they arrived fast- the day after I called- they reattached wires which restored the lights to half my basement- were very careful to put booties on over his shoes, even though I told him it was the basement and I didn't care.

The provider was on time, performed the ork in a professional, effecient manner. At the` conclusion, he delivered a hard sell for the`company pre-paid service contract. It seemed that this was the whole purpose of the sale. Also, he left no instructions as to how the system operated. Ysually there is a manufacturers set of guidelines. | | | | | | | | | | | | |

Fantastic for the Christmas lights.

The young man was right on time. Jameson gave us an 8:00 to 10:00 window, and the electrician showed up at 8:00. I wanted the outlet on the front porch wall, but it would have required hooking into the porch light and running conduit from the light to the outlet box. It would have been unsightly. The solution was to install it on the side wall near the front corner of the house. The work was done quickly and cleanly. The outlet box is exactly what we had wanted, and the electrician took the time to check our service/circuit box as well while he was here. We could not be happier, and for the first time since we bought the house eleven years ago, we have Christmas lights on the porch. I've also wanted an outdoor outlet for power tools in the warmer months. We've been planning on getting an electrician to do work in our home next summer. We'll call Jameson again. And we did.

Jameson Electric seems like a great company. They came to look at our requested job, but were unable to complete it due to our existing electrical issues. I may use this company for other electrical work in the future.

The service was okay. I liked that they were highly rated multiple times on Angie's List, that was a good thing. It was just a quote for the owner of the home, no work done yet at this point. The interaction was very good.

Complete electrical upgrade - install new box and wiring. new hard wired smoke/co2 detector. Installation took nearly all day by experienced, thorough, professional, and personable installer.

Decided not to accept the bid because it was very high.

The company was responsive to our calls. One of the outlets was installed in a location that we were unhappy with, so the electrician moved it without additional charge. We have a very old home with all of the quirks that come with that, and the electrician was wonderful working around those issues, including us in the alternative decisions that had to be made to get the lights installed where they needed to go.

They were polite, they explained everything in detail, Jesse gave me several options, and we were both disappointed that the work could not be done. The office even gave me a phone number so I could call for a refund. They are going to email me with a quote, which I throught was really nice of them.

I purchased the deal because it stated that it was, "good for up to one hour of service." However, the company later told me that the coupon was only good for sending a truck to my house, and not for 1 hour of work. The electrician was very courteous, however.

My house was built in 1905 and, other than wiring for new appliances and some updates over the years, had 15A knob-and-tube wiring throughout much of the house. I am planning on blowing dense pack cellulose insulation into the wall cavities and given the continuing increase in electrical needs in a modern home I felt the 110 year-old wiring had outlived its usefulness for my needs. It isn?t often that I am able to write a letter giving high marks to a contractor who performs work on my property. I am very pleased with the job performed by Chris and Jim Sr. entailing the removal of knob and tube wiring at my property, along with several other small tasks. Chris was very professional, has excellent attention to detail, and was a pleasure to have in my home. He spent the first day examining the existing wiring and formulating a plan of action before spending the next 10 days working VERY hard in cramped and dusty spaces that hadn't seen light since 1905 disabling the knob-and-tube and fishing new wiring. He minimized holes in the plaster in difficult situations (the wall headers were well below the attic floor in this house), made sure to restore power to lights before leaving for the day, swept any debris from the floors, and called if he was running behind. He worked very hard at my property, and I sincerely appreciate his efforts. Jim Sr. was also very knowledgeable and professional and I was very pleased with the work they did as a team and am happy to be able to recommend this company to others.

They've always done very good work for me in the past.When I called the inspector to have our house checked, he asked us who we used to get the electric serviced. When we said Wire Electric, he said, "Well I guess we won't have any problems then."

Called ad from phone book. Helper was very nice and helpful. Did a nice job, very neat. Both him and his helper completed the job in good time.

