Description of Work: Boiler broke, note date--but Ian replaced a valve that afternoon, rather than the full boiler a few days later. This was on the coldest day of the year so I was very happy that there was heat (for me and my 2 sets of tenants) and a bill a few thousand lower. It survived the rest of the brutal winter. working almost continuously until April.

Description of Work: I had a problem with a bathtub that failed to drain. The plumber who came worked very hard to resolve this problem. However, he advised me that the trip lever in the bathtub was broken and to replace it, he would have to break through the wall in the adjacent room. I live in a co-op and this work would require prior approval because it is considered a structural change. Therefore It could not be done the same day. However, he gave me an estimate of $750 for this work if done at a later date. Although the problem could not be completely solved, the situation has greatly improved. The bathtub now drains, albeit slowly, BuI can manage with it as it is until I am able to do the rest of the work needed.

Description of Work: Dundee plumbing replaced my water heater and installed an auto feed system for my furnace. Their service was excellent.

Description of Work: I called them to unclog my bathtub drain. They came promptly, & were very professional. Unfortunately they were not able to unclog the drain. After trying for about 15 minutes, he told me he was unable to do it, & recommended another company that specializes in my type of problem. They took no money from me - in fact they refused my offer of some money for their time & effort.

Description of Work: We needed a gas line extended (approx 25 feet of pipe) for an outdoor natural gas grill. It took a week to get someone out for an estimate but were told to expect a quote the next business day. After multiple follow up phone calls on my part, I was eventually told that the estimate was mailed. Two and a half weeks later we receive the quote... which was twice the price than who we ended up working with. Perhaps they are just extremely busy.
