Description of Work: I just posted this on Yelp: I asked Jameson to come out to give a quote on installing a ceiling fan. I had already removed the existing fan, installed the new fan mounting bracket, and assembled the new fan. The amount of work involved was basically hanging the new fan and connecting the wires. Their quote was $715. So I paid the service fee and asked them to leave. I would never recommend them.

Description of Work: The company came to do a diagnostic and estimate for a new switch & wiring for a ceiling mount pull-chain light fixture. The company was unresponsive to our questions and though we were reimbursed our fee the experience was frustrating since another vendor was needed to complete the diagnostic and the job.

According to our records this customer purchased the wrong parts for the light fixture that was needing repair. She was not willing to purchase a new fixture. In addition, she expected the repair costs to be included in the service call charge. Our company normally charges a service call charge which includes a brief diagnostic period. Extensive diagnostics require considerably more time and must be charged accordingly. Service call charges also do not include repair costs except in cases where the repair is minimal, at which case the Technician can complete the repair at no charge as a courtesy. She refused the repair.

Description of Work: Tech was a little early. He was professional, answered all our questions and explained exactly what was wrong. He Corrected the wiring issue with our breaker box and recharged our Freon quickly. Got our ac up and running super fast! Couldn't be happier with the service! A++++

The Angie's List deal that this customer purchased was for replacing an existing fan with a new one. It did not allow for running new wiring. By code you can use existing wiring to replace a fixture. Nothing was done against code or remotely unsafe. I wish we could have had the opportunity to speak with her. A simple phone call to our CSM could have resolved this.

I was not happy with Wire Electric or their fees. They charged $100 for an emergency visit and another $100 to leave the premises to get the part, which we had told them on the phone the part we needed. We would never ever hire this outfit again.
Description of Work: I called Wire Electric for an emergency. I had plugged in a new range and it sparked.

Wire Electric came to my house on time. They came out on a weekend for me. They charged me a little bit more being on the weekend, but they did a good job. All my lights are working great now.