They did very good work. They came as soon as we scheduled it. My husband had a work list and they did everything very efficiently. They seem very competent and professional.

My daughter (service address) was in need of updating her electrical as she had partial fuses and partial breakers when she purchased her house. An impending kitchen remodel necessitated the work be performed now. Jim came to provide an estimate for the work (there was no charge for the estimate unlike other electricians I called) and assessed the work that needed to be done. He advised the 100 amp service she had was appropriate for her home and didn't try to upsell and get her to upgrade her service unnecessarily. He provided a price. I advised him that I am an Angie's List member and he gave a better discount on the work than the 5% offered by the Angie's List coupon. Jim Sr and Chris arrived to perform the work and we were immediately impressed by their professionalism. It turns out the electrical was in worse shape than we originally thought and Jim Sr explained why she was probably going through light bulbs like crazy. It took approximately 4 hours or so to perform all the work. They cleaned up every bit of mess that was made. Later that evening we discovered one of the outlets wasn't working. I called the office (after hours) and Jim called me back within 5 minutes. After explaining the situation to Jim he asked if there was a switch near the outlet. It turned out the outlet wasn't working because we put the switch in the "off" position after Jim Sr & Chris checked all the outlets/lights in the rooms in order to label the breakers. I would definitely use Jameson Electric again if the need arises and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Everyone, from the office staff to the electricians, were extremely friendly and professional.

Decided not to use them after I talked to other electricians who had lower rates and knew exactly what a simple job would cost me. I felt I was going to be blid sided by the price when they got here.

On the initial call to the office to set up the appointment went well. The staff (sorry I can't remember her name) was polite and efficient. On the day of the appointment the electrician, Chris, called the house and arrived promptly. He was polite, professional and attentive. I reviewed the problem with Chris, and ask while he was their to provide estimates on two other projects. He went right to work evaluating the situation and was able to give me an idea of what he would need to do with cost for the first breaker outlet problem. He was able to correct the problem in a timely manner and during his work would give me up dates. He found two problems the first was the wiring to the outlet, and the second was reversed wiring to another receptacle. I have not had a problem with the bathroom electricity/receptacle since the correction. Thanks Chris. While Chris was at the house I also had him disconnect electricity that ran to an out door light with underground wiring. He also provided me an additional estimate for a new outdoor light that would mount to the external wall of the house.

We had a good experience with them. He did a good job but he was a little short with a few spots so he ends up running around the house for like 3 hours testing everything and we finally went to the fuse box. I was just a 15 minute job. He is a nice guy. If he could found out what was the problem, it could have been nicer.

Jameson's man, Will, showed up ON TIME (actually five minutes early!) to perform four tasks we needed done. We had purchased the two-hours-for-$99 deal and we had zero hope all things would be done in that time so I had set aside some cash to make up the difference. The first thing was installation of a ceiling fan--not one of these "install in five minutes" jammies that you find at home depot but a complicated Kichler model. We were also under the gun time wise as we had a carpet installer coming that we did not get notice of until the day before the electrical service appointment. Will got the ceiling fan installed in very good time and, in fact, finished just as our carpet guy showed up. The second thing was replacement of a dimmer switch. Will had it done in no time. Third was removal of a busted outside light and replacement thereof with a new one. Lickety-split Will was with that as well. Then we thought we needed another outside light fixed but it turned out it was we who were dim, the light was just off kilter, not broken. Will straightened us and the light out and was even tactful about my stupidity. At the end of it all, Will had everything done in exactly two hours!! So I was not out-of-pocket any money other than that which I had already spent. Sweet!! Will wouldn't accept my tip, despite my insistence. Suffice it to say: I recommend Jameson; ask for Will; if I need electrical again in the future Jameson will be the only place I call.

Diagnosed problem with generator which was not an electrical problem. Will use this company in the future for generator service. Very prompt and professional.

They were prompt and professional, charged $49 for trip out and estimate, which we accepted beforehand. Price was way over two other bids.
