When I called them, I spoke with Dana and explained that I had only 2 pieces of furniture to move in my house. Dana was very nice and quoted the price of $75.00 which I thought was very reasonable. She said that her company could move the furniture either the next day which was a Friday or even on Saturday. I told her I would have to call back. My niece was not able to come for the sofa for another week so I called Square Deal back on Friday and Dana said they could come that day. I was contacted later by the owner who gave me a time that we agreed on. He and his helper were very professional, punctual, and extremely careful when moving the couches so as not to damage anything. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely call them again in future.

The move went great. Per their instructions, I had everything boxed up - everything, I was ready to go. They quoted me 4 hours to do the move, and we had taken 4.5 hours, but given that it was the middle of winter, I thought we made great time. I was very happy with the move, the crew took good care of my beloginings, were curtious, and worked hard. I gave them a B under timeliness, only for the reason I was given a arrival quote of and quot;between 8-10amand quot; in the morning. Square deal provides movers and packaging items, but not the truck. I rented the truck, and based on their 4hour estimate, rented the truck that needed to be returned by 3 in the afternoon. Although I was only a 1/2 hour late, and the truck company did not care, in the future I would ask Square to provide a more precise arrival window, because they came right at 10am, on time, but at the extreme end of the window.

Reasonably priced, courteous, efficient, professional with a family member's move. Two members of the company arrived at storage unit on time ready to load and haul to new residence. They came prepared with materials due to inclement weather we were experiencing on this move out day. They then went to old residence to load remainder of belongings. This moving company made the entire move without incident, and seem so effortless. They were fast and efficient, and handled our belongings with much care. I would definitely recommend this company for your next move, as I would call them again for future moves.

Excellent! Punctual, professional, friendly, surprisingly well prepared, respectful careful and efficient. Had no trouble with my large long dresser up a difficult flight of stairs. And no trouble getting a large and quot;heavyand quot; toolbox into a difficult to access basement. Assembled items and even folded the furniture pads as they went. Much better than the crew who loaded us in Queens. I would use them again anytime. Jeff and his crew are excellent and we plan on using them in the future.

It went very well. I am very pleased with the service provided. The workers were extremely cautious when moving the toolbox because it was in a very difficult spot in our house. I was nervous other items in our house might have been damaged however, they took their time and made sure the toolbox wasn't damaged along with our other personal items. The tools were wrapped carefully not too damage and the drawers were safely secured. My husband and I work 6 days a week and they only day we could have the item moved was on a Sunday. Typically businesses are closed on Sunday. However, Square Deal Moving was willing to work with us and make accommodations based on our schedule. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism, friendly service and price. Other companies quoted my move higher and were unable to perform the move on a Sunday. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to make a move!

They were VERY flexible and accommodating about scheduling, especially when other contractors' screw-ups necessitated a last-minute shift in plans! I would definitely recommend them, and call them again if I needed help with a small move. I appreciated that when asked, they were more than willing to respect my need for care and attention to detail. That matters to me when someone is moving my prized belongings (like me grand piano!).

First they were five hours late. They part way loaded a 20 foot Uhaul truck. Never finished. Took pizza break, and then seemed to really fall down in quality. Jeff who apparently is the owner was rude and obnoxious. Demanded a $300 cash tip. We paid for pizza and their break and gave them all the cash we had $180 that they don't claim we gave them. We also placed a $49 deposit. When asked for an invoice at that time, Jeff said he had only one copy--his. They claim they could not give us an invoice even after the fact. We stopped payment on the rest of the bill, and asked several times for a copy of the invoice. They did not give us one. The quote was not honored. After repeated phone calls to them I was told a different amount each time. I was sent an MMS of a handwritten invoice again different amount. They went to the police with an invoice--a signed one that neither of us signed--- and the stopped check, and they the tried to put a warrant out for our arrest. All for asking for an invoice. Jeff who apparently is the owner was rude and obnoxious. They claim they could not give us an invoice even after the fact. We stopped payment on the rest of the bill, and asked several times for a copy of the invoice. They did not give us one. The quote was not honored. I was told a different amount each time. Notice now they have one, falsely signed. The conclusion basically is never use this company. First Update: If you look at the response below You will see distortions. They fail to mention the cash or the $49 deposit. Also no police were called in Kentucky to complain about police in Syracuse. I have no idea where they even obtained this IDEA. It seems very odd, but lies to make someone look better are quite common. In actuality my criminal attorney needed a case number. There was never a case number, nor apparently evidence provided. They spoke to the person at the front desk of the sherriff's office who only took down my information, and called me to threaten a warrant for arrest if I did not send proof of the resolution, namely them getting paid yet a different amount, albeit less. No case file, existed period. I checked this with another officer. This was true. When I spoke to the deputy she said that she wanted to solve this civilly, which I queried amicably, she said, and quot;Yes.and quot; In sum, there was never a criminal case. Also Eiite Moving who is located in Florida is who I hired. Square Deal is a subcontractor. Elite has agreed to send me an invoice. This was all I ever wanted. They also said that they are usually complimented on the services of their contractors and regretted what happened. I believe that Elite is a legitimate company, and my review should not reflect badly on them. I considered deleting this review, but only because I felt bullied by their response. I stand by my evaluation. Yet another update: Elite Moving, the national company, sent me an invoice the second time I called and told them about what happened, and they were polite, but could not tell me what they would be doing in the future with the company. The first time they said they would ask the company for an invoice, and still nada. So--they provided me one--thanks Elite--but watch out for your sub-contractors. Advice: Never give cash, pizza or anything you don't get a receipt for or it just may be a loss you cannot recover form if the company is disreputable.

Amazing! This is the second time we used Jeff and his crew. Very professional. Very careful. Probably the best moving service we've ever used and we've moved a dozen times. Our first move was an unload of a 26' haul truck and a 12' trailer. They did a great job and were very careful. So when we moved again I called them first. They loaded a 16' POD and did a great job. Very careful and a nice tight pack with no gaps or loose boxes. We originally thought we'd need a second POD to get everything loaded but Jeff made it all fit with room to spare.
