Description of Work: I was getting an estimate to have a tree stump removed from my daughters property (which I would be paying for). I met with the sales rep the same day he returned my call. An estimate was given the same day. I am waiting to meet with another tree stump remover for a second estimate before making my decision. Davey's rep, Tom Anderson was prompt, professional and very nice.

Description of Work: They fertilized and sprayed my crab apple tree for apple scab. This was the first time in several years that it retained it's leaves. I'm very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: A lot of trees and shrubs had grown wild over decades all around the two story house with attached two car garage. When we went to get a quote for new gutters we were told that they could not even access the gutters or roof areas necessary to install the gutters without having a lot of trees and shrubs trimmed, cut way back, or cut down. We could not be happier with the work and customer service from the quote through completion. | |I received a call the same day I requested a free quote on Angie's List online. Andy, the area manager, arrived on time for the quote and was very neat, polite, professional and friendly. He took his time carefully walking around the entire house and garage with me. We literally discussed each and every tree and shrub (there is a huge variety of different types on the property) and he discussed what he would recommend be done. He answered all of my questions and listened to what I wanted. | |Each tree and shrub that required work was listed on the quote by their type, size and location and the quote clearly set out what was to be done to each of them. I really appreciated the patience. Andy was so nice and professional and arrived right on time for the quote. | |After going back in his vehicle to take his time writing up the quote, he explained it all to us in detail. He did not rush us through the process. He took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions. He listened to what our wishes were and understood our needs. After doing all of that the price was just perfect and there was absolutely no hard selling at all. | |Andy would have been happy to just leave the written contract with us and let us get back to him but we were so impressed with his professional and not trying to hard sell us that we signed the contract on the spot. The workers arrived on time and were also very neat and professional. There was no music blasting or any yelling back and forth between the workers. Description of Work: Took one look at tree in back yard and said he wasn't certified to work near power lines. This should be stated from the get-go so both our times aren't wasted. Funny how he's the only removal company who said it was too close to power lines- out out of five places.
