"This was amazing! I had no idea this service existed. After searching and contacting various repair places for my washer, this was the most cost effective option. I figured if it didn't work, my machine is old and I would be out $40, not the $100+ to have a tech come out and just diagnose the problem. I am pretty handy and my washer is old anyway, so if it is broken, I have to get a new one anyway. My tech, Steve, was great! He predicted what was wrong after listening to the machine, calmly walked me through dismantling the machine and when we got down to the motor, he was right! He sent me a link to the part I would need, and let me know to contact them again if I needed help installing it. My machine works even better than before it broke, its beautifully quiet and efficient. I will definitely be saving this company for any future repairs on appliances I may need. The service was $40 + the part cost, which was about $8."

"I would like to report to you how rude and unprofessional Andrew of All Island Dryer and Vent Solutions was by refusing to set up another appointment to service my dryer vent. An appointment had initially been set up and had to be cancelled because of severe inclement weather which was understandable. He had wanted to reschedule for a date and time when I knew I could not be home because of another appointment which I could not reschedule. However since he insisted on that date I told him I would be home by 1:00pm and not the 10:30am that he wanted and I was told he would be there between 1 and 3:00pm. When I arrived back home at 12:30pm there was a message time stamped at 10:50am that he would be at my home in a half an hour. I immediately called him to say that I was now home and to please call me to let me know if he was coming or can we reschedule. He never called back even after leaving two additional messages. The next day another message was left since he did not even have the courtesy of returning my calls. I finally got to speak to him after calling him once again and was rudely told to find someone else to clean my vents! I am very disappointed in Angi’s selection of this company to receive your fine stamp of approval."
