They are very good. Clean up after themselves. They plant grass seed, the smooth over the hole they dug.

After having another plumbing co. do the work incorrectly, RIC came in did the work and cleaned up and landscaped the affected yard. They were professional and i checked with my township on their reputation. I have already recommended to several friends. If you need an excavation call RIC.

Scott (Rick's son) and Marty arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. We needed a gas hookup to our new dryer which required about 11 feet of pipe hooked into an existing gas line. It would require 1 tee fitting, a union, an elbow and a valve. They looked at the job and got right to work. They were finished in a little over an hour. They also intalled the connection to the dryer and the dryer vent tubing which was above and beyond our original discussion. Essentially installed the dryer and it is working perfectly. They also suggested we get a carbon monoxide detector for that area of the basement as we have a gas dryer, furnace and hot water tank all in the same area, not required by code but they were concerned for our safety. They also fixed our temperature controlled shower valve that I mentioned was only giving luke warm water. The total charge was $163.12. It was the best plumber experience I have ever had and will call RIC plumbing again if the needed. They are excellent plumbers.

Mr. Rick Kuhns responded to our call right away and came to our house to check about the water provblem. I could not find the reason for the warter that seemed to be coming through the basement floor. Mr. Kuhns checked the complete system and then discovered that the condenser pump on the air conditioner was the problem. Very professional and thorough. I would highly reccommend this company.

Our home's previous homeowners tied the sump pump directly into the sewer system, which is against our town's code. Per the home inspection, they and quot;fixedand quot; the issue, by running a discharge line outside the house and to the rear (directly adjacent to the rear foundation). Long story short, the and quot;fixand quot; was poorly done-- the line froze in the winter, pretty much rendering the sump pump useless. I called RIC Plumbing around April and requested an estimate. Rick and his son Adam came out to our house--very courteous, friendly and understanding guys. We were happy with their plan of action and price, so we asked them to do the job. They advised it'd be at least a month, to allow time for the newly-thawed ground to harden up a bit. Around May, I had to reschedule due to a last-minute business trip-- again, Rick was kind, understanding, and accommodating. About a week before the job, Rick called and asked if June 23 was okay--I agreed. A few days later, the city/gas companies had marked up the property to designate where the lines were, all part of the procedure. On June 23, Adam and his partner MArty arrived to our house early and immediately began work. It started raining shortly into the job process, but this stopped neither of them-- they had all outside/underground work finished by 9:30. The job was temporarily postponed due to the city inspector, who was spread pretty then that day, I guess. He stopped by around 11:30 and approved everything. Once that happened, Marty and Adam covered everything up and even laid out grass seed and watered it! (which has already begun to grow in quite nicely due to the rain we've had). Once that was done, Adam went to our basement to set up a pipe to connect our sump pump to the outside drainage line they just laid. The line went through our foundation, but everything was sealed nice and tight. He tested the new drainage line, and everything worked beautifully. I asked if he wouldn't mind disconnecting the old drainage line the previous homeowners put in, and he quickly did so. A week later and everything is going great. The folks at RIC did a fantastic job, were prompt, professional and cleaned everything up. If we ever have any future drainage-related issues, RIC will definitely be getting my business. Great company, all around.

Not only were they punctual and proffessional, the work was completed on schedule and they did a great job replacing the bubbler. Scott is a terrific guy with an excellent work ethic. I highly recommend this company.

got this service from Angie's list. He gave me an estimate to put in a exterior drainage line from my sump pump. He showed up on time to give me the RFQ and explained in detail his proposal. Although I had to wait longer than he quoted(due to extreme weather conditions) they notified of the delays and arrived on the day they had ultimately promised. they performed the service requested in a professional manner and their cleanup efforts exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this contractor and have actually scheduled future work through this firm.

The project from start to finish was completed with professionalism; I called last month with sewer pipe problem from the house. Several contractors provided a wide-range of issues. I called R.I.C., Rick returned my call, set an appointment, and came out to my home to talk with me about my problem. Several areas I considered important which R.I.C. did well exceeded my expectations: 1. Returned my call 2. Kept the initial appointment 3. Listened and asked questions 4. Provided several scenarios from best to worst (based upon the condition of the sewer pipe from my house to the street) 5. Provided company insurance information and professional quote 6. Scheduled the work with flexibility 7. The team arrived on time, talked with me, set expectations, and addressed my concerns (even showed me via a camera my sewer line all the way to the street). 8. Completed the work and left my front landscaping better than they found it including placing my sprinkler system line and heads back in place (all other contractors said I had to arrange the sprinkler system and landscaping back at my expense) I am very impressed with the experience and will think of R.I.C. for my entire future sewer needs (not too soon I hope), and share my experience with my friends and neighbors.

Rick ( owner ) showed up for estimate on time. Explained all issues related to project and patiently answered all questions. Quote was significantly lower than other estimates. Stated that estimate was worse case , Workers (4) showed up on time. with all materials and tools necessary. Ricks 2 adult sons Scott and Adam were the crew leaders. All work extremely well organized and efficent. Drop cloths placed on stairs and entrance to basement. I was told that it could possibly take two days, but could finish today if all went well. It went very well. Job completed in just over 6 hours, including immaculate clean-up. Willing answered all questions, and there were many. Neighbors all impressed with job. Rick stopped by later to ask how things went. Said that since job went smoother than expected he reduced the bill substantially.True professionals that I would ,without qualms, hire again and refer to others

It went perfectly. Nobody wants to spend this money on something you do not see, but the work needs to be done. They gave me a verbal estimate without me having to be there. He called me two days before they could do the work. I was told they would be there between 7:30AM and 8:30AM. Right at 7:31AM their trucks rolled up to my house. I was given a plan as to what they would be doing. I was encouraged to come outside and watch their work. Luckily nothing else was wrong with my underground pipes so the estimate was exactly what I paid. It took them only 5 hours to finish, which included digging 8 feet down through my driveway! They filled the hole with stone all the way to the top and hauled away the bad soil. They did a great job cleaning up. Their professionalism and hard work was top notch. If you need work done always get a few estimates but I would definitely recommend them and use them again (hopefully I won't have to!)

Overall we were very satisfied with the work. We will use them again in the future.

This was part of a larger driveway/backyard renovation. The plumbers came in after the driveway had been excavated, dug trenches to install the drain tile and connections to the sewer line, and then backfilled everything with gravel (just as the concrete contractor had asked). We asked them if we could keep the dirt, and they put it exactly where we said to put it. They even dug a trench for us unrelated to the plumbing so we could install some electrical lines to the garage.

They said they would be here at 8am and at 8am four trucks pulled up. The crew couldn't have been more professional or efficient. They had contacted the utilities and my town so they all arrived at exactly the right time for marking location (utilities) and for inspection prior to closing the ground (town inspector). They tried very hard to dig with minimal damange to my landscaping. They dug on either side of the sidewalk wherever possible and slid the new pipe under to avoid damaging the concrete, except for one place where they had to cut a 6 inch trench through the sidewalk to reach a broken drain. Before they left they had replaced the concrete, sod was replaced where possible and where it couldn't be replaced they had tamped down and leveled the ground, seeded and covered the seed with peat moss. They hosed my driveway and swept the sidewalk. They even hosed down my grass so everything looked as close to how they found it as humanly possible. I can't wait for a heavy rain to see if it all works, but I am very confident it will.
