I was overall pleased with Greenfield Plumbing. When I called, they were upfront on the cost. During their visit, they were very professional and courteous. Our house trap was very difficult to open - not a single complaint and they were persistent and calm while trying to get it open. I would use them again for other plumbing issues/fixes.

I found Greenfield Plumbing and Heating on Angies list after having a bad experience with a local plumber. When I called Greenfield Plumbing, a nice lady answered the phone and coordinated an appointment for the next available day. Billy showed up within the time window. He took some time to evaluate the leaky shower problem .Unlike the plumber I had used before, Billy told me that the leaky faucet was fixable without "knocking a hole in the wall" as per my other plumber's suggestion. He installed a new Delta monitor shower cartridge and also changed the fill valve of the toilet. Billy was cordial, professional and tidy. I appreciate the honest and professional way I was treated from the phone call to the completion of the job. By far the most dependable plumbing company.

I called Greenfield plumbing after the plumber I used lat time told he was booked solid and could only come if I paid for an emergency repair. A bit annoyed I logged onto Angie's list and found the listing for Greenfield plumbing. I called Greenfield at approx. 10 am and they had an employee at my house by approx. 1120 am. Needless to say I was very pleased with the response time for what was not an emergency repair. I had no hot water and my boiler needed a smart control device which the Greenfield plumber, John had in his truck. The whole repair was done in about an hour and now I have hot water again. Overall I was very pleased with the service provided by Greenfield plumbing and they are now my primary plumbing company.

Valves were replaced and radiator was properly leveled. Leak was repaired and banging noise has ceased.

We have had 2 great experiences with Greenfield. The first time about 7-8 months ago our toilet overflowed on a weekend night. We desperately tried to find a plumber who would answer us for an emergency call in a timely manner. We used their emergency call system (as well as attempted several others) and they called us back within 15 minutes. The on call plumber was very busy but spent a very good amount of time on the phone with my husband to attempt to assess whether the issue warranted immediate service or not. He was extremely helpful and assisted in figuring out whether we needed someone right away which would mean we would incur larger cost (weekend and middle of the night). My husband and the on call plumber agreed that it could wait until the next day. Someone contacted us and came the next morning. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The second time we used Greenfield was today for a similar issue. They came pretty quickly the same day because they recognized that it effected a main drain. 2 plumbers came and analyzed the issue and tried to rectify what they could at the time. They were able to explain all the issues to me and also explained the costs of the services they were providing (Snaking and camera) and let me decide if I thought either was necessary. In the end, we have a larger issue however, I really felt that both experiences were extremely positive as everyone we have come in contact with over the phone has been 100% responsive and helpful. We would absolutely recommend Greenfield and use them in the future.

My experience went very well. The staff was professional and knowledgeable in their field. They were happy to undertake the project even though it was more than what I had thought. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this company to others.

The experience was not a good one and I was very surprised because of the great reviews on Angie's List. I cant comment on pricing or work that was done because no work was performed, but I can comment on customer service and professionalism - surprisingly poor...stay away if this is something you value in a plumbing company.

Greenfield is a great plumber. Before we found them we had work done by several local plumbers and we were disappointed every time. The others just didn't show up to scheduled appointments, never called back, etc. Greenfield is reliable and trustworthy. We highly recommend Greenfield.

Shower is in tub...couldn't get the shower part to work. Called late on a friday afternoon. They came early saturday morning, right on time. Technician was clean, neat, efficient, and expert. Got the shower working well, quickly. I asked if he could fix the slow drain as well. He did that as well. I was impressed by both the cleanliness of the work and fast resolution of the problems. After he left, my first thought was: wow, that was easy.

They worked very hard and were terrific. The cost was a little high, but other than that I was pleased.

I called today and John came over in the afternoon, right on time! He was very courteous and professional through the whole process. I was very impressed. He started by examining the two stains in the basement ceiling. After seeing it has ceiling tiles, he tried to figure out the issue without taking down the tiles orcreating unnecessary hassles. He made sure to wear shoe covers all the time, covered my floor carefully and cleaned out debris in the end. He carefully evaluated possible leaks and eventually discovered the wet stains came from animal pees. He did not stop there - he advised me what to do next by calling pest control and he went beyond to show me how to close up the ceiling tiles. I cannot tell his plumbing job yet, but I surely will hire him again for my plumbing needs. And with this level of services attitude, I am sure Greenfield will be around for years to come. thanks

Greenfield Plumbing actually answers the phone when you call and gives you a date and time there and then for when they will come. Not like other services where you call and wonder when and if you will ever hear back. John arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He fixed all the problems without difficulty. These were all "small jobs" which some plumbers just don't have the time for. He also adjusted our water pressure (ours was too high) to prevent new problems from cropping up in the future. We would definitely use them again.

Very simple fixes for the technician. Both issues resolved quickly and effectively.

They came first thing in the morning, I had a backed up sewer line. They changed the parts quickly and they did not leave a mess behind them.

What a great job and what nice people. I can't recommend them enough. Their price was very reasonable and they didn't try to talk me out of getting the permit that the city of White Plains requires for a new hot water heater, which I appreciated. I wanted it done the right way by honest people. The city gave them a hard time about the configuration of my flue and chimney (it's an old house), but Joe came up with a solution that would cost a few hundred dollars rather than the thousands it would have taken to rebuild my chimney. I didn't understand what he wanted to do, and wanted him to meet with my dad, who lives 2 hours away but was planning a visit for that Saturday. Joe and Joey had a christening and a wedding that Saturday but agreed to squeeze in a visit in between to meet with my dad the engineer. My dad was impressed and we were very appreciative. And their fix worked! They did a lot of work and the boiler room was immaculate when they left. When I had a problem with my central air conditioning, they were the ones I called. Turns out the air conditioning was fine -- the problem was with its owner -- and John was extremely pleasant and patient and made sure I understood how everything worked. Greenfield is a pleasure to deal with.

Greenfield came the day after I called, arrived at the promised time and pefformaned all the work requiered by the buyer's home inspoection report quickly and for a reasonab le price, expalining everything they were doing. Even cam back a secoind time the same day on short notice at no extra charge when the buyer raised a new plumbing issue. This company is an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Great experience up to the written quote. No detail provided and when I asked for an itemized quote I was told I wouldn't get one to avoid nitpicking the itemized prices. UPDATE: This provider is not concerned with transparency. Get the hint.

I called Greenfield Plumbing after the previous HVAC "expert" spent an hour and didn't accomplish anything except give me false information about the problem. The receptionist was very friendly and professional at Greenfield. Joe showed up on time and within the hours promised. I was amazed that he was able to solve the problem with my furnace within the first 10 minutes. He then fixed the radiators that the other guys said weren't fixable and gave me a great explanation of how to use my thermostat. It was a bit expensive compared to the other service I called, but then again, the other service couldn't fix anything. Greenfield Plumbing is definitely worth it and I will call them from now on.

The serviceman called prior to arriving and arrived in the agreed-upon window. He was very professional, friendly and helpful. Overall, exactly what I wanted.

The best in the area - and you pay for it

It went very well - I'd recently had my tub re-glazed and the guys from Greenfield were very careful to not scratch the new surface.

Job was done in under 30 mins, plumber was very polite, on time and took the time to explain everything to me and show me what was being done. I was a bit shocked at the final price being that it was a really quick job but I am new to the home ownership game so this could just be me. The point to note here is that I only called them at 10.30am this morning and the job is already done and taken care of. I will definitely be using them again.
