Description of Work: The deal was purchased on 1/9/2015 for a furnace tune-up. During the purchasing process, the website says that I will be contacted by 1/13/2015 for scheduling an appointment. I waited but Tedco never called. So I called Tedco on 1/20 at 10:58 AM and left a voicemail. Tedco returned my call the same day at 12:59 PM but I missed it. I call Tedco again at 1:22 PM and left a voicemail again. Next day, on 1/21 at 9:36 AM, I called Tedco and finally was able to speak to someone. He said he is very busy and his schedule is about 3 weeks behind. He also said that he will call me back as soon as he gets back to his office to schedule an appointment for me, but he never did. Today is 1/23, it's been 14 days and I still don't have an appointment scheduled. This was my first purchase from Angie's List and I'm not liking it. Please process the refund for me. Thank you!

Description of Work: I purchased one of the deals to have my gas burner inspected & cleaned. I know it was a fairly new unit and gas is cleaner than oil but he came, looked at it and just said yea there isn't anything you need to do with this. The offer was for a burner or air conditioner inspection & tuneup so I asked him if I should just use the certificate for the A/C unit. He told me that I'd have to turn on the A/C & let the house get cool so he could inspect it while it was running. It was already very cold outside when he came so that wasn't really an option. So basically he walked into my house, looked at my burner and left without doing anything, so all I did was hand a total stranger $50 for nothing!

Description of Work: The price was great. Worker was a nice guy. |The only problem is that they did not do half of the things on the Angies list deal. If you buy this deal make sure they are doing what they say. |They don't really do anything other than come by basically the guy is at the house for like 5 minutes and just takes a quick look at the ac and asks if anything is wrong. |They were supposed to clean it and check the freon but none of that happens. |

Description of Work: i bgt this deal on 5/12/14 and couldn't get them for awhile. or got them and they never called. finally he got over on 6/26 wherein he tells me my whole unit [central air] needs replacing. he wouldn't do the job, because of the smell from all the dogs. i dont know if he even did what he was supposed to do for the 49.00, i guess not.he spoke very unprofessionally, however sounded very truthful. really, my only complaint was that he took so long in getting over to my rental home that the tenants had to go without a/c from my to almost july. i am getting another unit put in asap, but will probably miss the july 4th holiday and their party in the heat.

Description of Work: TedCo is a Great company. Frank the owner is Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. | |He came to my home to inspect our central air conditioning system. He explained how our unit works, and gave us some helpful tips to keep things running smoothly. | |He took his time and answered all of our questions. This was the first time I utilized his services, he was so amazing that we have hired him to service our boiler as well. | |It was so refreshing to finally meet a service technician who was honest, |hardworking, and still believes in good old fashion Customer Service.

Description of Work: We responded to a special offer to have our air conditioner tuned up for half the price of what I've seen it advertised for at other places. They scheduled an appointment at our convenience and then the day of the appointment called right before he showed up. Very friendly I assumed that they were able to charge so little for this because they could always find something wrong that needed a repair. I also assumed that we need lots of work as we hadn't had a professional look at it in years. I was shocked when my husband told me there was no additional charge for the tune up and no work was needed. Made my day to see such honesty and professionalism

Description of Work: Frank is a small business owner but I that's why I use Angie's List. I like the personal attention and responsiveness. Frank was very professional, confirmed my purchase and scheduled his tune-up. He called the day before to confirm and also same-day that he is on the way. | |When it comes to tune-ups you can expect the service provider to "find" issues that upsell their obvious lure of $49. Frank inspected our unit, went in the attic and even measured the right size of filter I needed. He did not offer or push for anything else. He was pleasant and friendly. I would definitely use him if I need service calls.
