the apartment upstairs. Michael arrived and was like the favorite handy brother-in-law you always wanted; the one who just calmly does what needs to be done. even if it goes beyond the contracted scope, and, this was done mostly within the original budget. We thought we were just having wallpaper removed and some necessary painting done. As you can see above, one thing led to another. One particularly wonderful surprise was getting our two old-paint-encrusted medicine chests and hampers to actually close for the first time since I moved here over 30 years ago! For some of the work, Mike brought in an assistant who was also very professional. Together, they repaired, plastered and renovated the hall walls which had been very seriously water damaged. The "story" which began as a horror story with the water damage had a happy ending thanks, in large part to Michael.

I phoned Mike one week ahead of my arrival in NY. I was only going to be in town for a few days. He was able to schedule the job during the time I'd be there. He brought 1 assistant and they carefully moved furniture, rolled up my area rug, covered the floor in plastic and got to work. Even though they were coming back the next day to paper a second wall, they put away all their equipment and cleaned up. Both wallpapers were patterns that needed to be matched at the seams. They did a great job and were very pleasant.

Everything went very amazing. Michael arrived and came with a very reasonable estimate. Upon commencing the job, he did a wonderful job. Nice guy. Hard worker.

Everything went very well. Michael arrived when he said he would to provide an estimate, provided a very reasonable estimate, started the work when he said he would, did a beautiful job (taking care with the architectural details) completed on time, and cleaned up afterwards. He is easy to work with and have around, and he is a real craftsman.

He was very punctual and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He did excellent work. He was very friendly and easy to be with. When he came for the estimate he actually was able to tell me how much paper to order. He was completely right! It was a very fair price and he finished early. I would use him at any time for any wallpapering or paint job. I recommend him highly.
