AAA COMPUTER REPAIR

Responded immediately to contact from Angie's list, and explained he'd been having serious cellular voice-mail service failure problems from Verizon. (Anyone else been up against that? Give Verizon another well-earned reviewing right here! ; ) We HAVE had Mr. Haake here to work on our computers before and he has done fair work, reasonably-priced on two prior occasions over the last couple years. It was frustrating, having to call twice to get a response the last time, also--however, Mr. Haake DOES take his customers' service ratings quite seriously, he tends to arrive about 10 minutes before appointment time when prior scheduling doesn't go into overtime (naturally), and we're confident our oldest c.p.u. will be up+running again within the next 10 business days ... if it can be salvaged at all. Main reason for the lower 'punctuality' grade at this point being the protracted difficulties in contacting him, which tho were apparently circumstances beyond his own professional control, resulted in the project being delayed nearly two months. Thus the work ended up being indefinitely postponed from when I actually had the time to coordinate on scheduling to the latter, busiest part of autumn which made it considerably more inconvenient and an overhaul process requiring 3 visits, longer-drawn out over an additional 3 weeks. He is undisputedly one of the best, but Clark Kent was never a resident of central New York after all, was he? (Must be too much Kryptonite in the ground-water 'round here, doubtless. ; ]

.This experience went very well. Brian arrived on time and did a complete evaluation. He outlined the work that needed to be performed and gave me a very reasonable time frame. A couple days later, my computer was returned. Work completed at a very fair price. What I really like is the fact Brian comes right into your computer setting. He sees where your computer performs it's tasks on a daily basis. That gives Brian the best understanding of your computer product. You get the correct and best service.

Bryon was quick to respond to set up the service call. He was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. The Angies deal was for 90 minutes. Bryon was in no hurry to leave. He finished the work, even though it took longer than the 90 minutes. My computer has never worked so well.

If you're like me you've tried Windows 10 and found that some of your programs from 7 or 8 are not compatible. I first attemped to revert to 7 by myself, but after talking with a rep from Time Warner for about 45 minutes she gave up and said I needed to call Microsoft. She was kind enough to provide the phone number .... I wonder if she realized the wait-time was an hour and a half! Well I finally got throught to Microsoft and after several attempts I was advised I needed to go back to Time Warner. Wish I had called Bryon Haacke at AAAf first, because in less than an hour he not only had me up and running, my system seemed to have more speed. He was also kind enough to update my email to Windows Live, and I didn't have to change my email address from TW! I love it. Bryon gave me some great info on my computer as well, and when it's time for a new hard drive I will be giving him a call. By the way, I called one of the leading computer stores who said if I brought it to them they would run a complete diagnostic to the tune of $159 (that told me they didn't have a clue how to fix it)! You'll love working with Bryon. This is the second time I've had him - the first was for my TV should system.

Came on time as promised. Did the work quickly and efficiently.

He did everything I ask him to do and offered some suggestions on how to keep my system working correctly.

The service was quite a long time ago. I had several issues with my desk top and all of them were fixed efficiently and professionally.

External hard drive had crashed. Various system failures and System Restore would not work. He ran various tests. Helped reset workstation setup. Provided solid feedback. Personal and professional. DEFINITELY will use again. NOTE: I was able to contact him on a weekend holiday. He responded by email (as on vacation) and we coordinated a service call.

Everything was done promptly, professionally and with outstanding communication, and without ANY of the condescension that often comes from people who know more than you and want you to know it. Ever since our IT department (i.e., son) moved to California we've been on our own. Byron does this for a living and it shows. We will definitely use him again.

He found exactly what I wanted (including windows 7) and delivered it within a few days. He was able to install all the files and programs from my old desktop so that I would not have to start over from scratch. He also some installed some programs which he thought might be of use to me. He also gave me a quick tutorial on how to use a laptop. This is the second time I have used Bryon's services. I have found him to be responsive, knowledgeable and professional. Would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

The Mac fixer, Ken, was scheduled to come at 7 p.m. but called that afternoon and asked if he could come then, as he'd gotten freed up from a job. I agreed, and he got right to work when he got here, listened to my story, looked for the problems, and found them. Then he proceeded to eliminate all that he found. He then went back to the internet and tested to make sure there were no further problems. There was one, and it took an extra few minutes to find and destroy that one, but when he was done, I had my high-speed internet back. Ken was polite and efficient. I am very relieved.

