The company came out on 1/29/2014, We were told that we needed a pump and valve changed for $217.40. Called the company back and complained about the price. They sent someone else out on 2/27/2014, they said something, but we were told it could not be fixed until the temperature outside was above freezing. Needed to turn off the boiler and drain it before fixing it. They did not check the thermostat as requested! Heat was being pumped upstairs, but not downstairs. Two days later a pipe froze causing extensive damage. Called another company and was told that the work could have been done without turning off the boiler. Also, the thermostat downstairs was broke!

It was okay. The estimate was $17000. It was something really high. They were okay. They came in to be professional.

It took a little longer to complete the installation than they originally estimated, but it was done within a reasonable time. There was also a question about the final price but after a conversation with the office administrator it was worked out satisfactorily.

Not well.

There was no fee for the estimate but I did not get the service because it cost too much. They were at a home show and I talked to three firms and had them come out and give me some estimates on the mini-split and they're all too expensive. They were pleasant enough and they followed up, which was always nice. They were very effective. I probably would not use them again because they're too far for regular heating maintenance and they're way too expensive.

They were prompt, and did exactly what I requested in short order. They even answered some burning electrical questions I had!

My experience was good. I felt the price was good for the service. They showed up on time and there was one technician here doing the work. It took about three hours to install everything.

everything went as planned. Worker arrived at designated time and finished at time stated. System was explained and shown how to work, change filter, etc.

Within minutes of buying the deal an appointment was set for later that week to have the humidifier installed. We have only lived in this house since July 2013 and needed the humidity. The one that was installed was old and inoperative. Jameson did a great job installing a new one and all went well. A couple of months later the motor went out on our 20 yr old furnace and we used Jameson again to install a new furnace and a new thermostat for a great price. They made sure we were aware of the rebate offered by the gas company and helped fill out the paperwork. They also had to reset the venting because it was pitched improperly and water was collecting in the pipes. A couple of days after installation we realized, at 9:30 pm, that the furnace wasn't working. We called Jameson and someone was there to fix it by 10:30 p.m. The issue was a manufacturer part defect that they replaced and it's been working great ever since. Jameson Electric is very responsive and very professional. Our air conditioner is also 20 years old and will need to be replaced soon. Jameson Electric will be the first place we will call when that happens!

Scheduling was easy and he was on time, however, I would not hire them again. I think they are overpriced and the electrician did not do what I had asked him to do. I did not really like that. He wasted a lot of time tracing my electrical system which I did not need and I ended up paying for the extra hour for it.

On time arrival, scheduled around other outside work, done quickly. Nice guy! Great company!

The electrician went to the basement to run a wire up and outside, drilling through a brick outside wall, to complete the work. He did a very good job and cleaned up afterwards. This was an Angie's List Big Deal, so it was great to get this done, as I needed this for a long time.

The 2 guys replacing the furnace were great - neat, timely, professional. The duct cleaner guy made a mess.

technician showed up when promised ,did all the work promised , was friendly and professional . g as he was there most of the day we forgot he was there at times we lost no services to rest of the house while he was working. we eexpected no power at times in regards to items like tv and computer.

I purchased the whole house humidifier deal from Angie's List for $349. Bob showed up, on time, to do the installation. He went down in my basement to the furnace and everything looked fine. Then Bob realized that I did not have central air or a nearby drain for water from the system. He came up and told me that it would be $400 to run the pipe to my sewer outlet. Bummer. There went the deal. Or so I thought. Bob called the manager. The manager told Bob to go ahead and install the additional pipe at no charge. Sweet! Kudos to management! Kudos to Bob for calling! Two hours later, I had the humidifier installed and Bob walked me through its use. Simple to use, incidentally, and my girlfriend and I are much happier giving each other fewer static shocks. I used Jameson before, got the two-hours of electrical work for a serious discount, and I was quite pleased. I am again quite pleased. Someday I will have to pay these guys full price for something... Upshot is that I would recommend Jameson to anyone who needs electrical or heating/cooling work done.

The 30 year old furnace gave up the ghost on Sunday. I called two so-called 24-7 businesses, and only Jameson responded. This is the second time we've used their services. A service guy was at our house within two hours. The repair would have been pricey, so we decided to bite the bullet and get a new, far more efficient furnace. Luckily, we were in a short warm (ish) weather period, so the house didn't get too cold, and we have a gas fireplace and space heaters, so we were okay for a couple days. The installers showed up on time and did the job efficiently and courteously. We had two small issues. First, they installed a new thermostat that was much smaller than the original (and no better). It left a big, old paint gash around it and looked cheap. My wife suggested they could do better, do the installer headed out to see what he could do. He came back with a bigger, better, lighted Aprilaire model that is easy to program and looks great. Maybe Jameson should lead with the better thermostat. The cleanup was thorough, the high efficiency furnace worked great, and the guys left. Two hours later I was returning from running errands, and I got out of my car (on the curb) heard a loud alarm. I went into the house and down the basement where the hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide alarm was going off and a woman's voice chanted "Warning! Carbon monoxide danger!" (Think Lost in Space). I got a fan going, opened the door to the outside, and called Jameson. The service guy said he'd be back within 2 hours. In the meantime, two of Buffalo's finest showed up. One was in the basement, and the other popped her head into the kitchen to see if we were being robbed. The tech finally showed, fixed the problem (a faulty alarm) and hung around for a couple hours to make sure everything was okay. He left but came back with a plug in carbon monoxide detector for our peace of mind. As he was getting into his car, this alarm went off He had neglected to mention that it was on and needed to be plugged in or it would start beeping. We have a new furnace. We've stayed warm throughout the arctic vortex, and in spite of a few minor headaches, Jameson was great.

Problem was quickly traced to a blown circuit breaker. Overall speed and quality of service and parts replacement was excellent.

they were punctual and professional. A bit pricey, but i guess thats the trade off for professional work.

The worker was on time and very courteous and professional. This is the first time we have used Jameson Electric and will definitely use them again and refer them to friends and family. We are very happy with the service performed.
