Had service provider before were not always on time in emergency situations. This time we called he was on time called before they came out very clean, Fix problem that no one was really able to find. didn' t mind me looking at the over his shoulder. Very Polite accross the board great

the guy was sub-contracted from the provider I called, but the young man was very professional. He hit a snag when he found that the sewer trap in the house I rent had been covered by kitchen cabinets in the basement kitchen. Stumped for a few minutes, he snaked the sewer drain through the vent outside the house, and then snaked from the toilet and bathtub to be sure all was clear. So what probably would have been a $150 job turned into twice that. The young man persisted and even had his snake machine jam up in my vent, but he was calm and kept at it, so the job took a lot longer than expected which was not his fault. Overall I was very pleased.

My 80 gallon hot water heater was completely beyond repair and I needed a new one. They came right on time at the scheduled time slot. As soon as they arrived they got right to work. They first put down cardboard along the path from my front door to the heater to avoid any mess. They were in and out in under an hour and a half. Chris was very professional and knowledgeable. In the future, for any plumbing issues that may arise, I will definitely call this company up. The price was very reasonable and most importantly, the work was done right.

I assumed it was the expansion tank getting water logged again (happened last year). They had no appointments today but with luck they had a cancellation and they were able to send someone over very quickly, which was great because we have a house full of guests coming this weekend. Turns out it is the furnace that is the issue, not the expansion tank (a different review for another time!) but the Goldberg guys were helpful and friendly and tried to help with the burner. I wish the service call fee wasn't so high but when you get a plumber to help so quickly that's a bit of a nit pick . I'm grateful they were able to get over here so quickly, even if the problem wasn't one they themselves could solve they at least helped ID the problem.

The plumber arrived promptly, found the leaky pipe and repaired it. He had to cut away part of the ceiling to find the pipe and did so in a very neat and efficient manner. After he was done he also cleaned up the mess from cutting the sheetrock. I cant emphasize how professional and how happy I was to have this leak taken care of.

They came on time and replaced the pump in about one hour. Very satisfied with the experience.

Worst customer service experience ever. The plumber was in my house for a TOTAL of 6 minutes. Since there was no way for me to get a toilet right then, they would have had to come back to install the new toilet. They charged me for a full hour and would not adjust the price for follow-on work. No chance I'll be hiring them to come back.

I called Goldberg plumbing on 2/18, scheduled an appointment for replacement of faucet connections that were leaking pretty bad. I had to shut off the water for the entire lower level. Appointment was for 2/25 9 am. At 845 am, I get a voicemail stating that they cannot come out due to other emergencies. Hello! Is a leaking faucet connection and shutting off the water for an entire floor level not an emergency? And this house is being sold, and an inspector is coming later today. I am moving out of Pawling NY. However, if I were to stay, I would NEVER use Goldberg. Nor would I recommend them to anyone. Totally unreliable and unprofessional.

No problems took about 2 hours with 2 men.

On the day of service, the office called ahead to make sure someone was home. Vinnie showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable and had all the right tools for the job. He also called out a leaky pipe to my attention which was addressed while he was there. He also changed the anode rod in the heater which was going bad. Overall I am very happy with his work and with the professionalism.

These guys were really great, I was very impressed. I called them, told them my problem, and two technicians were out to the house within hours. Given the below freezing conditions we have had and all the frozen pipes out there I wasn't expecting a turn around that quick nor did I expect them to find the problem that fast. Having lived in the area for several years I have gone through my share of GCs and repairmen and can honestly say I now feel confident with our Electrician, HVAC guys, and now a good plumber. I would recommend Goldberg if you are in the market for a plumber.

Goldberg plumbing did not have to tell me things to try to fix the frozen pipes. I would have gladly paid the service call. What makes them very special, is they were more concerned with my problem and comfort than making a buck. Companies like Goldberg deserve my business and will be the only plumber I call if the need arises. Special thanks to Zoanne!

When replacing part of the cast iron pipe several pieces fell into the pipe. That night I had to contact Roto router. They found the drain was clogged with the broken pieces of the old cast drain pipe. In addition the plumbers chisel was found in the pipe. The plumber never said a word, closed up the pipe and left.

They did an excellent job and would recommend them!

We called on a Sunday afternoon for an emergency appointment to clear our main sewer pipe that was backing up into our bath tub. Because we have used them before, we knew that they would have a fast response. We received a call back within 15 minutes and the technicians were here in less than 2 hours. The techs worked quickly, cleanly and professionally to fix the problem. We would use them again, and would recommend them to others.

Went very well. Staff is professional and courteous, they are a company that stands by their work. The solder on one of the pipes was not fully adhered so the pipe still had a small leak which is common, called them right back and they sent someone quickly. A company that stands by their work is important in my book. Only thing is the price tag, because our job was small we were charged per hour and the rate can be astronomical if they need to spend some time there. All in all great experience.

It went extremely well. Chris and his assistant were friendly, neat & careful. Chris was knowledgeable & took the time to answer whatever questions. I had an issue with slow-to-no water, and Chris diagnosed the problem in no time (I was also very impressed that they checked what the overall water pressure for the town is; not sure if that's typical). When they were done, they replaced everything back. I would definitely use them again

A second visit was arranged during which the previous repairs were done correctly. However, the provider charged an additional 1/2 hour of "straight time" at a rate of $80, something I admittedly agreed to during an argumentative follow up call to the provider. Given the wasted time and expense of the first repair call, and my own wasted trip to a plumbing supply house, I do not feel it was right for the provider to add insult to injury by charging for this additional time. Unless this second billing is refunded, I will not use this provider again in the future. On 09/05, the provider called to apologize for the quality of the first technician's work and the inconvenience it caused. The provider also promised to send a refund check for the money they charged for the return visit. I am now satisfied with that resolution and would use the company for any future plumbing needs.

they were on time and professional. explained everything that they were doing. price was a bit high, but overall we were satisfied with the work. we also received quotes for additional work which we choose not to do because it was cost prohibitive.

Initially there was a slight mix up with them returning a service call to us. It appears they may have left a message on a wrong telephone number. After that was corrected, they returned our call and set up an appointment quite quickly. They also called before their arrival. The 2 plumbers who arrived were very professional, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Originally, they were supposed to only repair the leaking valve, but they also attached the drain pipe fitting while they were here. They made sure that everything was working properly before they left. I would use them again for any plumbing problems.

They've replaced a gasket, repaired a toilet and replaced a water heater. Small job or large, they are very good and fair.