As always AAA Computer and it's owner Byron are the only company I will deal with when it comes to computer repair or replacement. Not only is Byron knowledgeable but he is reasonable in pricing and honest to a fault. In late November I was having a problem with my old desk top & called AAA Bryon came quickly and a**** the problem - the mother board was going . He found one - same age as mine but we had no idea how long it would last. After the first of the year I decided it was time to speak with him again and have him build me one that was both dependable and would last longer for the use that I give it. Byron put in a military mother board and hard drive. We discussed what programming I wanted. Unlike the store bought variety of computers , I am not paying for programs I do not want & will not use but rather getting top notch guts put into my machine which I know are reliable. I do not have to phone "tech support" for issues. I have relied on Byron and AAA Computer since I first found him on Angie's List many years ago and referred friends and professional people to Bryon for the help they need with their personal and business computers and those friends were also very happy with the work that was done. I personally will never go to any other computer service for any work or new equipment because he is the best .

Overall, a very good experience. A clean cut professional, who knew exactly what to do. Not one of these goofy geeks who think they know it all. He listened to my concerns and problems. He took control of the situation, letting me know every step of the way what he was doing. I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Every computer owner who utilizes the Internet is bombarded with technically savvy pop up operators trying to sell their products and services. They won't hesitate to manipulate and con their way onto your computer device. Every so often you need that professional touch like AAA computer repair. They brought me up to date with what to look for and how to avoid the pitfalls, that are out there.

Bryon was friendly and prompt. He came to the house and worked at the computer with problem. The fix was to download two updates, but I did know know that, or how to do it. So it was an easy fix but well worth it to me.

Arrived as scheduled. Explained what he was doing as he did it. Showed me what my problems were. Recommended solutions. Very professional and easy to work with. So convenient not having to disconnect my computer and take it someplace and wait x days to get it back. $60 fee for a house call is remarkable. Would, and will, recommended him to my friends and associates.

Our church uses a computer in the auditorium to display song lyrics and sermon notes. We were having problems with Office 2010, so we decided to upgrade to Office 2013. I took upon the task to do it; I have a medium amount of computer knowledge and figured this was going to be an easy. That is, until I mistaking pulled the plug on the computer while I was uninstalling Office 2010. I worked for 5 hours trying to fix it the problem along with multiple calls to Microsoft. Finally, Microsoft told me that I would need to give them my credit card and they were going to charge me over $200 just to consult on the problem. At that point, I gave up and decided to give Angie's list a try. This is when I found Bryon at AAA Computer Repair, what a delight! He was able to resolve the issue very quickly by re-installing Office 2010 and then uninstalling it. I don't know what we would have done without Bryon's expertise! After my initial contact, Bryon responded within 30 minutes, we set up an appointment for the same week and he was early for the appointment. He was very professional and even helped with another computer while he was there. We will definitely use him again when the need arises.

This is my first Angie's List experience and it has been great! Bryon returned my call the same day I left a message, and visited my home the next day. Unfortunately I was missing a necessary Bose cable so he had to make a second trip to my home once the cable was found. He had my Bose working in no time, and sounding great! He was professional, polite and I wouldn't hesitate to call him for any computer or other electronic issues I may have.. A major company with initials BB quoted $180. for the work Bryon did. AAA Computer rates are very reasonable!

I called Byron on a Saturday morning regarding a computer problem I was having and he gave me an estimate of the time the job would take and quoted me a very reasonable rate. He was confident that he could do the job in that alloted time and that there wouldn't be any additional add-ons. He showed up at my house three hours later and did a great job , It is so refreshing doing business with a true professional who stands by his word and takes pride in his work. Strongly recommended.

I let my fingers do the walking through the Yellow Pages looking for a good computer repair company that could speed up my old computer. I realized before I met Bryon that I need a new computer. Not only is the hardware old and worn out, the XP operating system is no longer supported by Microsoft. I contacted Bryon on a Saturday and an appointment was arranged for the following Tuesday at 10:00am. At 9:00 he called and asked if he could postpone the appointment until 1:00pm, as a large corporate account had called him with an emergency. At approximated 12:30 Bryon called to let me know he was on his way, arriving on schedule. While he was doing his thing on the computer, I began quizzing him about building a new desktop for me. His knowledge was very impressive, convincing me that I need a new computer. All I wanted was to increase my operating speed and I'm going to end up with a new computer... And I will give Bryon the opportunity to build one for me. All I'm looking for right now is to stretch the life of this computer for another 6-8 month's and I'll have him build me a custom unit. BTW, Bryon did increase the speed of this old boat anchor slightly. But, I wasn't betting on anything due to the age of the PC. He also downloaded a copy of MalwareBytes that he asked me to run every two weeks. He also installed TeamViewer which will allow him to assist me over the phone in diagnosing issues that may arise.
