First treatment included their truck pulling down a National Grid line. Other than that - treatment was uneventful. A second treatment was recommended for later in the summer / early fall. I ( mistakenly) anticipated some form of contact from the company prior to returning for the 2nd treatment. Because the tree was obviously on it's way and quot;outand quot; as the summer advanced, I intended to advise them NOT to return. There was no advance notification and despite the lousy condition of the tree, they did provide the 2nd injection and forwarded the bill. I contacted their office to express my concern / they advised me that in many cases, the tree recovers by the following spring. Well, that did not happen in this case. The tree is dead and pending take- down.

Grimm services are very professional. We called them out to remove the three Maple trees. These trees were either diseased or in the way of a new garage. They reviewed my property and spoke knowledgeably about the problems of various trees and shrubs.

We had set up an appointment to come out and give me an estimate. He came out and just left, never gave me an estimate. He had told me that they were busy but I thought if you come out to give an estimate that I would have an estimate in hand. I didn't hear anything back and had to call them to ask for the estimate and received it in the mail 1 week later. He was nice but I just felt this wasn't very professional and decided to move on to someone else.

A storm hit the area and a large tree came down in my backyard onto my house. I obviously needed it removed. I was searching various tree companies in the area and have seen the Grimm people around and about. They advertised emergency tree service and that's what I had. I did not use them, they would not even take my name or consider me for a future customer. When I made the phone call, a female answered and I started to identify myself and before I could finish my name this female cut me off and said and quot;we're too busy for you.and quot; I thought I had mis-heard her and tried to identify myself again to which she said they are too busy to take any new work on and did I know there was a storm that hit the area? Very insulting. I said that was why I was calling and I know they must be busy but can I get on a list or something to have somebody at least call me back or stop by and give me a quote? I could wait because I assumed they must be busy. The female said and quot;we're not taking any new customers, bye.and quot; and hung up. Those are the details of my one and only contact with this service. The other contractors I spoke with were busy also but they were at least considerate and understanding and from them I picked one that I used and reviewed him in Angie's LIst.

We had started to build a garage, but ran into a septic line and had to change locations in a hurry. We called Michael Grimm Services and they were able to get there for an estimate the same day, and remove the trees within two days. The trees were of varying sizes. We asked them to also remove a couple of rotting trees in a different location that were leaning towards the house, which they accomplished the same day. The estimate was higher for the rotting trees since they required special equipment. The service was professional and stayed within the estimate. They were very careful to cause minimal damage to the surrounding areas and cut the stumps at the exact height we requested. By the time they left, we could hardly tell they had been there, except for the stumps. Couldn't have gone better I appreciated the fast service given our timeline.

They came, did and eassessment and presneted a plan. We acceperted and they followed through efficiently and with excellance.

They showed up when they supposed to show up. They did an excellent job.

Michael Grimm Services' quote was way too expensive for me. It didn't seem sensible. It took them a while to get here, and an even longer time to send out the quote. I wasn't impressed with that. The person who came seemed to be knowledgeable and probably would have done a good job, but as I say, it was way overpriced.

They are a very professional company. I was not too disappointed with the price; it was too expensive for me. I would recommend them.

Estimate for landscaping including the weeding, edging and mulching of many large and small flower beds, creation/extension of a bed around the new deck area. Reasonable. Gave quote and estimate within 3 days. Once job confirmed, the stated 6 weeks of scheduling was exactly on time with confirmation by phone. Work done over 3 days - cleaned up after themselves. Very nice landscaping and so fast.

Quote was professional, work was well done, and we are very pleased with the outcome. Will be hiring them again for additional work that needs to be done!

It went very well. They were prompt with the estimate and showed up in a timely fashion. They took care of what I needed at a reasonable price and cleaned up after themselves, very professionally performed.

We used some other providers previously, did it ourselves before that. Returned to Grimm, they really aren't more expensive (orif so, it's minimally more), and they just do it right. Mowing is choregraphed phenomenon, in and out in like 15 minutes (two people) on a half acre lot. They do a better job in less time than we ca ourselves, they blow the place clean, touch everything up. I recommend them.

The employees of Michael Grimm Svcs. were very professional and performed all services to my satisfaction. A very special thanks goes to Ron, the salesman for the company. He is a very pleasant man and knows his business well. A special thanks goes to both of the gentlemen who did the job. They were very efficient and courteous and advised me as to the care and watering of the the lawn. I did as they instructed and now I have nothing but pretty green grass there. Life is good.

Great. The gentleman the came to give me the quote, was prompt, professional and took the time to listen to what I wanted and explain what they would do. The quote came quickly in the mail, detailing services that were going to be provided. The day of service, they were prompt, did what they were supposed to and cleaned up everything. We were very happy with this service.

I called and a very professional person came and did an estimate. Everything went very well. I knew the day they were coming which was also convenient for me.

I was not totally pleased with the work that was done. Felt that they neglected to do one of the trees we had included in our service agreement. I called the office to complain and they immediately contacted me to make arrangements to finish the work. The crew came out the next morning and took care of the additional work at no charge. I really appreciate the responsiveness to my complaint and am pleased with all the work that was done.

We found Michael Grimm on Angie's List and asked them to come and give us an estimate. The next day, the estimate arrived in the mail, and we couldn't believe how reasonable the cost was. We called immediately to accept the offer and sent in the paperwork that day. They arrived this morning with a number of pieces of heavy equipment and plenty of skilled technicians and set to work. In a matter of hours, everything was done and cleaned up. And I do mean cleaned up - they used a leaf blower all over the yard where they had worked and it's immaculate! They have been professional from start to finish, the price was better than we could have hoped and the job was done flawlessly from our perspective. We won't consider using anyone else if we need tree work in the future. If you use them, you will be delighted.

The overall experience was very good. They are very professional and very capable! It was impressive to watch them work. They didn't stop until they were done!

We contacted Michael Grimm Services for an estimate on the tree pruning/trimming job, and with in the next couple days they were able to come out and provide a free estimate. Upon scheduling, we were able to secure a date with in the week. They were punctual, professional and friendly. They quickly performed the expected tasks, and left the yard clean and completely free of debris.
