ORVILLE'S HOME APPLIANCES

Description of Work: I purchased a Jenn Air cooktop which was installed in August 2013. My son was home when it was installed. I came home within half an hour of the installation and noticed that one of the small stainless steel molding strips was very sharp. I called an mentioned it to the service dept. First they stated that it was probably with in the "standards" and not to worry about it. I asked for a new one. So eventually they said they would order a new one. | I waited a month and finally prodded them, finally they called and came up with a time for someone to come out to the house. Then they cancelled because of a family emergency. They finally came, WITH and entire new cook top, BUT NO MOLDING !! |Then they reordered it again, and came with 2 new pieces of molding one of which was just as bad as the first and one of which did not have adhesive. Finally the installer was able to take the 2 pieces and fit them together and make it work. By this time it was after 4 months. The piece that needed to be replaced cost probably $8, They probably spent $300 in man hours because there was no quality control at the factory, or in the warehouse. But Orville's wasn't really concerned about how happy I was. I was happy with the people that came to the house though. They were just as frustrated as I.

Description of Work: I had purchased a washer, dryer and two dehumidifiers from Orville's OPark store. Prices were good, sales personnel knowledgeable and tend to work with you. Delivery and installation (July 2013 for the washer) and (January 2014 for the dryer) were great. Since these were Whirlpool Duet pair, the only frustrating issues were with Whirlpool. They could not even tell if the bases from our 8 year front load washer (Replaced due to Rear bearing failure) and the dryer (replaced due a feline hair cabinet fire) would fit the new washer and dryer. Found out the hard way that they actually did fit by removing them prior to Orville's delivery. Orville's would have removed and replaced them, but this was done in order to facilitate delivery process. By the way, the damaged appliances were removed and placed in our SUV by Orville's crew for disposal. For the dehumidifiers, they were carried out and loaded in our SUV. Could not ask for more. This was on May 12, 2014 or so.

Description of Work: we purchased all of our kitchen appliances at orvilles. Fridge,stove,microwave,dishwasher,and also our washer and dryer. We got a great price and the customer service was great. the delivery also went great nice smooth on time and no problems.

Description of Work: Orvilles had to replace a gasket on the washing machine. The company brought the gasket in and installed it.
