Response from Queen City Construction
Wow...sometime one has to question who writes these things and their motives. Nov 1, 2007 we completed a small project for this customer. The house had good “bones” but it was money pit in waiting because of years of neglect, there was a large blue tarp covering a portion of the roof. We were contacted by the customer to repair her kitchen ceiling because she had apply for home equity loan and was told that the repaired needed to be done before they processed her loan. There was a leak from a 2nd floor bathroom and the water damage had cause a portion of the ceiling to collapse, the plumber who did the repair had open the ceiling to get to the pipes. We were asked to install drywall in these areas, it was a bear bone project: she didn’t want it taped nor painted. We did add an access panel, in case the pipes leaked again there would be no need to open up the ceiling. We can provide an estimate outlining the scope of the job, we have copy of her check (Sign and Dated Nov 2, 2007) and we have before and after pictures. Now 2+ years later she writes a negative report. This makes no sense. She was happy with the job, so much so, that she referred us to her friends and family. If were not professional, why refer us to her friends and family. The only thing that we could think off is that something recently happened and she is blaming us. But all we did was drywall area that had been left open from a plumbing repair several years earlier. Even this report doesn’t make sense, she gives us fairly high marks, but states that she wouldn’t hire us again. This is just a person’s opinion and she is entitled to it, but it is unfair and bias.
